Ett flerårigt utvecklingsarbete inom Polisen har resulterat i en nationell bastaktik. I den ingår ett kommunikativt förhållningssätt. Det består av två delar, en del som beskriver hur konflikter eskalerar och vilka faktorer som påverkar konflikters utveckling. Den andra delen behandlar olika sätt att hantera konflikter. Vi har undersökt om det finns andra modeller för kommunikation som kan fungera i en polisiär kontext.

Examensarbetet har utförts på Sandvik Coromant i Gimo, GH. Produktionsenheten tillverkar hårdmetallskär för borrning, svarvning och fräsning. Arbetet syftar till att undersöka metoder för att minska material i arbete samt förkorta ledtiderna på enheten. För att uppnå en resurssnålare produktion undersöks möjligheterna för Lean Production och andra arbetssätt som anses ge förbättringar av flödet. Som grund till arbetet ligger intervjuer av personal på enheten i Gimo, litteraturstudier samt ett besök på ett företag inom Sandvik koncernen som lyckats med att minska material i arbete samt förkortat sina ledtider.

Background: The Stop rule for buying in property was introduced through 1976 years legislation and its formemost purpose was to prevent companies to acquire property that was useless for the company. Assets such as cars, boats and arts were of current interest. At the same time as this stop rule was introduced, another stop rule was also introduced and this was meant to work to forbid the partner to buy property from the close company to a price that would lead to sell at loss for the company. After a government decision (1999:2000, Abolished Stop rules) the close company is no longer living under this restriction since these two stop rules have been abolished since January 2001. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to investigate which criteria are the basis to judge whether the assets is to consider as useful or not for the close company.

This thesis sets out to investigate three questions, first, how the Belarusian democratization process has progressed since the country?s independence in 1991 to the year of 2006. Second, how the relationship between Russia and Belarus has progressed during this time and third, if and how Russia has affected the democratization process. The study has been conducted through qualitative method, mainly using books and articles as sources of information. It has been found that the democratization process in Belarus has evolved in a negative direction ever since the presidential election of 1994.

Today?s market for companies doing statistical surveys is a market consisting of mostly standardized methods where differentiating your company from the competitors is hard. Simultaneously both the society at large and technology in specific is under constant development and everything needs to be done at a faster pace with better precision. One of the companies on the market mentioned above is Tradewell Group AB. During 2008/2009 Tradewell has developed a new method for doing statistical surveys. The method named by Tradewell is called Cellphone Survey System, CSS and include using existing technology in a, for this market, unknown way.

In central Jönköping, on Munksjöns northern waterside a shopping centre will be built, on the block Atollen. The construction will begin in autumn of 2007 and will be finished according to plan in 2009. Atollens goal is to counteract the competition from external retailers and strengthen the retail trade in the city centre, leading to more attractive and competitive city centre.Atollen will not be a shopping centre in traditional style and design, it will be focused on shopping and experience. The shopping centre shall be a natural venue with a wide and exclusive store mix, concentrated against trend conscious customers. This will be created with the help of a futuristic design and architecture, with light, open and transparent spaces.

Alla patienter som genomgår någon typ av operation där man penetrerar huden har en ökad risk att drabbas av en postoperativ sårinfektion. Syftet var att utforska de preoperativa åtgärderna huddesinfektion och hårborttagning relaterat till uppkomsten av postoperativa sårinfektioner. Metoden var en systematisk litteratur studie där nio artiklar användes som underlag. Resultatet visade att klorhexidin reducerar bakterierna på huden, men ingen signifikant minskning av antalet postoperativa sårinfektioner kunde påvisas. A geographical position and its social, cultural and political context as well as climate and specific physical characteristics define the scope for a landscape design project. This has become clearer for us in our master project where we have made a Design Program for the outdoor environment of Wollo University in Dessie, Ethiopia and analysed and reflected on the work and process. The aim for the project has been to design an attractive and functional outdoor environment for the Campus, based on the inventories and the needs and wishes of clients and users. But, the aim has also been for us as landscape architect students to gain a greater knowledge about landscape architecture and the design process by position ourselves outside our usual context. The method has been open and seeking where the site, literature studies, dialogues with people and our own experiences from the field study in Ethiopia has influenced the work. Wollo University is situated 400 kilometers north of Addis Ababa, in a mountainous landscape. It faces problems of heavy rainfall during the summer, soil erosion, a lack of essential facilities, and is still a construction site with empty spaces in-between buildings and infrastructure.

Too much attention has been given to mainstream approaches in performance management and management accounting research, without taking in to account changes in the environment with the rapid growth of online retailing. This paper evaluates how and/or if performance management differs in online contexts by using a conceptual model developed by Ferreira et al (2009). The model and its components are tested on three multichannel- and six e-commerce businesses. The result and its analysis is commented on by two e - commerce experts. The result shows that the operation method of the models twelve components do not differ in terms of work methods in online and offline contexts.

This report is a master thesis performed by Adam Lundin at the company Sandvik Coromants production facility in Gimo. The work started in January 2013 and went on for the duration of 20 weeks, which is equivalent to 30 hp. The project was executed at the department GVR10. The scope of the project was to create a base for improvements in the purchasing process of direct material to the production. The background to the project was that the centralized purchasing department has gone through changes and decision was taken to decentralize the purchasing of direct material to Gimo.

This report is a thesis on requests from Sandvik Mining and Construction (SMC) in autumn of 2012. The goal of this work was to study the feasibility of creating and implementing an Equalized preventive maintenance program in SMC maintenance operations and reduce downtime for preventive maintenance (PM). To investigate whether this was possible, the authors studied the current procedures for the PM. The authors have collected and analyzed all relevant information within the maintenance department reporting system as well as through interviews determined whether it is practical to introduce a Equalized PM programs. The authors had also studied the possibilities to entrust part of the maintenance work to the operators of the machine cells.

SammanfattningIntro En ny sorts kirurgi är under utveckling där man använder ett endoskop vid ryggradsfrakturer. Det finns ett behov att simulera denna operation för att kunna träna kirurger. Därför har en prototyp av ett endoskop utvecklats till ett program som simulerar benborrning vid mekatronikavdelningen på institutionen för maskinteknik på Kungliga Tekniska högskolan.Systemutveckling Projektet innefattade konstruktion av ett endoskop (rör, verktyg, sensorer och ställdon) som styrs (mikrokontroll) och kommunicerar (RS232) med ett benborrningsprogram. Benborrningsprogrammet använder Virtual Reality och haptik som utökades för att inkludera endoskopet.Resultat Det nyutvecklade endoskopet kan nu användas för att simulera ett titthållsingrepp och betraktas tillsammans med verktygen som en haptisk enhet i benborrningsprogrammet. Detta medför att endoskopet visualiseras grafiskt och kan kollidera med benet.Slutsats Endoskopsimulering av ryggradsfrakturer kommer bli möjlig i en nära framtid och har stor potential men kräver vidare forskning..

Intresset för sömlösa stålrör med stora ytterdiametrar i förhållande till tunna väggtjocklekar har ökat tillsammans med att högre hållfasthet i olika stålsorter tillkommit. Detta gör det möjligt att tillverka lättare, billigare och mer materialeffektiva stålprodukter med samma eller högre hållfasthet som tidigare.Denna nya utvecklingsriktning medför förändringar och utmaningar i en av företaget Ovakos produktionslinor i Rörverk 5 Hofors, vilket de har behov av att samarbeta med maskinkonstruktionsföretaget BEKAB för att utvärdera och utveckla.I Ovakos produktionslina i Rörverk 5 finns en del av ett asselvalsverk som kallas för "förreducerare". Denna del av asselvalsverket ser Ovako ett stort intresse i att utvärdera och utveckla för att bättre anpassas till den nya utvecklingsriktningen.  En känd utmaning hos förreduceraren sen tidigare är att den från början är framtagen för att reducera ner ett kvalitetsproblem hos rörprodukterna som kallas för trattbildning. Projektet fördjupar sig därför inom trattbildning för att bättre förstå grunden till förreducerarens nuvarande design för att därefter genomföra en redesign av förreduceraren.I en nulägesanalys av nuvarande förreducerare framkommer ett flertal olika produktionsutrustningsproblem med tillhörande kvalitetsproblem hos rörprodukterna. Projektet väljer därmed att fokusera på de produktionsutrustningsproblem som ger störst effekt för förreduceraren om de löstes.

In the process of making carton boards into Skoghall Mill, are great quantities of water being contaminated. This water has to be treated before it is possible to release into the recipient, Kattfjorden. One of the contaminations that is important to extract from the wastewater, is organic carbon (measured as TOC-total organic carbon) because microbiological breakdown can lead to the bottom becomig free of oxygen.The wastewater treatment at Skoghall Mill is done through an external wastewater treatment that is located at the factory. The biological treatment (aerated lagoon) is a 140 000 m3 water pool with surface aerator, which is give oxygen to the water. In the lagoon live microorganisms who performs the biggest part of the TOC-reduction.One problem with the lagoon is that the treatment of TOC is considerably worse during wintertime than during summertime.

Det gäller att reducera antalet misstänkta för att till slut kunna ringa in den rätte gärningsmannen. Vi har fördjupat oss i hur brottsanalys och gärningsmanna-profilering används som ett komplement i utredningar av grövre brott.
