En livsavgörande förändring : En intervjustudie om valet av att genomgå en gastric bypass operation samt den efterföljande livsstilsförändringen
Dagens samhälle kräver att varje enskild individ måste ta beslut över alla de val som vi ställs inför. När det gäller val som antingen gynnar eller missgynnar vår hälsa är möjligheterna idag oändliga. På grund av detta finns det många som ökar i vikt och därmed kan behöva hjälp med att göra en livsstilsförändring. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilka faktorer som kan ha påverkat och motiverat i valet av att göra en gastric bypass operation, samt att urskilja vilka förändringar som följer efter den typen av livsstilsförändring. Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes där fyra informanter deltog och studiens data analyserades med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys.
Förändringen som kom av sig: En fallstudie av kommunikationens roll i en förändringsprocess
This study takes place within a publicly owned art producing organization and dwells on the problems of a change process that the organization was involved in. Both leaders and staff were disappointed by the way the change process had developed. The management team explained the outcome by referring to the uniqueness of working with artists who constantly put their own personal objectives before the benefit of the whole. The aim of this study is to find a complementary explanation to the one the management team provided us with; an explanation that can help in the understanding of the dynamics of a change process. Can perhaps theories on information, communication and change processes give an alternative explanation to why the change process faltered? To investigate this, we have used a qualitative single case study.
Busar eller stackare? : En studie om samarbetet mellan socialtjänst och polis
The purpose of this study was to investigate how the social services and the police co-operate with each other when they come into contact with an individual within their realms of influence. It has been shown in a report by Fridolf (2008) that co-operation is not the aim itself but used as a mean to reach for better processes and better results. We have used qualitative interviews in the study, where three social workers and three policemen have participated from the same municipality to answer our questions. To analyze our result we have used system theory and organization theory. The result of our study shows that within this specific municipality the two agencies co-operate very well.
Vi-kan-ju-banken -Hälsorelaterat förändringsarbete i arbetslivet (Health promotion in the workplace)
With starting point in the increasing ill-health in Swedish working life today, in form of for example absence due to sickness and early retirement pension, and the knowledge that the working environment effects peoples health in a big extent, I found it very interesting to inquire into how people within the working life experience health promotion and how this can be developed. A qualitative method was used to receive a deeper understanding for the employees? experiences and data was collected through semi structured interviews with employees on a bank called Ikanobanken, in Älmhult. The result shows, among other things, that respondents find responsibility and the opportunity to influence the learning processes and development important. It also became clear that the respondents find participation, motivation, communication and safety essential factors when related to changes in health behaviours.

The essay discusses the effects that changes to the office plan have on organizational culture. Information about actual change as well as expected change in organizational culture was gathered before the empirical research was initiated. The empirical research was carried out at the Customer Logistics department at Ericsson through: an interview with a manager in charge of the relocation and design of the office, a manager for the specified department and also five employees of this department. The empirical studies show that there was a significant change in organizational culture and that results were not always as expected. There was a loss in symbolic actions, which needed to be compensated for, a perceived reduction in spontaneous communication, and a mixed response of perceived change in social interaction.
En intervjustudie med lärare och specialpedagoger om arbetet med elever som har läs- och skrivsvårigheter
AbstractThe purpose of this study is to deepen my knowledge in how teachers can teach pupils with reading and writing disabilities, and also find out how a co-operation with remedial teachers can look like.The study is based on qualitative interviews with two teachers and two remedialteachers.The study shows that the two teachers´ co-operation with the remedial teacher appeared to bedifferent. The teacher who had the longest work experience was the one of the two that had a co-operation with the remedial teacher, the other teacher who graduated in 2007 did not have any co operation at all with the remedial teacher.The study also showed that the teachers and the remedial teachers in the study had different opinions about what method to use for pupils with reading and writing disabilities, and that the LTG method was the one most frequently used .All the participants in the study agreed that reading and writing disabilities is a large area, andthat there is a large variety in difficulties among the students . Some of the difficulties the participants had experienced were problems with decoding, pupils that had problems with learning the letters..

How perceptions differ between managers and employees in an organizational changeAuthor: Emma Ender & Fanny TeschTutor: Anne-Marie MorhedPurpose: The purpose of this thesis was to study and compare different perceptions of change communication between managers and employees within two smaller organizations. We wanted to examine how the communication process within the change was carried out. We also aimed to compare the results with change communication models of Johansson & Heide (2008) and Lewin (1951), and also existing concepts, to see if our result differed from earlier research. Our key questions to answer were: How do managers communicate a change to the employees in two smaller companies? How do the managers think that the employees perceive the information about the change? How do the employees perceive the information about the change? How does change models from previous research correspond to, or differ from the change process?Method/Material: The material used in this thesis consists of a total of twelve interviews with both managers and employees at two small companies.Main results: The main results shows that communicating a change is complex, and that it is difficult to create models and theories for the phenomenon, as each change is unique.
Operation Gazelle : Hur förmågan att skapa rörlighet över vattendrag kan bidra till ett högt tempo i striden
Syftet med denna uppsats är att ta reda på om Försvarsmakten har förmåga att genomföra övergång av större vattendrag med tyngre materiel. Detta gör jag genom att göra en fallstudie på Operation Gazelle för att förklara hur israelerna nyttjade sin förmåga till övergång av vattendrag för att få ett högt tempo i sin strid. Jag undersöker också den materiel vilken utbildning och vilka förband Försvarsmakten har för att bygga färjor och flytande broar. Inledningsvis förklarar jag viktiga begrepp såsom tempo, rörlighet, OODA-loopen/beslutscykeln och vattendrag. Jag använder mig av dessa begrepp senare i uppsatsen där jag kopplar detta till hur Israel använde sig av fältarbetsresurser för rörlighet för att få ett högt tempo i sin strid.Slutsatserna är att Israel till stor del lyckades med Operation Gazelle tack vare att de hade förmågan att genomföra en vattenövergång över Suezkanalen. Försvarsmakten har i dag en förmåga att genomföra övergångar av större vattendrag.

A new build in the Swedish nuclear power system would entail increased re-quirements for the proposed repository, which is adapted after the reactors of today. With a fast reactor, capable of burning nuclear waste, operating in parallel with the light water reactors, the increased requirements on the repository could be reduced.In this thesis, simulations of a light water reactor and a fast reactor have been performed by using the Monte Carlo code Serpent to investigate the changes in the fuel inventory. The light water reactor in the study is a boiling water reactor and the fast reactor of the type sodium-cooled fast reactor and they have been used for three different operation scenarios.By studying the fuel composition and the results from the simulations of the three scenarios conclusions can be drawn. Conclusions regarding the change of the fuel inventory and decay heat in Clab as well as the interim storage facility and in the repository. Depending on the operation alternative the changes dif-fered significantly and especially regarding the mass of burned actinides for different fuels in the fast reactor.The lowest increase of fuel assemblies was meet when using 50 years old fuel with 20MWd/kg U burnout and 2,0 % enrichment for start up of the fast reactor and 30 years old fuel assemblies with 50MWd/kg U burnout and 4,7 % enrichment for the further operation of the reactor.The increase of the number of fuel assemblies was 3174, which is equivalent to 641tons of heavy metal.

MCNP-modell för beräkning av neutrondos och DPA på reaktortanken vid Ringhals 2
In this report an MCNP (Monte Carlo N-Particle) model is described for the reactor vessel at Ringhals 2. The model is validated against the specific activity in neutron dosimeters, extracted in 1977, 1984 and 1994. The validation showed that the calculations of the model are within the requirements of a maximum of 20 percent uncertainty for every neutron dosimeter except one, extracted after the first cycle. The uncertainty of this cycle was mostly due to the operation data rather than to the MCNP model.The model has been used to investigate various questions concerning radiation damage. The reliability of the traditional measure of radiation damage, fast neutron flux (En > 1MeV) has been evaluated. This has been done by taking the ratio for this and another measure of radiation damage, DPA (Displacement Per Atom), for various positions and layers.

Att tvingas genomföra ett rökuppehåll i samband med operation - rökares upplevelser
Bakgrund: Det finns flera studier som belyser nyttan med att göra ett uppehåll med rökning i samband med en operation. Ett rökuppehåll ger färre komplikationer och ett bättre operationsresultat. Denna studie belyser rökares upplevelser av att tvingas genomföra ett rökuppehåll för att bli opererade. Syfte: Att beskriva rökares upplevelser av att tvingas göra ett rökuppehåll i samband med operation. Metod: Studien genomfördes med en kvalitativ ansats. Åtta personer som var rökare och hade opererats rekryterades. Urvalet var personer som hade gjort ett rökuppehåll två månader före operation, opererats och fortsatt med rökuppehållet två månader efter operation.
Massmedias syn på Operation Artemis : En fallstudie om Försvarsmaktens och massmedias rapportering från Operation Artemis
Den svenska veteranutredningen lyfter upp mediabilden från Sveriges deltagande i internationella insatser som ett problem. Syftet med uppsatsen är att kartlägga skillnaderna i rapporteringen av händelserna under Operation Artemis i Kongo 2003 utifrån Försvarsmakten och de fyra största dagstidningarna (Aftonbladet, Dagens Nyheter, Expressen och Svenska Dagbladet) samt att undersöka om rapporteringen skiljer sig beroende av om det är en morgontidning eller kvällstidning. Analysen har gjorts utifrån ett narrativt perspektiv och tidningarna har analyserats utifrån kategorierna dagstidningsekonomi, sensationsjournalistik, objektivitet, vinkling och förenkling. Uppsatsen visar på att det finns skillnader i hur både Försvarsmakten och dagstidningarna rapporterade från Operation Artemis. Uppsatsen visar också på att rapporteringen skiljer sig om det är en morgontidning eller kvällstidning som skriver artikeln.
