Vi hade en tes när vi började arbetet med den här uppsatsen och den var att rapporteringen om hiv och aids ur ett Sverigeperspektiv har minskat. Det var vår utgångspunkt när vi utvecklade vårt syfte med uppsatsen. Syftet blev därför att undersöka hur hiv och aids beskrivs, när det beskrivs ur ett Sverigeperspektiv i svensk press. Med Sverigeperspektiv menar vi artiklar som berör Sverige och landets befolkning. Vårt material har bestått av artiklar från två av Sveriges största tidningar, Dagens Nyheter och Expressen.

Tillsammans med forskare, pedofiler och Offer diskuterar vi mediebildens verkningar; vilka blir konsekvenserna av mediernas sätt att rapportera? Skulle rapporteringen kunna se annorlunda ut och i så fall - vad skulle man vinna på det?.

A conference is not only a meeting but an experience as well. The purpose of this study was to analyze and evaluate four conference organizers within the area of Stockholm Sweden, and to identify their range of activities. Studies were made regarding these conference organizers and how they cooperate with other companies to Offer a wider aspect of range. The purpose was also to find out how the demand side of the market appears. The demand side of the market could give an implication of how the conference organizers appear from their perspective and how the conference organizers adjust to their demand.

A trend since the early 90?s has been that some public libraries Offer a special shelf containing environmental information to the community, but it seems as though the subject has been overlooked by the literature and the science community. The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to study how three independent public libraries work with environmental information that is made available to the community. The following questions were addressed: 1) Which arguments can be found as to why the libraries Offer this activity? 2) How does the environmental work at the public libraries look and what does it contain of? 3) Are there any similarities or differences in this work between the three libraries?To answer these questions interviews with librarians were carried out; observations were made to complement the interviews.

In recent years e-commerce has experienced a big increase in usage. The authors of this paper chose the following problem for the study:What marketing strategies are fortunate for e-commerce companies to use to create loyal customers?To research this subject the authors saw it fit to combine qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Syftet med undersökningen är att se hur alkoholen påverkade gärningspersoner och brottsOffervid misshandelsfall i Halmstad 1915 till 1925. Jag vill klargöra vem som var Offer, det villsäga offrens socialklass och kön. Jag tittar också på vilken påverkan alkoholen hade kopplattill just dessa faktorer.Att det fanns ett samband mellan alkoholkonsumtion och misshandelsbrottslighet på ettnationellt plan var känt sedan tidigare. Det hade emellertid aldrig gjorts någon undersökningpå ett lokalt plan i Halmstad. Det finns inte heller någon specifik forskning på brottsoffren idessa fall.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to examine virtual reading groups, and which meaning the users perceive that the virtual reading groups Offer. In addition, the study inquires which details can be improved to further amend the needs and wants among the users of virtual reading groups. Through these outlines, it is discussed how libraries and librarians can make use of virtual reading groups as a resource. The study is based upon qualitative interviews, consisting of asynchronous e-mail interviews with a total of sixteen members in two different virtual reading groups.

Vår kvalitativa studie bygger på intervjuer med tre kvinnor från indiskalandsbygden som idag är placerade på ett statligt skyddshem för utsatta kvinnor iMumbai, Indien. Kvinnorna har hamnat i människohandel i sexuelltexploateringssyfte. Tematisk analys har använts för att urskilja återkommandeteman i deras berättelser. I studien utforskas hur kvinnornas identiteter inklusivesjälvbild formats av tiden inom människohandel. Studiens syfte är också attstudera hur kvinnorna hanterat sin livssituation före, under och efter tiden ibordellerna.

An increasing number of scholarly publishers are beginning to make their journals available electronically. At the same time there is a growing amount of exclusively electronic journals freely accessible on the Internet. These are facts that librarians have to take into consideration.This master's thesis aims to describe the electronic journal and its role in Swedish academic libraries. In a review of current literature about electronic journals, the authors discuss their strengths and weaknesses, and their impact on scholars, publishers and libraries. To investigate the situation in Sweden, a questionnaire was sent out to 43 academic libraries.Questions were raised about the selection and acquisition of electronic journals, access, technology and economy.The results show that almost half of the 35 responding libraries Offer electronic journals to their users.

Syftet med denna studie var att generera ökad förståelse för hur ett urval heterosexuella män som har blivit utsatta för våld av sin partner upplever att våldet påverkat dem. För att uppfylla detta syfte använde vi oss av semistrukturerade intervjuer som spelades in, transkriberades och kodades och därefter analyserades med hjälp av tidigare forskning på området, maskulinitetsteori, teorin om det ideala offret samt hermeneutisk meningstolkning. Resultaten från vår studie visade att informanterna upplevde ångest, självskadetankar, rädsla och skuld- och skamkänslor. Skamkänslorna var relaterade till den manliga identiteten och skador på denna, genererade av erfarenheten av att vara Offer för en kvinnlig förövare. Männen upplevde också att samhället varken ville eller kunde hjälpa dem.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att studera vilka föreställningar om förövare som förekommer i medias artiklar om mäns våld mot kvinnor. Ett antal artiklar från Sveriges tre största kvälls- och dagstidningar har studerats och fokus har legat på hur män framställs som förövare, på vilket sätt kvinnor framställs som Offer, men också på vilka eventuella förklaringar eller orsaker till våldet som finns i artiklarna. Genusteorier utifrån bland annat R.W Connell har använts för att visa på den genusstruktur som finns i samhället.

The recent accounting scandals in large companies in both USA and Europe, such as Enron and Scandia, have led to a huge debate about the quality of financial reports approved by auditors who, at the same time, Offer consultancy service to their audit clients. Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary scientific subject which connects biology, biomedicine and information science. Bioinformatics generates new biological knowledge by using computer methods and biological databases and can thereby play an important role for the understanding of diseases and be used for development of new medicines. The appearance of bioinformatics has thereby had a big impact on biomedical research.In this study, I have examined bioscientists' use of bibliographical databases, bioinformatic databases/web sites and bioinformatic tools and their needs of support concerning these resources. I have also examined which support the scientific libraries Offer their users concerning bibliographical databases, bioinformatic databases/web sites and bioinformatic tools and have compared it with the needs the libraries think that the users have and the needs the users state that they have.The results from the study show that there is a wish for library support concerning bibliographical databases, bioinformatic databases/web sites and bioinformatic tools. The wishes of the respondents are in contrast to the libraries' view about bioscientists interest concerning bioinformatic databases/web sites and bioinformatic tools.

The report aims to examine how property owners position themselves to reach their targetmarket, and which strategies they use when positioning their product. The investigation has beencarried out mainly in the form of a case study in which a number of interviews with Stockholmreal estate companies has been conducted, focusing on commercial property market segment.The interviews have resulted in identification of common and specific strategies among thecompanies. These strategies have been analyzed in the light of the theory by Philip Kotler andKevin Lane Keller, focusing on how an Offer should be designed to reach a competitive position.It can be concluded that positioning is a key activity for successfully addressing the targetmarket. Successful positioning mandates three key requirements to be met; determining thecategory to which the Offer belongs, identifying similarities and differences compared to thecompetitors and developing a brand mantra.
