Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att ta fram badrumsinteriör för företaget Space Interiör innehållande kommod, spegelskåp och högskåp eller motsvarande. Bakgrunden till projektet har varit att uppdragsgivaren önskat att utveckla sitt sortiment för badrumsinredning. Målgruppen för projektet var enligt angivelse personer under 35 år boendes på en yta mindre än 50 m2. Nyckelorden från företaget var smart förvaring samt innovation.Den teori som behandlats i projektet rör sådan som varit relevant för utvecklingsarbetet så som ergonomi, material och dess underhåll, standarder samt det som påverkar det estetiska uttrycket. Arbetet har varit målstyrt och har därför utförts enligt en stage-gate-modell som lämpar sig för denna typ av projekt.

This project practise methods used in the interaction design discipline to develop a concept related to the Swedish Guinness World Records Magazine. This project is a challenge to accommodate both the users? and client?s needs. We focus on interaction and the experience, which is acquired through the use itself, and how to connect it to a theme from a client. The aim of this project is to create a meeting place for children where they can interact with technology.

The purpose of this study is to examine secondary teachers' perceptions of conflict, conflict management, conflict prevention and conflict communication. In addition to theory, I conducted individual interviews and focus group discussions. Most teachers have a common view and argues that a conflict occurs when two or more individuals do not agree on something. Typical conflicts are about grades, teachers' changing professional roles and cellphones in the classroom. In my view, it seems as if the mobile phone has taken over the core conflict that caps created for some 10 years ago, functioning now as the dominant symbol in an ongoing development process providing space for meeting and dealing with conflicts in a constructive way..

Syftet med det här arbetet har varit att välja ut och integrera en lämplig fysikmotor med öppen källkod i simuleringsprogramvaran EWSim på Totalförsvarets Forskningsinstitut (FOI). EWSim är ett ramverk för duellsimulering i olika telekrigsscenarier. Teorin bakom fysikmotorer och några vanliga tekniker för fysiksimulering har beskrivits kortfattat. Tre fysikmotorer har presenterats och utvärderats med avseende på lämplighet för integrering i EWSim.Fysikmotorn Bullet valdes ut och integrerades i simuleringsprogramvaran. En av de huvudsakliga slutsatserna av arbetet är att fysikmotorer som Bullet mest kan bidra med ökad visuell realism i EWSim.

The purpose of this study is to examine the physical space of children?s libraries in Sweden, and also to see which influences there are in the literature about the same subject. What ideas exist in the literature about the physical room of children?s libraries? We have studied how and if these influences can be seen in a selected number of children?s libraries. Our theoretical perspective is based on Anthony Gidden?s theory of construction.

Motivation inom matematikämnet anses av många forskare vara betydelsefullt för kunskapsutvecklingen. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur några lärare i årskurs 1-3 arbetar för att motivera elever som upplever matematiken svår eller ointressant. Datainsamlingen skedde genom fyra intervjuer med verksamma lärare som representerade fyra skolor i två kommuner. De flesta av de intervjuade lärarna menar på att de själva har en väldigt viktig roll i klassrummet för att eleverna ska känna sig motiverade, och att undervisningen bör vara varierad. Ur lärarintervjuerna framkom det dock att ointresse för matematik är mycket ovanligt i grundskolans tidigare årskurser men att arbetet med att motivera elever som finner matematiken svår är ständigt pågående..

The purpose of this paper is to bring a British mural painting that originated in England in the 1920?s into the limelight and introduce it to the Swedish public. The mural was commissioned by Tate Gallery, currently known as Tate Britain. The work of art was designed for a semi-public space as a decoration in the Refreshment Room of the gallery, located in the basement where there was little natural light. The artist, a young British man named Rex Whistler, was transformed from being a student at an art school into a celebrated professional artist by this piece of art.

This study investigates the teaching strategies of four teachers, and determines which teaching strategies give better results in mathematics at the middle school level? Result here means the knowledge level of the students. The result has been measured through leave out a mathematical test, which I leave out designed. Teaching strategies have been assessed through interviews with teachers and observations of their lessons.My study shows that to go through the lessons thoroughly in the traditional way, and open discussions with the whole class are best for students achievements.The information available, however, is too limited to draw some general conclusions, but my study can be seen more like a counter-example to the general praxis that is short lectures and individual assessment with one to one communication when teaching mathematics..

The thesis is about exploring possibilities for developing a standardised system solution for micro businesses, this since most of the micro business lack proper system solutions, a contributing factor of this is price and also incompatibility between the solution and the business itself. The system solutions we will refer to are solutions which task is to cover the most important needs that a micro business might have on their system. The main goal with this research is to see if this is possible, and if so, how the developers should think to take it further. We chose to do this by identifying the most significant of needs a micro business has when it comes to this type of system solution.In this thesis we will present three needs which were evaluated and brought forth through the analyses of various interviews and observations we had done during the study. The interviews took place at respective company with their employees and consisted both closed and open questions with our main focus on the open questions because we wanted to obtain as much information from the respondents as possible from several viewpoints.

I den här uppsatsen undersöks bokträdets (Fagus sylvatica) förmåga att skapa olika sorters platser och rum. Detta sker dels genom en litteraturstudie och dels genom analyser av fyra platser i Alnarp Västerskogs bokbestånd. Två olika sorters analyser har gjorts; en känslostyrd med skiss och prosa som verktyg; samt en begreppsstyrd med utgångspunkt i litteraturstudien och med fotografi som verktyg. Förhoppningen har varit att på så sätt få en bredare bild av platserna och upplevelsen av dem. Purpose: Exploring the relatively new technology of convolution reverb, to gather knowledge on its limitations when used practically in the production of pop music, and from these findings to learn about applications in other performing arts and sound design. Methodology: This is a case study of creating convolution reverb by doing impulse responses (IR) and then applying them to studio recorded pop music. The empirical data consists of the final song results, notes and journals from during the process and the comparisons, as well as established litterature on acoustics, psycho-acoustics and music production. Results: Convolution reverb can widely and freely be used in the production of music and other audio-based art forms, since our study shows that the result of a well-made impulse response from a particular room is indistinguishable from music that is actually played and recorded in the same space..

The purpose of this phenomenological study was to facilitate increased understanding of immigrant's experience of the meaning of work with focus on how that meaning can change as a part of the acculturation process. Participants (n=13) from eight countries answered an open question. The responses were analysed using Meaning Construction Analysis (MCA)-Minerva and the individual's life-worlds were made visible and discussed. The themes meaning of work, work, unemployment, education, adjustment, immigration, Sweden/country of origin, dreams, possibilities and self appeared as jointly shared important aspects. The results indicate that work is of central importance, and although the individuals share certain experiences, the meaning associated with the themes is of a complex and individual nature..
