I mitt examensarbete har jag valt att försöka undersöka i vilken utsträckning det i en hemmastudio är möjligt att återskapa ett sound från en professionell inspelningsstudio. Denna fråga är intressant för mig då jag fastnade för hur en produktion lät i ljudbilden. Dels instrumentuppsättningen och deras rytmisering men främst soundet på helheten i mixen. Det kändes luftigt, stort och brett i lyssningsspektrat trots att det inte var så mycket instrument. Jag har alltid velat utveckla min förmåga att skapa och producera musik men har inte tillgång till så mycket kvalitativ utrustning.

Dust, our smallest common denominator                                                                                                                                                                 Charlotta Lindvall ABSTRACT  I find it fascinating to know that we are all made of the same material as the stars and that everything is connected to each other and in a constant movement and transformation, a recycle of material. We are all made of stardust. In fact all life is sprung out of dust.In my essay I investigate the dust and ask the question if there are any traces in the dust. I look at the history of the dust and how it has affected us and our world through the decades. What does this small and airy but oh so unappreciated dust tell us? Why do we want to get rid of it? Is it possible to find a sense of belonging in the big context by investigating the dust and its origin and could I transform such a low material as dust into something magic that makes people reflect on our origin and belonging and how everything is connected? In my work I use dust as a material and in the essay I compare my work with other artists who have worked with dust as a material.Dust is everywhere because its source is from everything.

Främst behandlas den estetiska dimensionen av begreppet men av stort intresse är också huruvida filmmediet rymmer en mediespecifik sublimitet. Fyra tänkare ligger till grund för förståelsen av begreppet så som det formuleras i den teoretiska inledningen av uppsatsen ? Longinos, Edmund Burke, Immanuel Kant samt Jean-François Lyotard och varje tänkare erbjuder en unik förståelse av begreppet. Detta ger ett mångfacetterat begrepp som kommer att prägla det metodologiska förfarandet.

The purpose of this study was to develop recommendations for using more efficient lighting and better graphic design to create a more uniform structure in the exhibition hall ?Road to the past? in Jönköping County Museum by answering the following questions at issue:1) How are the objects in the exhibition hall ?Road to the past? exposed today?2) How can you use lighting and graphic design to create structure in the exhibition and strengthen the expression in the exhibition?Our work is based on observations and open group interviews. We observed the exhibition hall ?Road to the past? during day and evening. In the same hall, we observed a guided tour that we followed up with open group interviews.

Wooden joist slabs is a common type of floor in residential buildings. Higher demand and production of residential buildings increases the possibilities of profiting by optimizing the system of joists in a variety of areas. Spring and deflection is something most people can relate to since it?s not that uncommon to hear furniture rattle when you walk over a wooden floor. To remove the presence of those kinds of vibrations the system of joists have to be made stiffer than the standard joist construction that is used in today?s constructions.

Everyday life mobility of elderly people ? opportunities, restrictions and sustainable urban visions aim to examine and describe elderly people?s movement patterns, their opportunities and restrictions of reaching high mobility and accessibility, and their attitude towards various sustainable urban visions. This paper is based on an approach of time-space geography as it covers the topic of movements in time-space, explained and developed using the concepts of mobility and accessibility. To examine elderly people?s attitude towards sustainable urban visions, this paper also takes approach on theories such as New Urbanism, mixed-use and the compact city.The method used in the study is an interweaving of a time geographic diary and qualitative interviews, where the respondents are six retired people between 68 and 77 years old living in Gothenburg city.

Introduction: Parents have been shown to be of great importance in preventing cannabis use among adolescents. Parenting practices such as control, open communication and good relations within the family have shown to be protective factors, whereas lack of communication and weak social and emotional support have been associated with an increased risk for cannabis use among adolescents. Aim: The aim of the study has been to explore parents? perceptions about their own importance in preventing cannabis use among adolescents. Method: A qualitative method consisting of focus group interviews has been used to fulfill the aim.

The fertility of dairy cows is of great importance in order to maintain high production. The decline in fertility of dairy cows the latest decades can have several explanations. The large emphasis on high yielding cows and the negative genetic correlation between milk production and fertility traits could be one of the main factors for impaired fertility. To find heats and inseminate the cow at the right time is crucial to receive high conception rate. Delaval has, in corporation with FOSS, developed Herd Navigator which is a management program that measure four biological parameters in the milk; progesterone, betahydroxybutyrate, lactate dehydrogenase and urea.

This project is about color and light and how it affects the atmosphere in the city. I choseto look closer into the central parts of the city, a place where I often feel a lack of lightand color, especially during the winter season. In the beginning of the project I made ananalysis of how intense colors are used in the city and how we can use color as a tool tocreate effectful spaces. Further into the project I chose to look closer into the effects thatare made by the facades, how the light from the windows affects the room outside when the dark falls. The task of this project was to build an computer processing system for pressureregulation, in which the pressure loss over the open hydrolicvalve should be kept as low as possible. By using an cross connected proportional directional valve the valve problem could be solved. The control- and regulationproblem for the pressureregulation system was solved by using the DAQ- card NI6035E from National Instruments and the computerprogram Automatic Pressure Control 1.0 which has been software developed and written in Visual Basic. The final result showed that correct processvarible was obtained in 0,5 seconds, when the setpoint was changed in the testarea 0 - 2,5 MPa..

In this paper we have studied possible future uses for Additive Manufacturing (commonly referred to as 3D-printing) in Space. More specifically we have sought to establish how Additive Manufacturing can be used to construct structures on the Moon. Our studies have shown that Additive Manufacturing has great potential for establishing colonies on not only the Moon, but perhaps even further away from our home planet. With Contour Crafting-technology in combination with ISRU (In Situ Resource Utilization) we could, with material already present in the sediment layers of the Moon, construct advanced structures without having to transfer any extra material from Earth.
