En enkätundersökning sändes ut till tandhygienister (n=79), som arbetade på samtliga Specialistkliniker för Parodontologi i Sverige under maj månad 2005. Syftet var att undersöka vilka faktorer som ansågs vara av betydelse för att uppnå goda och bestående resultat av munhygieninstruktioner hos patienter som behandlas för parodontit, samt vilka faktorer man ansåg försämrade möjligheten att uppnå framgångsrika resultat. Följande faktorer undersöktes; patientfaktorer, instruktionsmetoder, hjälpmedel vid munhygien och vårdmiljö. Resultatet visade att stressituationer hos patienten och återbud till bokade behandlingar var betydande faktorer som försvårade goda och framgångsrika resultat för att uppnå god munhygien. Extremt viktig faktor ansågs tandhälsoinformation vara, speciellt personlig sådan, där tandhygienistens engagemang och även vårdmiljön spelade stor roll.

Research and Development-costs constitutes an important part in contemporary companies. R&D are treated differently depending on their definition and how the historic value is decided. The main goal for this essay is to bring clarity to how the definiton of the term R&D is decided in accounting as well as in tax law. Another goal is to decide how the historic value is calculated. It is also interesting to examine under which circumstances the costs can be activated in the balance sheet, and under which circumstances deduction for the R&D-costs may be allowed.

Introduktion: En god tandhälsa innebär att tänderna och munhålan är fria från smärtaeller obehag, samt att det finns en god tuggfunktion. Tandhälsa är en del av denallmänna hälsan och bidrar till välbefinnande hos människor.Syftet med studien var att undersöka kunskaper om tandhälsa och munhygienvanorhos 16-19- åringar med invandrarbakgrund. Ett ytterligare syfte var att undersökaderas uppfattningar om munhälsa.Material och metod: Studien är empirisk och kvantitativ och utfördes medanvändning av en enkät. Datainsamlingen gjordes vid tre gymnasieskolor i södraSverige. Två klasser från varje gymnasieskola valdes ut som hade högt antal elevermed invandrarbakgrund.

Abstract One of the essential conditions of the co-operating within the EU is that homogeneous conditions of competition prevail within the entire common market. The competition policy in the EU should guarantee that the competition is not distorted in a way that would prevent or create difficulties for the free mobility of goods and services between the member countries. The policy of competition should also guarantee that no new protectionistic obstacles will be formed, regardless of if it is being done by actions taken by member countries or as a result of actions taken by companies in order to set limits to the competition. Companies putting to an abuse their dominant position on the common market, or on a substantial part of it, is irreconcilable with the idea of the common market in case it could interfere with the trading between member countries, and is thus prohibited. The purpose of this dissertation is to describe the collective dominance from the view of the commission's interpretation of the practice of article 82 in the EG - treaty.

Groupon is a popular group-buying website where they act as an intermediary between buyers and sellers. The company has grown rapidly and was established in Sweden in the year of 2010. The aim of this study is to investigate if businesses that have been marketed in Stockholm and that have been co-operating with Groupon have been affected in terms of customer loyalty and profitability. Furthermore the study also examines consumer?s opinions, purchase behavior and loyalty against Groupons business partners.

In today?s world urbanisation is an on-going process, cities are growing and becoming denser, and places for recreation gain value. Therefore, urban parks are much appreciated by people living in cities. When the first public parks where planned, their main function was to increase health, hygiene, education and social life. In the middle of 19th century the meaning of public parks to people?s wellbeing gained attention and parks were planned to provide space for lively activities. This is the project of making a stage design for Batboy ? the musical, a cooporation with a network of musical artists. The aim of the project was to create a space on stage that strengthens and expands the experience of the story told, and find design solutions that give an extra dimension to the story. The prerequisites for my work were partly defined from the produc¬tion, as were my limitations. In the cast of ten artists some were to play more than one role, often one of the opposite sex.

Tidigare studier har gett stöd för att igenkänningsminnet understöds av minst två processer: erinring (recollection) och familjaritet. Detta testades i två beteendeexperiment, inom ett Remember/Know paradigm (experiment 1) och ett Ja/Nej paradigm där Receiver - Operating Characteristics (ROC) beräknades (2). I ett påföljande Event - related potentials (ERP) experiment undersöktes vidare distinktionen mellan minnesprocesserna under återvinning. Deltagarna studerade namn med två former av pre - experimentell familjaritet, namnfrekvens och celebritet, vilka kombinerades till ortogonala variationer av dimensionerna. Frekvens operationaliserades som antalet träffar i den nationella telefonkatalogen och celebritet som antalet träffar i massmediala webbsidor.

SAMMANFATTNING Sedan lång tid tillbaka har hangrisar kastrerats för att undvika ornelukt, en fekal-urinliknande doft som uppkommer i galtkött vid tillagning. Kastrationen är smärtsam och forskarna letar nu efter alternativ till det kirurgiska ingreppet. I denna litteraturstudie har jag valt att fokusera på hur man kan hindra produktion och upplagring av orneluktsämnena androstenon och skatol i subkutant fett genom att förändra grisarnas miljö. Stallhygienen har visat sig ha betydelse för ornelukt där smutsiga grisar har betydligt högre halter skatol i subkutant fett än rena grisar. Även ljus och temperatur har en inverkan på orneluktsämnena. Höga temperaturer och korta ljusperioder ger ökade halter av androstenon och skatol.

Syfte: Att beskriva följsamheten av handhygien hos hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal och hur följsamheten av handhygien hos sjuksköterskor kan ökas. Metod: Litteraturstudie med beskrivande design. Data samlades in från databaserna PubMed och Cinahl. Resultatet baserades på 12 artiklar. Resultat: Den generella följsamheten av handhygien hos hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal var låg men sjuksköterskor tenderade att ha en något högre följsamhet än övrig personal.

This work is about euthanasia and how to use it on horses, dogs and cats. A description for each animal is done, about when it is time, why, which methods can be used and who is allowed to use them, how and where it shall be done. The methods we have concentrated on are: - Chemical destruction and the most common drugs for euthanatize horses, dogs and cats. - Physical disruption of the brain activity by a captive bolt, only for horses. The captive bolt only makes the horse unconscious and must always be followed by cutting off the vena jugularis. Then the horse dies because of loss of blood. No matter which method used for euthanizing, the animal must be declared to be dead by the operator before other measures. The testing criteria for death: muscle relaxation and cyanosis, cessation of reflex activity and pupillary dilatation, cessation of respiratory activity and cessation of all cardiac activity.

Studiens syfte var att beskriva hemodialyssjuksköterskors kunskaper om fosfater, livsmedel med ett högt fosfatinnehåll samt förmågan att omsätta den kunskapen till ett dagsintag. Metod: Designen var deskriptiv med komparativa och korrelerande inslag. En egenkonstruerad enkät användes med kunskapsfrågor som var indelad i tre teman; kroppen, livsmedel och dagsintag. Totalt 19 hemodialysenheter besvarade enkäten vilket gav en undersökningsgrupp med 181 respondenter. Statistiska uträkningar gjordes för sammanställande av antal poäng per tema och korrelation mellan kön, ålder, antal år som sjuksköterska och antal år inom dialys.

This work is about silage contaminated with slugs (Arion lusitanicus). The hypothesis was: Do slugs affect the nutritional value and hygiene quality of silage? During the winter season 2007/2008 silages were discarded in big amounts due to the contamination of slugs. Both the Swedish Farmer Association (LRF) and the National Veterinary Institute (SVA) received phone calls from farmers and animal owners about contaminated silage. The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and SVA decided to initiate this project as a master thesis.
