ABSTRACTInternet use in Sweden is among the highest in Europe. The increased availability and use of the Internet has changed people's behavior patterns. This, in turn, has made many companies choose to offer their products and services online. This means that there is less personal contact and that customer relations can be described as having gone from face-to-face to face-to-screen. Swedish banks have come a long way in terms of adapting its operations to customers? demand in a global environment that is digitizing at a rapid pace.

På bara ett par år har elektronisk handel potential att radikalt förändra de ekonomiska och sociala förhållanden i samhället. Sit, Eat, Drink, Talk, Laugh ? Dining and Mixed Media, is an exploratory study of qualities in everyday life and challenges people to enjoy the qualities of mundanity. Seeking inspiration in ethnographic studies, field work was conducted in domestic settings, returning an extensive body of material to work from. The study challenges people to absorb the moment, reflect and enjoy, rather than pacing through a lifetime, with a constant focus on the future instead of the present. This work takes a starting point in food and dining as a social activity, where interactive sound and a reference to online social media is explored through two interventions.

The main purpose of this master thesis is to give the reader a picture of the experience of art and of its room in the public libraries, but above all to examine the phenomenon temporary art exhibitions in public libraries in the county of Östergötland. The study is limited to a specific activity of art, namely temporary exhibitions in libraries. Geographically, the investigation is limited to the public libraries and their branch libraries in Östergötland. Time concentrates on the present situation in 2000 and 2001. Methodologies are partly observations in some libraries, partly qualitative questionnaires to all primary libraries and their affiliates in Östergötland.

The world had already suffered enough from the four years of war that had been fought, thus the victims of the flu would be honored but would soon fade in to oblivion. When you investigate deeper you get the picture that the national average don´t do Wermland and its cities or rural areas any justice when a large variations seems to occur within regional areas.

The aim of this study is to review the commercial quail production for eggs and meat in the world. Another aim is to review the potential for increased production. Globally the quail production is very small, except in China where it is the second largest poultry industry. The production globally is small despite the quail's rapid growth, early sexual maturity and its high feed efficiency. The quail is also used as a laboratory animal and can be reared to be released in hunting areas.

The aim of this essay was to study how the communities work with groups as a support to children with addictive parents, and to increase my understanding of the groups meaning as a support. My main questions have been: How are the child group sessions formed? What kind of experience does the group leaders have regarding their functions? The study is a qualitative investigation that has been turned to prefessionals in the subject area and is based on 6 interviews and secondary sources. The material has been analyzed from a narrativ theory as well as a salutogent perspective. Research shows that children growing up in an addictive environment often have decreased psychological health and are overrepresented amongst those who developed a future addiction.

Internet and digital technology has changed the way we live our lives. As individuals we've found new ways to communicate, educate and experience. But what's the effect on B2B marketing? Previous research presents transactional benefits such as lower costs and easier access to information, but there is limited research done on more complex and long term relationships as well as on modern digital tools. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate whether a deeper long term B2B relationship can be created and nurtured using digital tools for communication, and if so, how these tools and processes can be described and understood.

Bakgrund: Förmågan att attrahera kompetent personal har blivit allt viktigare på de konkurrentutsatta arbetsmarknaderna. Ett sätt att marknadsföra företag som arbetsgivare och därmed locka till sig arbetskraft är genom användningen av företagets egen webbsida.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva hur ett företag använder den egna webbsidan för att tillgodose behovet av att attrahera kompetent personal. Vidare beskrivs marknadsföringens roll i denna process.Teori: Uppsatsen bygger på teorier kring attraktionsfasen i rekrytering, kopplingen mellan marknadsföring och rekrytering, viktiga aspekter i skapandet av virtuella rekryteringsmiljöer samt teorier kring kvantitet och kvalitet i kandidatbasen.Metod: Uppsatsens empiriska undersökning baserar på en kvalitativ ansats. Tre intervjuer har genomförts hos Fazer i Finland.Slutsats: Det huvudsakliga sättet Fazer använder den egna webbsidan för rekrytering är i form av rekryteringsportalen ?Gott arbete ger mersmak?.

This paper examines the relationship between the experienced quality in the offering of a brand, emotional attachment and consumer commitment. The study aim to explore several dimensions of the experienced quality in the offering of a brand. Further we examine two conceptualizations of emotional attachment - Brand Attachment and Brand Love - and intend to declare the two of being two separate phenomena. We then conduct a relationship-based analysis wherein the mediating ability of Brand Attachment and Brand Love, between the experienced quality in the offering of a brand and consumer commitment, is examined. Therefore we conduct a focused quantitative study, wherein 171 customers of the fashion retailer H&M have responded to a comprehensive survey both online and in-store, to examine this fun-damental relationship and its components.
Stegintegrering- billigt och bra? : Hur stegintegrering i Moderna språk på gymnasieskolan påverkar inlärningen och undervisningen ur ett lärar- och elevperspektiv
This essay discusses the subjective observations and opinions on the Swedish concept of stegintegrering, a form of mixed grade education in the subject modern languages at upper secondary level. I interviewed two headmasters, four teachers and conducted an online survey with 39 pupils in order to find out what effects the concept of stegintegrering has on teaching and learning from a teacher and pupil perspective. Due to the extent of this essay no general conclusions can be made but certain connections could be found. For once there was a connection between group size and the possibility of teaching each group separately during one lesson per week and the attitude of the concerned teachers and pupils towards stegintegrering. While both headmasters and teachers claimed that the cooperation between pupils across all levels was the main purpose of stegintegrering as it helps their learning and understanding, my study showed that many pupils did not really want to cooperate and that teachers often find it hard to construct tasks that stimulate every group.

This study investigates how tagging is being used in a new way when members of a Swedish dating site get to tag themselves in an act of self-presentation with the aim of meeting new people. In the study seven members of the dating site Mazily were interviewed about their self-presentation, tagging and identity formation there. The questions concerned how they formed their own tags, but also how they interpret and use other members' tags in their search for a potential partner.I have been using queer theories for this study, in order to find out what kind of norms and structures that lie behind and affect the members' behaviour on the website. My study finds that the interviewed members to a high degree reflect about both their own and other members tagging and self-presentations. Although they spend quite some time trying to analyse other people on the website they have a great sense of understanding that a person may give two very different impressions on the site and offline.

In this thesis the author has through a discourse analysis examined how the concept of culture has been used in the discourse of integration during the late twentieth century in Sweden. The author argues that the integration of immigrating people has been the fundamental method in creating Swedish citizens within the immigrant communities. In this discourse the concept ?culture? has been a constant recurring way of explaining differences among the immigrants towards ?ethnic swedes? and Swedish way of life and establishing difficulties in performing integration outside of governmental policies. BookShark ? En praktisk studie i webbutveckling
Rapportens syfte är att beskriva det tekniska och teoretiska framtagandet av e-boktjänsten BookShark. Den innehåller bland annat styrkanden rörande tjänstens hållbarhet på marknaden samt hur teamet har förhållit sig till arbetsmetoden Scrum. Målgruppen för BookShark är kunder som vill ha möjligheten att handla böcker online på ett smidigt sätt till ett förmånligt pris. Utifrån detta har teamet arbetat enligt visionen Vår vision är att revolutionera sättet människor konsumerar böcker på genom att göra böcker billigare och mer lättillgängliga för alla.Den tekniska utvecklingen har delats upp i fyra lager: Databas, Databasinterface, Serverskript och Front-end. Teammedlemmarna har delat upp ansvarområden inom dessa fyra lager, men samtidigt haft en kontinuerlig uppdatering om varandras arbete för att på så sätt ha koll på respektive teammedlems arbete.BookShark har uppnått den kravspecifikation som sattes av teamet i projektets början, och även om viss utveckling fortfarande skulle krävas för en kommersiell lansering har önskad funktionalitet uppnåtts..
