Att kunna rita en perfekt cirkel är super : En jämförande studie om hur lärare använder smartboards i undervisningen

The purpose of the study is to examine how the teachers in second grade use SMART Board and compare two schools.The process I used was qualitative interviews and classrooms observations. Previous studies shows how widely SMART Board is used in classrooms, and this has also been shown in my study. The study shows how differently SMART Board is used in the classrooms, and how important education in the technology of SMART Board is to achieve in the classroom. The final discussion clearly shows similarities and differences in the use of SMART Board in different classrooms and also the teachers? thoughts about SMART Board as a tool.A central aspect in the use of SMART Board shows how important the basic education in SMART Board is.

Optimizing energy systems is, in Sweden, as in many other countries, of growing interest. District heating systems are no exception. In 2012, 285 out of 290 municipals in Sweden had district heating in use and the majority of these systems have a higher return temperature than that which is possible with an error-free substation of day current technology. To, when possible, lower the return temperature is a way of increasing the effectiveness of the district heating system.This study means to investigate, through simulations and calculations, how big of a reduction in production cost a lower temperature in the city of Ystad?s district heating system would correspond to.

Programvaruutveckling för en elektromagnetisk skanner med fokus på användaren, användarstudier och inlärning

The project was based on a request to improve an already existing program and hardware at the electrical engineering department at the royal institute of technology. For maximum ease of use, tests have been done on students to properly design the program for what it is meant to be used for. These tests have been transcribed and analysed, then brought back to the group in a discussion and then transcribed and analysed again, I call this process the ?four step process? (this process is presented and explained in chapter 6.4.). A part of this master thesis was also to analyse the four step process to enhance validity of this research.The project resulted in a new program with a new graphical view and features to help students and researchers to work with the technical tool for electromagnetic readings of planar objects.

Matematiska kunskaper är en central del inom digital spelutveckling. Metoderna hur man lär ut matematik och dess innehåll har dock inte utvecklats i samma takt som hur lär ut hur man utvecklar spel. Jag vill med den här uppsatsen och mitt kandidatarbete utveckla ett unikt kursupplägg av tillämpad matematik for spelutveckling i 2-D. Detta upplägg baseras på analys av tidigare erfarenheter av matematikstudier och samtal med övriga kursansvariga. Den be?ntliga kurslitteraturen som används på tekniska högskolor är väldigt avancerad i sin forklaring av teori.

This study has the purpose of looking at the current and future position of record labels from a context involving the technological developments, while the opportunities for the artists are changing. As the actors inside them music industry find themselves in an ever changing climate where traditional supply chains are threatened by new technology, the record labels need to change the way they work in order to maintain their existence in the music industry. The study has been conducted by interviewing a number of people involved in the music industry, by using a qualitative method approach. The conclusion of the study shows that the traditional way of doing business by treating music as a product that makes revenue is gone. Instead the labels have to take on new roles formerly run by third parties in order to survive and be profitable, especially since artists can now in control of activities that used to be controlled by the record label..

På Skånemejeriers ysteri i Kristianstad har en energiinventering utförts. Detta för att lokalisera de komponenter på mejeriet som är energianvändare och få en bättre insyn i energianvändningen på mejeriet. Hydroware Elevation Technology AB är ett företag som utvecklar styrsystem till hydrauliska hissar. Hårdvaran i detta system börjar bli gammal och går troligen ur produktion inom en snar framtid. EU har dessutom upprättat nya säkerhetsföreskrifter för installation av hissar där styrsystemet omnämns. I en grupp av hissar skall hisskorgarna isoleras från eventuella fel i övriga hissar. This paper explores the field of virtual reality and how immersion and presences can be increased when it comes to navigation and interaction with Virtual Environments. The availability of VR technology has sparked a trend, especially in game development. Old ways of designing for interactive environments have to be revised. This bachelor thesis examines and discusses the question: "How can graphics for newscasts be adapted to follow technological developments in various media and increase its informative quality?" The work was performed on Swedish Television's own graphic department, SVT design in order to examine how news graphics need to be developed to follow the technological changes in media. The production resulted in a news graphics concept divided into three parts. This bachelor thesis portray a project where the main task were to develop a computer based system prototype for handling of absence report at the upper secondary school af Chapman in Karlskrona. The project has been conducted in cooperation with students from the university programs software engineering and information economy at Blekinge Institute of Technology. Our task as MDA-students have been to survey the process of absence report of today through field studies and give a proposal of a graphical user interface which later were developed by the software engineers. Binaural ljuddesign i 3D-spel

Detta kandidatarbete handlar om hur spelupplevelsen påverkas av en ljuddesign som är skapad genom en persons öron, en sån kallad binaural ljuddesign. I spel och film påverkar ljuddesignen 50% av det man ser och upplever. En stor del av de som spelar spel idag använder sig av hörlurar och headsets för att uppnå den bästa ljudupplevelse och för att de enkelt ska kunna kommunicera via olika röstchatt. Trots detta satsar spelföretag idag på att man ska få det mest kvalitativa ljudupplevelsen via surround-system och för att man enkelt ska kunna höra direktionellt ljud. Detta kan även en binaural ljuddesign återge genom vanliga hörlurar.

Vi har undersökt vilka skillnader som finns mellan investeringsprocessen för corporate venturing och investeringsprocessen för venture capital. Vårt empiriska material består av investeringsprocessen för Volvo Technology Transfer och vårt teoretiska material består av investeringsprocessen för venture capital. Detta är alltså utgångspunkten för vår jämförelse. Våra slutsatser är att det finns vissa väsentliga skillnader mellan processerna. Skillnaderna beror på investerartypernas olika mål och resurser.
