Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på om verksamma lärare i högstadiet och gymnasiet explicit eller implicit utgår från lärandeteorier i sin undervisning. Vi har valt att fokusera på behaviorism, konstruktivism och sociokulturellt perspektiv. Metoderna för undersökningen är observation med efterföljande djupintervju av fyra lärare samt en enkätundersökning med 20 deltagare. I litteraturdelen beskrivs kort de tre lärandeteorierna samt hur de kan tillämpas. I resultaten framkommer det att en svag majoritet av lärarna visar på explicit användande av teorierna i sin undervisning och en mindre del uppvisar implicit användande av teorierna, medan endast fyra deltagare inte alls utgår från lärandeteorier i sitt arbete..

The purpose of this study is to examine how four teachers in preschool describe their view of conflicts between children from gender perspective. The theories associated with the study conclude that sex can be considered as being either biologically or socially engineered. The study consists of empirical material by the means of qualitative research based on interviews. The results of the study show different views on whether children's gender plays a role in a conflict. Furthermore, I have chosen to find out whether gender plays a role in conflict management as well as in the children's play at preschool, this to come to as qualitative conclusions as possible..

Syftet med vårt examensarbete är att undersöka hur lyssnandet kan se ut mellan elever i en klass på komvux, dels för att få mer kunskap och förståelse om de olika sätten att lyssna, dels för att kunna medvetandegöra och utveckla elevers lyssnande. För att uppnå vårt syfte undersöker vi hur eleverna responderar på varandra. Den metod vi har använt oss av är den kvalitativa metoden observation. Vi har samlat in vårt material genom att göra en videoinspelning på 40 minuter med 5 elever på komvux samt kompletterat med två dagars observationer. Vårt resultat tyder på att eleverna har olika sätt att visa att de lyssnar, både verbalt och icke-verbalt.

Cardiac arrhythmias and heart diseases can result in a limited performance capacity which could lead to anxiety and depression. Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of symptoms of depression among patients with cardiac arrhythmias. The intention was also to explore differences between men and women in the occurrence of symptoms of depression. Furthermore, the prevalence of symptoms of depression among patients with cardiac arrhythmias was compared with a Swedish general population. Method: For two weeks MADRS-S, a self-rating scale for depression, were distributed at a medicine ward where patients with cardiac arrhythmias are treated, at a hospital in Sweden.

Objective: The objective of this thesis is to investigate how Scania has attained success to establish on the Indian market and to inquire into the establishment process of Scania and their entrance in the Indian market. The thesis describes different factors such as the product, mode of entry, time of entry and choice of market that play a role when a company establishes and invest in a foreign market.Method: This thesis is limited to the process of establishing Scania on the Indian truck market. A qualitative approach has being utilized in this study, consisting of interviews withStaffan Sjöström, development manager at the R&D department, Koen Knoops, vice president at Financial Services and Henrik Fagrenius, former managing director for Scania in India. Data collection from various journals and articles have been conducted for the presentation of the number of sold newly registered trucks in comparison to the number of sold newly registered trucks in India by Volvo, Tata Motors and Ashok Leyland during 2010, 2011, 2012 and the first three quarters of 2013.Theory: With a starting-point in empirism, we have used a theoretical frame of reference to describe Scania´s establishment process. Scania makes use of an internationalization strategy, namely Market Selection, Time of Entry and Entry mode and the network model, which describes the process of establishing on a foreign market as a business association with various players on the market.

The purpose of this study was to illustrate the effects of music in pre-, peri-, and postoperative care. This study is a systematic literature study based on 22 scientific articles with quantitative methods. Music is an alternative treatment used in nursing care. Nurses could as a complement to routine pre-, peri-, and postoperative nursing have music interventions in mind, because an operation involves anxiety, fear and pain for many patients. The result of the study shows that music can reduce patients? anxiety, pain and improving their wellbeing and recovery.

The study was carried out as a time study of five wood chippers placed on trucks,so?called huggbilar. They are trucks with built?in wood chipper, chip bowl and crane pulling a chip trailer. The system is used for chipping wood fuel, transporting, and delivering the chips to heating plants.

This study focuses on international mediation and mediation theory. The aim of the study is to bring into light, a critique on already exsisting mediation theory and the need to oversimplify generalisations and results. This study focuses on a comparison between Richard Holbrooke and Carl Bildt, and their roles? as mediators during the war in Bosnia and Hercegovina 1995. I have deliberatly chosen two very different actors on the same case, to show that traditional belif on why the war ended is oversimplyfied and wrong.This study uses Curran, Sebenius and Watkins paper on mediation as a template in defining how to use the criterias for analyzing a mediator.

I utbildningen till lärare ingår verksamhetsförlagd utbildning, VFU. VFU genomförs på en skola, förskola eller fritidshem hos en lärare i verksamheten, en VFU-lärare. För bedömning och kvalitetssäkring av utbildningsmomentet besöker en lärarutbildare från universitetet den lärarstuderande på VFU-platsen.Under besöket genomför i regel den lärarstuderande ett utbildningsmoment med barnen/eleverna där den besökande universitetslärarens observation av undervisningsmomentet tillsammans med information från VFU-läraren och den studerande utgör det bedömningsunderlag som lärarutbildaren behöver för att kunna examinera den lärarstuderandes VFU. Bedömningen, som görs mot kursplanens lärandemål, sker i det s.k. VFU-samtalet där parterna deltar och som vanligen hålls efter den studerandes undervisningsmoment.Det är inte ett tvång att dokumentera den lärarstuderandes prestation och samspel med barnen/eleverna, vilket medför en viss rättsosäkerhet eftersom en ny bedömning utifrån det genomförda undervisningstillfället inte är möjlig.

The aim of this study is to examine the collection One Thousand and One Nights (also: The Arabian Nights) from a european perspective, by comparing different european translations. The study focuses on three translations into Swedish from different periods of time and how the tales have changed in the translation process - depending on the prevailing line of approach and Western perceptions of Eastern standards. The thesis of the study is that Eastern culture, from a Western perspective, has been seen as exotic and different but not as a high literary culture and that this view has affected the translations into european languages. The study shows, among other things, that Western culture is many times considered normative in the translations and that the translators often give their own voices a prominent role, also that common Western notions of the East affects the translations.The word ?orientalism? is used frequently in the study and it refers primarily to the image of the Orient as it is described in Edward Saids' book Orientalism: as a Western construction whose main purpose is to strengthen its own conception of the Orient and thereby strengthen the Western identity as better than the Orient.

The purpose of this study is to analyze different aspects of a portraying of individuals from a time past. It is concentrated around questions about why it is important to show the people?s stories in, for example, exhibitions and under which conditions this would serve as a good use of history according to different theories about history and the portraying of it.I have chosen the theories of Freidrich Nietzsche and Georg Simmel as a tool to analyze different aspects of the portraying of people from the past. Nietzsche?s theory about the different ways in which we use the past and Simmels theory about the meeting between a viewer and a cultural experience.

Genom massmedia kommer ständigt nya rapporter om hur fel dagens unga lever. Att det är mycket stillasittande, ohälsosam kost, och att barnen inte leker eller rör på sig naturligt. Det pågår mycket forskning om detta, hur barnen påverkas motoriskt sett, och då även inlärningsmässigt. Jag har tittat närmare på motoriken. Till grund för detta arbete, hur den motoriska utvecklingen bland 10- åringar är, ligger ett rörelseprojekt, kallat SMARTIS.

In contemporary Sweden political participation among foreign-born Swedes is viewed as low and it is well known that foreign-born individuals do not use their voting rights to the same extent as the general population. At the same time there are numerous ethnic associations around the country who work with various activities involving political, democratic and integration issues. This study aims to study how four members of a Somali association regard, relate to and work with politics, democracy and integration. The study is based on these four people, but also on their relationship with authorities and other agencies in the community. The conclusion of this study shows in brief that the desire to participate politically is great, but that democracy and politics is accessible to all, depending on the level of language skills and what political knowledge the individual has.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att genom intervjuer med tre medelålders kvinnor, ta del av deras upplevelser av Adventsmarknaden och friluftsmuséets Lilla Julmarknad i Gamla Linköping. Genom intervjuer och deltagande observation vid marknaderna undersöker jag på vilket sätt informanterna besöker en marknad och hur deras syn på shopping och service styr deras besök. Uppsatsen belyser hur de shoppar när de besöker en marknad, hur de ser på service och hur detta påverkar deras upplevelse. Slutsatsen av denna studie är kortfattat att de besöker marknaden, och shoppar på tre skilda sätt. De definierar och uppskattar service på olika sätt och handlar olika typer av varor.
