Background: Nerve mobilisation is a controversial subject which has undergone great development in recent decades. Nerve mobilisation is based on a concept of both examination and treatment of the nervous system. Purpose: To study nerve mobilisation as a treatment in physical therapy with emphasis on evidence regarding the method. Method: A literature review. The search was made through the databases: PubMed/Medline, Academic search, PEDro and CINAHL/webspirs.

Bakgrund: Fatigue är en biverkan hos kvinnor med bröstcancer som genomgår adjuvantbehandling. Sjuksköterskan kan genom sina omvårdnadsåtgärder hjälpa dessa kvinnor atthantera och minska biverkningar av fatigue. Begreppet empowerment och Orems teori omhjälp till självhjälp kan ses som en grund för sjuksköterskan i detta omvårdnadsarbete.Syfte: Att beskriva hur kvinnor med bröstcancer, under adjuvant behandling, kan hantera ochminska symptomet fatigue med hjälp av sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsinsatser, grundat i begreppet empowerment och hjälp till självhjälp.Metod: Litteraturbaserad studie med grund i tolv kvalitativa och kvantitativa artiklar.Resultat: Förekomsten av fatigue finns kvar men olika metoder kan ge minskade nivåer.Motion och rörelse kan lindra graden av fatigue. Muskelavslappningsövningar gav minskadenivåer och minskad upplevelse av fatigue. En balanserad sömn och minskad stress gavpositiva effekter på upplevd fatigue.Slutsats: Det finns olika omvårdnadsinsatser sjuksköterskan kan genomföra, dels själv menockså tillsammans med andra professioner.

The purpose of this examination paper has been to examine the situation for Swedish as a Second Language Programs in relationship to their interaction with the parents of the stu-dents. This case study was performed at two schools in the county of Stockholm. A com-parative analysis of both national and local documents for school governance was used to analyse the contents for incidents of parental involvement in schooling. Furthermore, qualitative semi-structured interviews were carried out with five staff-members holding key positions. The findings of the study are that schools tend to practice parental involve-ment only to the level that it is recommended in the national documents.

High-precision cutting in metal is very complicated, a lot of parameters affect the result: what geometries to be manufactured, surface roughness and tolerances to be achieved, batch size etcetera. Den problematiserar sva?righeten att dela spra?k kring dessa be- grepp inom olika musikpedagogiska inriktningar; utbildning till la?rare i musik, utbildning till musiker och utbildning till musikterapeut.Hur konstrueras mening i tal kring konst i musik, kring pedagogisk konsekvens av konstbegreppet i konstna?rlig utbildning samt det statliga uppdraget att utbilda i musik. I de samtal som ligger till grund fo?r studien, deltar verksamma pedagoger inom ho?gre musikutbildning vid tre olika la?rosa?ten.

Syfte: Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur djur påverkade livskvalitet hos äldre. Metod: Artikelsökning utfördes via databaserna; CINAHL, SCOPUS och sökmotorn ELIN. För att artiklarna skulle få vara med i studien var kravet att de skulle vara publicerade mellan åren 2000 - 2010 och skrivna på engelska eller svenska. Sammanlagt ligger 14 vetenskapliga artiklar till grund för resultatet i denna systematiska litteraturstudie. Huvudresultat: Flertalet studier visade att Animal Assisted Activity (AAA) och Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) främjade sociala interaktioner mellan äldre individer, lindrade känslor av ensamhet samt hade positiv effekt vid depression.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how public libraries in Norrbotten provide multilingual media and how the commitment is legitimized. In January 2014 there was a change to the guidelines for the International Library?s service for providing multilingual media. The responsibility for the provision of this service was also changed. The result shows there has been different ways of implementing the guidelines in practice; this has led to inequalities in the local library service.We have assembled data through qualitative interviews with five different public libraries in the north of Sweden.

Studier har också erhållits via manuell sökning. Huvudresultat:Studier visade på att djur inom särskilda boenden påverkade äldres psykiska och socialavälbefinnande till det bättre.

Högkänslighet, eller så kallad sensory-processing sensitivity (SPS), har beskrivits som ett personlighetsdrag där individen bearbetar sensorisk information på ett djupare och starkare sätt än personer som inte är högkänsliga. Syftet med den aktuella studien var att, med hjälp av självskattningsformuläret ?the Highly Sensitive Person Scale? (HSP), undersöka högkänslighet mot skattningar av naturen (NR, NR-Self, NR-Perspective, NR-Experience), grubbleri (RRQ-Rumination) och självreflektion (RRQ-Reflection), subjektivt välbefinnande (WHO) och upplevelser av mindfulness (MAAS). Undersökningen skedde via en webb-baserad enkät och omfattade 213 deltagare. Resultatet visade att individer som är mer högkänsliga värderar naturen högre, samt grubblar och reflekterar mer kring sig själva, än mindre högkänsliga personer.

Background: Hypochondriasis is associated with marked impairments in physical and psychological functioning, work performance and increased health care utilization. The prevalence among medical outpatients is estimated to be between 4,2 % and 6,3 %. Notwithstanding there is deficient research in this area. Until recently no specific treatment has been clearly demonstrated to be effective. Objective: The aim was to investigate experiences of what it is like to live with hypochondriasis, but also to examine different treatment options.

Our purpose was to study how care managers in practice evaluate needs in eldercare. A specific focus was set on elderly persons' sex, an area where former research show that decisions vary considerably. Were the care managers influenced in their decision making by the elderly person's sex? If so, in what ways? Were there variations in the definition of eldercare needs between the four chosen municipalities. And, finally, how did the care managers handle set criteria and priorities in their evaluation of such needs?The study was based on literature as well as interviews with eight care managers, chosen from four Scanian municipalities.We arrived at the conclusion that there is no specific difference in how the care managers evaluate eldercare needs in relation to sex..

In this study have I examined how treatment of girls with neuropsychological impairments is functioning? I have looked at the theories and methods of treatment on the base of the care program and how it is put into practice. In addition I have interviewed four girls who have undergone the treatment program.To gain perspective on institutional care as a social phenomenon, I have tried to give a brief historical retrospect in which particular care for women are described. I am also affecting certain gender aspects of institutional care. I have also tried to make a brief account of current research on the treatment.The study is a qualitative study in which I am apart from literature studies used participant observation in depth interviews as a method.My results indicate that a well structured treatment with CBT approach can work well to achieve lasting behavioural changes in students..

This is a study of foster homes. The focus is at the methods, used at foster homes evaluations and at guidance/support the foster homes are offered.En questionnaire is made in Skåne, on this theme.Except that, it contains a fairly lot of useful information for families who are interested in becoming foster home.The questionnaire is made among public and private participants who evaluates new foster homes and places children (under 18 years) in Skåne.Because of the low answer frequency, we can?t generalize the result of the questionnaire. But the result we have obtained indicates that Kälvestens evaluation method is used frequently.In the subject of support/guidance we can?t see any specific methods used.

Ett balanserat aktivitetsmönster anses inom arbetsterapi vara en viktig komponent för att uppleva hälsa i aktivitet. Syftet med studien var att beskriva och förstå aktivitetsmönster och dess relation till upplevd tillfredsställelse med livet i allmänhet. Undersökningsgruppen rekryterades från en region i norra Sverige och bestod av 40 personer med diagnosen seropositiv reumatoid artrit. Datainsamlingen genomfördes med instrumenten Occupational Questionair, Life Satisfaction Questionnaire och FRIES index, bearbetades i dataprogram och redovisades med deskriptiv statistik. Resultatet visade att undersökningsgruppen hade en likartad fördelning av sina aktiviteter under dygnet.
