The conception of exhaustion was first used in the end of 1960 and was then used in a psychological context directed towards the working life. Eventually was the conception devided into two main categories: mental and somatic symtoms. Today research of exhaustion is mainly aiming towards recovering and returning to working life.This work sets out to analyse the importance and effects of social networks such as family, friends and professional relations in helping people who suffer from exhaustion to recover. The study is based on interviews with eith people who have suffered from exhaustion but today are recovered. To my aid I have used tree different questions: What part have the social network of family and friends ment to the recovery? What part has the professional relationships with doctors, therapists and curators ment to the recovery? How have you changed your life in order to maintain balance?The interviews pointed out the importance of the social relationships as support, feedback and understanding that the process takes time.

Bakgrund: Förutsättningarna för sjukgymnasters arbete på särskilt boende ser olika ut beroende på brukarantal, möjlighet att vara tillgänglig samt resurser från kommunen. Flera studier visar på att resursbrist försvårar sjukgymnasters arbete och att det är svårt att tillgodose brukarnas behov när sjukgymnasterna har det medicinska rehabiliteringsansvaret för ett stort antal brukare. Rehabilitering sker på specifik och allmän nivå, och till stor del genom omvårdnadspersonal. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva sjukgymnasters upplevelser av sitt arbete på särskilt boende för äldre. Metod: Datainsamling skedde genom sju semistrukturerade intervjuer med sjukgymnaster som arbetade på särskilt boende.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva arbetsterapeuters erfarenheter av hjälpmedelsuppföljning. För att besvara syftet valdes en kvalitativ metod för datainsamling och analys. Tolv verksamma arbetsterapeuter ingick i studien. Inklussions- kriterierna var att arbetsterapeuter som deltog skulle vara verksamma legitimerade arbetsterapeuter, förskriva hjälpmedel och ha yrkesarbetat under minst ett år. Data samlades in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer och en intervjuguide användes som stöd vid intervjuerna.

Syfte: Studiens syfte är att undersöka vilken betydelse sociala aktiviteter har för äldre människor.Metod: En litteraturstudie av elva kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar. Studierna artiklarna bygger på har ett urval av socialt aktiva äldre deltagare med fokus på sociala aktiviteter ur ett deltagarperspektiv. I dataanalysen användes kvalitativ innehållsanalys med induktiv ansats.Resultat: Analysen resulterade i följande kategorier: Sociala relationer, vidgade vyer, meningsfullhet, tillhörighet, delaktighet, sociala rutiner, livsberikande, tillföra något till andra, personlig utveckling och välbefinnande.Slutsats: Sociala aktiviteter var betydelsefulla för deltagarna i studierna som utgör underlag för den här studien. The purpose of this study is to achieve a greater understanding of the perception of the use of Special Educational Needs Coordinators? (SENCOs?) competence in school. The informants of this study are the director of the school district, two principals and six teachers in two schools in a municipality in Sweden. The method used for this study is qualitative interviews, and the results have been analyzed using perspectives on special education. The results show that the director of the school district has one ideal view of SENCOs working close to the principals with supervision of teachers, school development, administrative tasks etc.

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva hur innebörden av begreppet vardagsrehabilitering (VR) uppfattas inom kommunal äldreomsorg. Datainsamling utfördes genom enskilda intervjuer med omvårdnadspersonal, arbetsterapeuter, enhetschefer samt beslutande politiker, fem respektive sex i varje grupp. Data analyserades utifrån en kvalitativ innehållsanalys inspirerad av fenomenografi som resulterade i två kategorier: 1) VR innebär kommunikation, samarbete och resurser, samt 2) VR innebär ett synsätt där träning i aktivitet möjliggörs i alla situationer. Resultatet visade att alla respondenter anser att innebörden av begreppet VR är att de äldre inom kommunal äldreomsorg ska få möjlighet att utföra aktiviteter utifrån egen förmåga. Andra särskilt framträdande aspekter gällande VR är att det anses innebära en god kommunikation, vara ett självklart synsätt som inte behöver diskuteras, samt att utbildning är viktigt men inte en förutsättning för att arbeta vardagsrehabiliterande..

AbstractThe purpose of this study were to examine the appeal that reaches the county administrative court regarding cases within The law of support and service to some disabled (LSS) the third "alternative" with the effort personal assistant. We have gathered 280 cases from seven different county administrative court and from our selection 19 of the cases remained.These 19 cases became our starting point for our study and they have been interpreted through Foucault´s and Skau´s interpretation frame regarding power and Payne´s social constructivism to try and answer our three questions at issue: How are the cases being handled by the county administrative court? What kind of cases leads to appeal? What similarity and differences are there between the cases? These questions have been answered one by one in a systematical order. Our result shows, among other things, that cases that involve certificates from occupational therapist or physiotherapist are the cases that win against the municipality in the county administrative court. Further we have found a new theme in our study regarding clientification among them who apply for efforts within LSS and "alternative" three.

Syftet med denna studie var att genom en litteraturöversikt sammanställa kunskapsläget över bildterapins värde som arbetsterapeutiskt medel vid rehabilitering av vuxna med psykisk ohälsa. Litteratursökningen genomfördes i flera databaser över publicerade vetenskapliga artiklar samt genom en sekundärsökning i referenslistorna hos de artiklar som hittats via databassökningen. Vid analysen av resultatet användes en indelning av kreativa aktiviteters värde enligt Creek (2008a) som ett raster. Resultatet beskriver först kortfattat studiernas karaktär, därefter beskrivs studiernas bevisvärde och bildterapins effekter. Efter detta beskrivs det som framkommit vid analysen, bildterapins värde.

The aim of this study was to investigate how a workplace should be formed to promote health according to the employees. The study was made in IKEA handla hemma in Älmhult, Sweden. The aim of the study was to find out why people experience health at their workplace environment, from a salutogenetic point of view. The study is based on 12 strategically selected interviews and where analysed according to Grounded Theory. This resulted in a model where the core category was ?The prevailing spirit of the organisation? and the five main categories was ?That the organisation creates favourable conditions to promote health?, ?That there is a god atmosphere amongst the colleagues and the bosses?, ?The personal point of view about health?, ?The relationship to goals and responsibility? and ?The personal point of view about their surroundings?.

Construction companies are frequently criticized for high prices and long construction time. At the same time, statistics shows that construction workers are on the sick-list for occupational injuries or casualties more than other groups at the labour market.Skanska built a block of flats with tenant-ownerships in Gävle. The construction consists of concrete walls with in-fill walls in the front. The purpose with this degree project is to perform a risk analysis in work environment with focus on repetitive strain injuries and control the time report for in-fill walls manufactured in a field factory. The result of this project will help to make more realistic cost predictions in the future.This degree project has been performed in cooperation with the construction company Skanska.

Earlier psychological research on stress and its complex of problems has identified several factors which have shown a relation with the occurrence of a poorer mental ill-health. In this study some of these factors have been examined in 69 police officers from Stockholm, Lund and Helsingborg. In the study, police officers with high and low self reported ill-health were compared considering trait anxiety, alexithymia and posttraumatic stress symptoms.The results showed that police officers with poorer mental ill health had a significant higher degree of trait anxiety, the dimension of alexithymia difficulty identifying feelings and the PTSD-dimension avoidance and hyperarousal. The results also showed several positive relations among the variables that divided the groups. On account of the last-mentioned the results will above all be discussed in an integrating perspective..

Studiens syfte är att belysa enhetschefers upplevelser och värderingar av samarbetet med en företagshälsovård angående upprepad korttidsfrånvaro. Kvalitativ metod med semistrukturerade intervjuer användes. Tio enhetschefer i två kommuner intervjuades och resultatet bygger på deras subjektiva upplevelser. I studien framkom att enhetscheferna generellt anser att grundtanken i samarbetet är bra med en bra struktur. Enhetscheferna har sedan länge själva arbetat med den upprepade korttidsfrånvaron och det är även de som bedömer vilka medarbetare som hänvisas till företagshälsovården.

The present study examines the effect of a nine-hour Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) intervention for teachers who experience stress. Twenty-two teachers from four different counties in southern Sweden were randomly allocated to an ACT intervention (n=15) and a control group (n=7). The ACT condition received three three-hour sessions of ACT over a six-week period, and the control group received a three-hour stress lecture at one occasion. At a follow-up four-weeks after completed intervention, ACT participants showed significant in-group differences on stress, psychological flexibility, general health, and burnout. At a between group comparison, only psychological flexibility was significantly enhanced at the follow-up.

I denna uppsats undersöks hur psykologens yrkesroll formas och utformas på vårdcentral. Det empiriska materialet utgörs av semistrukturerade intervjuer med fem psykologer på vårdcentral, deras verksamhetschefer samt en yrkesutvecklingskoordinator för psykologer inom primärvården. Med utgångspunkt i grounded theory har resultatet analyserats i termer av primärvårdspsykologi, professionell identitet och professionssociologi. Resultatet lyfter fram psykologernas bild av sin yrkesroll, deras upplevelse av relationer till andra i organisationen och till gränsfrågor. Slutsatsen är att psykologens yrkesroll på vårdcentralen befinner sig i jurisdiktionens gränsområde och innebär ett aktivt identitetsarbete, en komplex och dynamisk process i spänningsfältet mellan professionella identitetsideal och organisatorisk reglering..
