In this report we make an attempt to analyze where Swedish Twitter users believe the line is drawn between the private and public. Our goal is to find out what the factors are that determine what they decide to write on Twitter and what not. A survey was sent out and spread amongst Swedish Twitter users during one week to provide us with the data to answer our question formulation. The results do not draw an exact line between the private and the public but it nevertheless provides us with an idea of what users think is inappropriate to write about on Twitter. Through the study we found out that our respondents believe that it is inappropriate to write private information about others than them self.

This report describes a synchronous machine model with magnetic saturation in d-axis, neutralconnection and electrical exciter interface for the transient simulator PSCAD/EMTDC. It hasbeen designed and verified in comparison to the regular machine model in EMTDC.The performance of the model is very good when incorporating a linear as well as a saturatedmagnetising inductance. The dynamic deviation is only thousandths to ten thousandths perunit. By using a cubic interpolation of the saturation curve, the model gives a good representationof the saturation effect. The Open source code implementation of the synchronousmachine model gives the possibility to easily adapt the model to specific requirements.The derived model makes it possible to simulate a synchronous machine with its excitationsystems, e.g.

The purpose of this work is to investigate what students in grades 4 to 6 at a school in southern Värmland know about cyber bullying. It also aims to find out whether there is or has been any cyber bullying in grades 4-6 at the school. The issues at work are what do cyber bullying? Is there a difference between cyber bullying in the different grades? (4-6 grades) Are their differences in cyber bullying when it comes to sex? And there is no connection between the mental bullying and cyber bullying? The material for the work was collected through a questionnaire survey conducted with students in grades 4 to 6. The survey was conducted anonymously, they were asked what sex it was and what grade they are in.

AbstractThe aim: The aim of the study was to describe what women are most satisfied with in maternity care and if women´s childbirth experiences can be described by means of the QPP-I, who contains 32 statements related to maternity care. Design: The study is part of a national cross-sectional study which lasted for two weeks in Sweden in 2007. This paper analyzes one of the two questions with Open answers, which reads: "What was the best with maternity care??. Results: The results showed that out of a total of 735 responses 717 could be placed in the existing instrument QPP-I.

This essay is about how islam is illustrated in textbooks of History in Sweden during 1980-s and first decade in 2000.  This study does not aim to give all answers about those tendencies, but it will lift up and discuss this issues.The essay has two questions to answers. Under de senaste åren har webbplatser blivit allt mer komplexa och informationen som ska visas och hanteras allt större. För att underlätta hantering och administration av dessa system har många CMS-system vuxit fram. Dessa system kan skilja sig mycket beträffande pris och funktionalitet, allt från mindre Open source system till stora komplexa kommersiellt drivna system. Detta arbete bygger på att skräddarsy ett CMS-system för administration och hantering av innehåll på diverse artist sidor, som hanteras av ett medieföretag. Systemet använder tekniker som JavaScript, PHP, MySQL som grund för dess uppbyggnad.

Detta examensarbete utförs i sammarbete med ett företag som tillverkar produkter i polyuretan. Syftet med en av dessa produkter är att skydda kablar mot böjande samt axiella krafter. Företaget tillverkar idag denna produkt genom att tillföra gjutmassan underifrån, vilket leder till att gjutmassan trycks upp i konstruktionen. Detta är för att luftbubblor inte ska uppstå. Företaget har dock problem när det gäller tillverkning av produkten då den innehåller mer än tre ton gjutmassa.

Lantmäteriet i Gävle är ett företag som hanterar mycket stora datamängder i databaser och det är därför av stor vikt att de har ett väl fungerande databashanteringssystem. De använder sig av databashanteringssystemet Oracle, men intresse för alternativ finns. Lantmäteriet önskade därför en rapport som jämför deras nuvarande databashanteringssystem Oracle 10.2.0.3 med möjliga alternativ. De databashanteringssystem som i denna rapport jämfördes med Oracle är Microsoft SQL Server 2005 och MySQL 5.1. Aspekter som studerades är prestanda, kostnad, säkerhet, kompatibilitet, tillgänglighet och support.

This is a qualitative case study of young womens? experiences of blogging about One Direction on the social media/microblogging platform Tumblr. The aim of this study was to find out what fan blogging is and why fans blog. We did this by creating an account on Tumblr where we invited young women between the ages of 16?29, who had active fan blogs dedicated to One Direction, to answer an Open-ended questionnaire.

Rural development in Southeast Sweden- three different views and their consequences for the agrarian landscapeThis paper deals with the future for the rural areas of the southeast province of Östergötland, Sweden. The aim is to unveil, analyse and compare different views on rural development and their consequences for the agrarian landscape. Three views are considered, namely that of the different levels of Governments and their departments, that of the farmers and landowners and, finaly, that of the inhabitants of the rural areas.Differences in the views upon rural development is reflected in differences in the ways of thinking of landscapes. Is the Open, and actively cultivated, landscape the ideal for all? Who is to decide what needs or ought to be done to achieve certain desired values and/or goals ? and who pays for it? The one thing that is, and should be, clear from the beginning is that all development, whether positive or negative in an area, bears consequences for the landscape.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the reason behind thedecision to Open libraries at subway stations in Stockholm.The theoretical framework for the study is Douglas Raber´s threeideologies, social activism, conservative response and populistinitiative. The study includes interviews with librarians and apolitician responsible for the service and documents with plansfor the Public Libraries development during the period. Theempirical material was examined with an idea- and ideologicalanalysis.The conclusion is that the concept of the subway libraries consistsof a combination of the three ideologies but the most evidentare those of populist initiative and social activism.The reason for Opening libraries at subway stations is to makethe libraries more easily accessible, to attract new visitors and tomake the Public Libraries service more visible. These smalllibraries have a function as a market place for the Public Librariesand as a meeting place in the city..

The main purpose with this study is to describe teachers? use of textbooks and other teaching materials in upper secondary school (gymnasiet) in Sweden, and to discuss the use according to school subject and teacher style. Data was collected in two different ways. At first twenty classroom observations were made during lectures concerning the subjects Swedish (mothertounge), English (foreign language) and religion. Then four Open interviews were carried out with the teaching teachers.

A philanthropist needs long arms- An investigation on how to illustrate difficult wordsThe feeling of not understanding all the words that I read made me initiate the project of investigating the capacity of drawn images to increase the understanding of difficult words. I?ve been working with my own personal understanding and skills in illustration.My aim was to reflect on the function, composition and manner of my illustrations. I wanted the images to be clear enough to explain and function as a help for memorizing the words but also Open enough to give them a new dimension. One of my conclutions is that my way of changing the original shape of a body in my drawings, by giving it new functions such as longer arms, helps me to explain the words clearer and deeper.

Survey´s purpose is to illustrate why and how the process happened, when the seferades had to move from Spain in the last years of 15th century to the Ottoman Empire and how the authors have discussed this. How the seferades were treated by the Turks and the sultan, how teh Jews taught the people in the empire, to use the new innovations. The different results showed that the ottomans also gave great chances to the Jews and they became a powerful group of the palace in the empire.The results also showed that the authors are divided into two groups, one group defending the sultans act, and the others are not. The main reason for the ottomans to Open their doors for the seferades was to take advantage of their konwledge. The reason for the attack by the western authors on the sultan´s decisions, are more complex and needs to be explained.
