The present work is a continuation of the ideas developed in previous projects during my Masters studies that explored the relation between pattern, form and space. Starting from the pattern multiplication for space construction the present project proposes textiles as an assortment of flexible expressions. The purpose of the project is to explore aesthetic and functional potential of textiles for out door temporary structures. This is to create a pattern interface which filters sunlight through a textile surface to Offer instant sheltering solutions for out door activities. The project combines research and analyses of outdoor temporary structures and scope of textile in the area.

The purpose of this study has been to investigate the virtual world that people are part of on online dating sites. To do this we have investigated two different research questions, which are the following: What functions do the online dating sites provide? Why and how are the online dating sites being used by their members? In order to gather information about these matters, we have used a qualitative method consisting of participating observation, scrutinizing and single person interviews. Our results indicate that people have different goals with their usage of online dating sites; some are looking for love, a long-term relationship while others are looking for sexual contact. There are many different online dating sites to choose from depending on the users? objective.

The goal of this qualitative essay is to approach the knowledge of people who commit crimes. From a development psychology point of view, questions relating to childhood ang growth are some of the important subjects we choose to discuss. Our purpose is also to reveal the linkage between criminal behavior and different theories of the above mentioned perspective. To bridge the gap between the general and the individual, our survey was based on profound interviews with four inmates in prison. This Offer an opportunity to capture the individual´s inner thoughts, feelings and experience about the criminal action.

In the last two decades something called ?the Eleatic Principle? has been quite frequent in philosophical literature. A wide range of philosophers have appealed to this principle when arguing for varioustheses but the principle itself has received comparatively little attention. Especially questions regarding the principle's justificationare often ignored or only mentioned in passing. The aim of this paper is to remedy this situation somewhat by focusing on how it could be justified.In section 2 I give an overview of the various ways in which the principle has been used to clarify just what we are dealing with here.

Arbetsplatsmobbning är ett vanligt förekommande fenomen som ofta uppkommer i stressiga arbetsmiljöer och där det finns brister i ledarskapet.  Hur människor upplever mobbningssituationer beror på deras egna personliga erfarenheter och hur de attribuerar det som händer. Syftet var därför att undersöka om det fanns skillnader mellan mäns och kvinnors attityder till arbetsplatsmobbning samt betydelsen av utbildningsnivån och offrets kön i sammanhanget. Studien var en enkätundersökning med frågor, påståenden och ett experimentellt moment där 90 kvinnor och 66 män deltog. För att mäta attityderna till olika typer av mobbning var enkäten utformad med utgångspunkt i skalorna NAQ-R och LIPT. Resultatet visade att kvinnor var den grupp som utför den värsta typen av mobbning och de hade även en allvarligare attityd till arbetsrelaterad mobbning än män.

Efter många diskussioner kring ämnet mobbning i skolan och dess konsekvenser trädde den första april 2006 en ny lag i kraft. I lagen SFS nr: 2006:67 betonas att varje skola ska utarbeta en likabehandlingsplan för att förebygga bland annat mobbning. Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur verksamma pedagoger arbetar för att förebygga mobbning och på så sätt få en medvetenhet om vilka strategier man som pedagog kan använda sig av i det förebyggande arbetet.I vår litteraturdel redogör vi för hur olika forskare definierar mobbning, gruppens ochsocialisationens betydelse, kännetecken hos mobbare, medlöpare och Offer för mobbning samtpedagogens roll i det förebyggande arbetet mot mobbning. Det ges även förslag på förebyggande åtgärder.För att undersöka vår fråga valde vi att göra personliga intervjuer med pedagoger i årskurs F-5. Resultatet av dessa visade att samtliga respondenter arbetade förebyggande mot mobbning men i olika utsträckning och på varierande sätt..

The aim of this study was to examine the existing discourse of assault in Aftonbladet from the years 2012 and 2013. We have studied news articles and analysed them by using discourse analysis as theory and method.The study shows that the portrayal of perpetrators and victims in assault cases tend to differ depending on gender. The women is portrayed as weak and part of a homogeneous group while the man is portrayed as dominant and Offered a more individual role. The study also shows that the normative group is separated from the deviate groups in society. The analyze show that media, through this representation, maintains the normative power in society.

This bachelor thesis concerns a region in central Turkey ? Cappadocia - and its need of a sustainable tourism development. A town called Ürgüp is located in the centre of this region, which mainly consist of a rich geographic, cultural and historic access.Our focus in this essay will be concerning Ürgüp and the importance of a sustainable tourism development. Our intensions are to examine what Ürgüp has to Offer as a tourist locality and how Ürgüp can maximise its visitors through a sustainable development. We also examine how the locality can be developed in a tourist perspective.

This study analyses how different companies Offer customer support through social media andthe customer experience of it.Facebook emerged in Sweden during 2008 and today it has more than 800 million user acrossthe globe. Initially Facebook was created for individuals. However, over time, Facebook hasincreased its functionality to support the presence of companies as well. Today most companieshas got a Facebook page and through it, they can easily communicate with their customers.Customer support is one of the communication forms that Facebook is used for.1A questionnaire that received a hundred responses together with a survey of the differentFacebook pages was done in order to determine how the companies work through socialmedia. The results from the questionnaire and the survey was analyzed with different theoriesregarding corporate presence on social media and Facebook.The results shows that only a few people actually used Facebook for customer support butamongst the ones who did the majority thought it worked well.

Abstract Youths and adolescents have for a long period of time, and at a high degree, beenabsent from the party political stage. The causes for this have been discussed inthis essay through a quantitative survey made in an upper secondary school class,consisting of some 19 subjects in the municipality of Kalmar. Tied together withrelevant literature and discourse on the subject, the essay has dealt with thepossible societal-, system- and individual barriers for political interest andinvolvement. Central questions for this essay has been for instance; age, gender,social background, geographical domicile, as well as the decline of ideology, theforms of current party politics, political interest, political engagement and soforth. The concluding remarks contain not only a mix of these barriers existing,not exclusively, for young and adolescents but different ground for them as well.On the one hand, there exist barriers which exclude youth from the conventionalpolitical life, but on the other, the more individualised youth of today, prefer to agreater extent not to participate under the conventional circumstances that partypolitics has to Offer.

Detta är en studie om hur Aftonbladet och Dagens Nyheter har skildrat konflikten mellan Nordkorea och Sydkorea under april 2013. Syftet med studien är att främst undersöka hur respektive land har framställts. Tyngdpunkten kommer att läggas vid språkbruket i artiklarna men också att undersöka huruvida tidningarna varit objektiva i sitt innehåll eller inte.Studien bygger på en kvalitativ studie som har gjorts utifrån 25 nyhetsartiklar publicerade i Aftonbladet och Dagens Nyheter mellan 1 april och 8 april 2013. Underso?kningen bygger pa? teorier kring språkbruk, objektivitet och nyhetsvärdering av bland annat Lars Nord och Jesper Strömbäck.Studien visar att att Nordkorea framställs som bovar i konflikten, medan Sydkorea och USA framställs som konfliktens Offer. .

Syftet med undersökningen är att ta redan på hur Balkankriget i slutet av 1900-talet konstrueras i svenska läroböcker för gymnasiet. Faircloughs kritiska diskursanalys ligger till grund för analysen. I framställningen av Tito har en Tito vänlig diskurs uppmärksammats liksom en diktaturkritsk diskurs. Inom området självständighetsförklaringar har en pro-jugoslavisk diskurs och en serbkritisk diskurs registrerats. Etnisk rensning är ett känsligt ämne och undersökningen indikerar att det ges allt större utrymme i läroböckerna.

The essay concerns the role of fiction in school. The research questions is; what is ?readable?, what does the authors think of teacher's task to develop students' literacy skills through fiction and how do the authors think of the teachers' task of using fiction in school. The questions give a basis that describes the role of fiction in school today based on the authors' perspective. We have chosen to use the open surveys as a method.

AbstractThis study is about describing the pre- internationalization phase and to studycompanies that are in this phase. We are trying to capture characteristics of decisionmakersin the pre- internationalization phase, to then compare the theoretical materialwith empirical material from case companies. Then in the final stages of the thesis, wewant to account for if we managed to answer our research questions. In the method, wegive a description of the approach selected in conjunction with the study. The study isqualitative and we used both primary and secondary data, with a deductive approach.The theory chapter will consider the most relevant theories that are related to the topic,which is internationalization, pre-internationalization, international entrepreneurship,and the psychology behind personalities, attitudes, and how these can affect theorganization's strategic decisions.

Uppsatsen avhandlar hur gymnasielärare sinsemellan konstruerar föreställningar om gymnasieelever som utsätts och utsätter andra elever för kränkningar av sexuell karaktär i sociala medier. Av detta syfte följer två frågeställningar: Vilka föreställningar om gymnasieelever som utsätts och utsätter andra elever för kränkningar i sociala medier ger gymnasielärarna uttryck för i relation till genusnormer? Hur förhåller sig dessa föreställningar till skolans ansvar att förhindra elever ifrån att utsättas för kränkande behandling?Nätkränkningar av sexuell karaktär mellan gymnasieelever avspeglar ofta normer kring ?normalt? respektive ?avvikande? beteende för flickor respektive pojkar. Därför applicerar uppsatsen ett genusteoretiskt perspektiv. Eftersom föreställningar om ?normalitet? och ?avvikelse? (åter)skapas i interaktion bygger uppsatsen på tre fokusgruppsintervjuer med vardera fyra gymnasielärare; en homogen mansgrupp, en homogen kvinnogrupp och en grupp med jämn könsfördelning.Empirin bearbetades genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys, vilken åskådliggjorde att samtliga deltagare är väl medvetna om sina juridiska möjligheter och förpliktelser att fördela ansvaret mellan lärare, rektor, kurator, polis och föräldrar.
