Från elev till student : En jämförelse av tre högskolors studentrekrytering och gymnasieelevers perspektiv
Background: The competition is getting harder between the universities. To reach the high school students and discover which means of contact they prefer and how they perceive student recruitment are important issues in order to succeed in marketing strategies.Purpose: The purpose with our report is to investigate, analyze and compare the student recruitment in three universities and investigate how the high school students want to be contacted. Then we compare to see if they think alike.Method: We have done a qualitative study and chosen to use focus group interviews for the high school students and interviews for the universities to collect our empirical data. We have compared the empirical data and analyzed it with communication processes and marketing communication as theoretical grounds.Result: All of the universities work approximately the same way with their student recruitment. They put a large effort in the Internet and social networks as well as the personal contact.

The development and production of these have occurred in the iterative processes with relevant theories as a basis. The theories include user-centered work processes, usability, design principles, interaction design, design patterns and web-compatible solutions. The report documents and discusses the work which is divided into different phases. .
Att uppnå varumärkesframgång genom dagens designtrender
The purpose of this thesis is to examine how investments are justified in the Swedish data center industry, with a focus on cooling equipment. This is achieved through semi-structured interviews with 20 different interviewees. These interviewees represent different facets of the industry and facilitate an understanding of which factors, such as: investment costs, operating costs, reliability, environmental impact and the influence of external and internal actors, come into play and to which degree they impact the investment decision-making process. The results show that primarily low operating cost in the form of low energy consumption is the driving factor when it comes to the procurement of new equipment. A lower environmental impact is a positive side-effect of lower energy consumption.
E-shop 'til you drop : En studie över e-handlares anpassning av den fysiska köpprocessen till ett virtuellt sammanhang
Denna magisteruppsats behandlar e-handlares anpassning av en fysisk köpprocess till en virtuell. Med detta syftar vi mer specifikt på e-handlare av modekläder som i högre grad är beroende av en fysisk köpprocess. Vår frågeställning var således: Hur gör e-handlare inom klädbranschen för att anpassa den fysiska köpprocessen till ett virtuellt sammanhang? För att undersöka detta använde vi oss av Overbys artikel "Process Virtualization Theory and the Impact of Information Technology" från 2008 där han beskriver fyra olika faktorer som spelar in vid ett köp: sinnliga krav, förhållandekrav, synkroniseringskrav samt identifikations- och kontrollkrav. Denna teori har byggde vi även upp med stöd från Belks (1975) så kallade situationsvariabler samt allmän teori om Internetmarknadsföring.

All games that support any form of play across networks is in one way or another affected by the delay, or "ping", that occurs from the time it takes for information to travel over the wires. Not only does it take time, it varies depending on how far away the connected partner is and the current status of the network you are on. A rhetorical analysis of the educational interactive film ?Riskprofilen?, produced by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (Swedish: Myndigheten för Samhällsskydd och Beredskap). This essay uses the theories and methods of Procedural Rhetoric, as described by Professor Ian Bogost, and Visual Rhetoric, as described by Professor Brigitte Mral to analyse the interactive and visual component parts of the artefact, and compares them to the intended purposes of the artefact as stated by documents pertaining to its creation, found to be those of educating the public; marketing the agency; and driving traffic to its webpage. The artefact is through analysis found to fulfil the purposes of marketing the Agency and of likely increasing traffic to the website upon which it is hosted. Regarding the primary, educational purpose this analysis finds that the artefact does not teach a user the accident-avoidance strategies it claims to do, but is dependent upon further materials..

Retail marketing is a field with many different enbranchements. Some of these can be considered relatively well explored, while the lack of knowledge concerning others is almost total. For example, the existing knowledge regardng the possible impact that non-musical sound can have on the customer can be considered non-existent. With this in mind, the intention with the thesis was to closer investigate how non-musical sound can influence the customer's decision process and attitude in and to a grocery store. The authors started out with theories on associative networks and automatic processing.

The purpose of this study has been to create a better understading of how face?to?face activities in course´s impacts on the experience of interaction within a course.More specifically, the study puts the student'?s perception of how mandatory face?to?face activities affect and are affected by the interaction in focus. This is done by the following research questions. What affects the student'?s perception of face?to?face activities? Which interaction dimension affects the factors that influence students perception of the activities? Which interaction dimension is influenced by the student'?s perception of the activities?The theoretical base is Wagner'?s (1994) three types of interaction and Andersson´s(2003) theory of interaction dimensions.
Utnyttjande av barn för sexuell posering : En kvantitativ studie om skillnader och likheter mellan förövare som agerar onlineoch förövare som agerar offline
Utnyttjande av barn för sexuell posering är ett brott som begås både på ochutanför internet. Enligt stagemodellen för onlinegroomers antas förövare inledasin internetbrottslighet på en låg, mindre allvarlig nivå för att sedan eskalera ochförflytta brottsligheten från online till offline. Syftet med studien var att utifråntingsrättsdomar redogöra för likheter och skillnader mellan förövare som gjort sigskyldiga till utnyttjande av barn för sexuell posering beroende på om de ageratonline eller offline. Syftet var också att med stöd av stagemodellen föronlinegroomers få en uppfattning om huruvida onlineförövare som har lagförts äri starten på ett kontinuum eller om de är offlineförövare som kompletterar sinasexualbrott med hjälp av internet. Metod Studien är en kvantitativ studie avretrospektiv design baserad på tingsrättsdomar (N = 67) från 2009-2013.Resultatet påvisade att förövargrupperna använde samma tillvägagångsätt; tjat,hot, betalning eller kärlek för att få barnen att exponera sig.

Att marknadsföra ett företag genom att använda bilder och video är en strategi som används i allt större utsträckning då det ses som ett starkt marknadsföringsverktyg. I moderna samhällen kan företag inte bara nöja sig med att erbjuda sina tjänster, de måste också sälja dem genom att skapa ett tydligt varumärke. Ett varumärke skapas av en image och denna image ska som mål kunna representera varumärket alldeles självt.Syftet med detta examensarbete är att få en bredare förståelse av marknadsföring via sociala och digitala medier. Examensarbetet har utförts på uppdrag av DJkollektivet ?Håll Käften och dansa? där målet har varit att skapa en internationell webbsida för att marknadsföra dem.

In 2007 social media expanded on the Swedish market. This had implications for the way we are looking at communication and therefore also the PR business and how they are operating. The aim with this paper is to see how social media have affected marketing communication at PR-firms.Methodology: This paper is based on case studies from Swedish PR-firms. We used five cases from 2003-2005 and five from 2010-2012.

In the game, potential employees? skills could be tested to determine whether they are qualified for the job. This paper presents a general technique for creating such a recruitment game. The report generalizes the recruitment game to a level-based game for the web, where a player should be able to progress from one level to the next by solving a given problem.

Pica is a behavior that can be seen in several animal groups. In cats, it means that they are eating, chewing or licking on material that is non-food. In this study the data was collected through an online survey. In total 522 responses, of which 26% of the cats were exhibiting pica. It was found that 28% of the housecats and 26% of purebred cats exhibited pica.
