Studier visar att dagens elever känner oro inför framtiden och de klimatförändringar vår värld utsätts för. Skolverkets nationella kartläggning utav miljöundervisning i skolan visar dock att cirka hälften av de tillfrågade gymnasielärarna inte bedriver någon undervisning i ämnet. Denna studie beskriver en alternativ modell för undervisning i klimatfrågor. Elever ges genom modellering av ekosystem möjlighet att fördjupa sin förståelse kring klimatförändringar i samband med exploatering av topp-predatorer. Detta är ett realistiskt problem då en mängd studier visar att dagens ekosystem utsätts för en mängd stressfaktorer, med ursprung i klimatförändringar, och att exploatering av topp-predatorer kan leda till konsekvenser med artutdöende som följd.

For most dog owners today it is natural to use acoustic stimuli such as talking to communicate with their pets. This essay examines through a sociological perspective how physical objects in Ted Kooser?s poetry collection "Delights & Shadows" can be used to depict the characters? social environment. This is done by examining the physical objects found in 25 poems, the relationships between subjects and objects, and how this relationship can describe the social environment. The essay also examines how the relationship between subjects, objects, and the presence of the social environment within the text affects the reader experience. The physical objects are examined with Bill Brown?s Thing Theory as "things" that stop working for humans, when their flow within the circuits of production and distribution, consumption and exhibition is arrested, however momentarily.

The purpose with this examination task is to investigate what purchasers and building contractors think of ISO 9000 and the function of it within the building trade.In this material both the purchaser´s and the building contractor´s viewpoints and attitude towards ISO 9000 is being object to an investigation, in order to get a just picture of the function of the quality work within the building trade. The general opinion of ISO 9000 has proven to be positive. During the work with this investigation it appeared that nosystem is that good that it can´t be improved. A widely spread opinion is also that ISO 9000 means a lot of paperwork but also that the certified companies are well organized. In the assembly process of airframe structures there are many drilled holes and on some parts the holes are mainly drilled manually with pneumatic handheld drilling machines. During conventional drilling in metal, burrs appear. To remove these burrs the parts of the structure must be separated and deburred before they can be put together for fastening. This is a time consuming measure and therefore expensive. To facilitate this process and lower production costs some parts of the process needs to be automated.A part of this thesis was a project in co-operation with Saab, Novator, Specma Automation and the University of Linköping.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the researcher experiences its role in real life in relation to the field of education and adult learning. The context of the study is the academic department of education and adult learning in Swedish institutions. This is a qualitative study, inspired by Grounded Theory. Data consist of interviews, texts from policy documents and reports. Both the aspects gender and context have been taken into consideration.

I denna uppsats studeras hur kontakter mellan filmproducenter och manusförfattare, regissörer och finansiärer skapas och fördjupas samt i vilka konkreta fysiska rum sådana kontakter kan ske. Djupintervjuer har gjorts med tre Stockholmsbaserade filmproducenter och två andra nyckelpersoner i samma stad. Dessa intervjuer har sedan analyserats dels hermeneutiskt, dels genom diskursanalys. Resultaten visar att kontakter ofta skapas dels genom personliga nätverk, dels i själva arbetet med filmprojekt. Mötesplatserna är ofta temporära och interna, även om vissa typer av miljöer som kontor, lägenheter och restauranger återkommer.

The purpose of my study is to examine whether the need for competence development in the communicative leadership exists among the six school leaders at the current adult education unit in Malmö. By observing the communication between the parties I hoped to get the following questions answered: What are the preconditions for the school leaders, in their daily communication with the staff, for getting the staff to feel noticed and confirmed? In what ways do the school leaders communicate with their staff to motivate them to development? I also wanted to highlight the school leaders' awareness of their own communication skills. The theories and models I have used are Haberma?s theory of the communicative action, Spitzberg and Cupach?s relational competence model and Engquist?s theory of level of abstractions.

Affektreglering är ett begrepp som inom modern anknytningsteori används för att beskriva förälderns följsamhet, lyhördhet och stöd för barnet att reglera och organisera affekter, upphetsningsnivå och erfarenheter. Förälderns förmåga avseende detta antas kunna påverka barnets förmåga till självreglering. I syfte att studera om faktorer som att föda ett prematurt riskbarn och paritet påverkar mammans förmåga till affektreglering har en teoretiskt grundad skala skapats utifrån variabler som ingår i The Parent-Child Early Relational Assessment (ERA), ett kvantitativt bedömningsinstrument av samspelskvalitéer. I jämförelse mellan 17 mammor till prematurfödda riskbarn (VLBW/ELBW) och en matchad kontrollgrupp, videofilmade i samspelssituationer då barnen varit 3, 18 och 24 månader (korr. för prematurfödda), framkommer en signifikant lägre affektreglerande förmåga hos förstföderskor som har ett prematurt riskbarn.

The market for biofuels from the forests have had a positive development and the job initiators for this master´s thesis wanted to examine the profitability of a method for harvesting forest fuel, which was unfamiliar to them. The method was the ?long tree tops-method?, here called the LT-method. The LT-method is characterised by the fact that timber is harvested as the only roundwood assortment while the rest of the stem, which in other cases would become pulpwood, is harvested as forest fuel together with the logging residues. The method is based on the assumption that advantages in handling of the forest fuel assortment such as increased load weights for forest hauling and truck transportation, should compensate for the lower price for pulpwood when sold as forest fuel. The aim of the study was to compare the profitability of the LT-method with the GROT-method (harvest of timber, pulpwood and logging residues) and conventional logging without any harvest of forest fuel, and aslo to try to identify factors affecting the profitability of the different methods.

Bakgrund: Syftet är att undersöka hur elever med ADHD har upplevt sin skoltid samt hur eleverna anser att lärare bemöter elever med ADHD. Metod: Genom kvalitativa metoder har sex vuxna personer med diagnosen ADHD intervjuats. Undersökningen utgår ifrån tre frågeställningar om hur elever med ADHD har upplevt sin skolgång, vilka relationer de haft till lärare och hur anpassning av undervisning sett ut. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna för undersökningen är socialkonstruktivismen och relationella perspektivet. Analysen utgår utifrån en hermeneutisk ansats.

The automotive industry is increasingly studying lightweight solution in their designs, also rational production and low costs in materials and manufacturing methods are of great interest. This thesis consisted in the practical evaluation of anchors for sandwich panels. The object was to study loads of shearing and pull out of the plane. The experiments were carried out on panels made up of 1mm aluminium coatings and 50mm extruded polystyrene (XPS) at its core. As the fasteners used simple methods such as blind rivets, screw and glue.

The purpose of this study is to describe how the employee appraisal is perceived by managers, employees and representatives from human resources departments. The empirical material con-sists of 15 interviews: respondents were two representatives of the human resources departments, four unit managers and nine employees who work at a state institution or municipal management. In the study, I adopt a sociocultural perspective, with the communicative relational perspective. The latter is a special education perspective in which the interpenetration of participation, com-munication and learning emphasized.The result shows that the majority of employees would like to see that the talks will be held more frequently than once a year. One of the managers has in cooperation with his co-workers devel-oped a model based on that each year, in addition to salary talks, have an individual conversation, a conversation with each group and individual follow-up talks.
