Omvårdnadshandledning - En kvalitativ studie om sjuksköterskestudenters upplevelser av omvårdnadshandledning

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva upplevelser av omvårdnadshandledning, så som den erfarits av sjuksköterskestudenter vid en högskola i södra Sverige under perioden 2007 -2009. Omvårdnadshandledning ingår som en obligatorisk del av utbildningen och påbörjas under utbildningens andra termin i form av regelbundet återkommande gruppträffar, ca fyra gånger per termin, och fortgår sedan under resterande del av studietiden. Då det har noterats att behållningen av omvårdnadshandledning skiljer sig radikalt mellan olika studenter finns det ett intresse hos författarna av att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar densamma. Studien är en kvalitativ intervjustudie. Nio sjuksköterskestudenter deltog i studien som genomfördes med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer. Vid tolkningsarbetet av datan har författarna låtit sig inspireras av fenomenografin, där olikheter, snarare än likheter belyses.

En självklar del av biblioteket : En studie av förhållandet mellan tvåbibliotek och Berättarministeriet

This master's thesis aims to study the relationship between two publiclibraries and Berättarministeriet, a foundation that offers free writingworkshops for children in areas with high levels of unemployment. Theworkshops are located in spaces that formerly belonged to the libraries.Questions posed in this thesis are How can the relationship between thelibraries and Berättarministeriet be described?, Why did the relationship turnout differently in the two places? and How does the library see itself, inrelation to Berättarministeriet?The theories used are Ögland's taxonomy for relationships between librariesand local organizations, and Folkesson's theory on interaction betweendifferent professional groups, and this was studied through interviews. Theresults showed a relationship without much interaction, beyond a "handover"of children from one place to the other, with time and shortness of staff beingcontributing factors to the low level of collaboration. Regarding the differentrelationships in the two places the results were not conclusive, butnevertheless showed tendancies of issues in the legitimacy dimension, fromthe library towards Berättarministeriet.

Kultur - hinder och möjlighet : En studie om ensamkommande flyktingbarns möte med en ny kultur

The aim with this essay was that on the basis of the care staff?s interpretations study how the unaccompanied refugee children consider cultural differences in the Swedish society and how it influenced the children. The study was carried out through six qualitative interviews with care workers at a municipal group accommodation for unaccompanied refugee children in the south of Sweden. The individual interviews were semi-structured and built on a list of questions with different subjects that were linked to the aim and question formulation for the essay. The analysis was carried out from Lazarus theory about coping and Antonovsky?s theory about ?SOC?, sense of coherence, with focus on the three components, comprehensibility, manageability and meaningfulness.

Value creation- How can companies optimize the human capital

The thesis aims to examine how companies optimize the human capital from a value creation perspective. The value creation will be related to transfer of knowledge, recruitment, staff turnover and development. The thesis has a deductive approach and six qualitative interviews have been conducted. The results from the interviews will be strengthened with a quantitative data analysis of two measurements; value added per employee and human capital efficiency. The theoretical framework includes definitions of human capital.

Barnsjuksköterskors upplevelse av samarbete mellan neonatal och förlossningen - En pilotstudie om barnsjuksköterskors upplevelse av samarbete mellan neonatal och förlossningen vid riskförlossning

Introduktion: Vid en riskförlossning är det viktigt att det finns ett fungerande samarbete mellan vårdpersonalen på neonatal och förlossningen då omvårdnaden inkluderar både mor och barn och de bör ses som en helhet.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att beskriva barnsjuksköterskors upplevelse av samarbete mellan neonatal och förlossningen vid riskförlossning. Metod: En kvalitativ metod med en fenomenologisk ansats användes i denna pilotstudie. Två barnsjuksköterskor intervjuades.Resultat: Studiens resultat redovisas under fyra huvudteman, Att det finns ett samarbete, Att befinna sig i olika organisationer, Att tränas i samarbete och Att förbereda föräldrarna genom samarbete. Barnsjuksköterskorna beskrev hinder och möjligheter som de upplever finns för samarbete mellan neonatal och förlossningen. Hinder som de upplevde var t.ex.

Meningsfull Fritid? : Några fritidshemsbarns tankar om sin fritidstid

During my practical training I have seen what after-school offers children. Large groups of children and little staff, often results in that the children had to play freely until they go home. Few activities are offered to the children and the staff is busy looking after the children and ensures that they are not fighting.The purpose of this study is to find out how children feel about their leisure activities and if they think they are being offered a meaningful leisure. The main research questions were:How do children experience their leisure-time?Do after-school offers children a meaningful leisure and is it the children's interests and needs that govern the activities and the environment?How do the number of children in the leisure group affect the leisure time?The methods to collect data in the study are observations and interviews.

Kvalitativ innehållsanalys av Nationell patientenkät på kirurgidivisionen på ett sjukhus i Mellansverige, 2012.

Aim: On the basis of the Swedish 2012 National Patient Survey and its open answers, study how patients experienced the quality of care during hospitalization in a surgical divisionMethod: In this study, 306 patients' responses was compiled and analyzed by qualitative content analysis and reported descriptively in running text.Results: The way patients were treated by staff was experienced by respondents mainly as positive. The staffs? courteous and sympathetic attitudes were appreciated. The food that was served was described as substandard, distasteful and dull. The cleanliness of the hospital departments were reported to be inadequate, particularly in washrooms.

En konkurrensrättslig analys av ?reverse settlements? i läkemedelsbranschen

The aim of this study was to understand how evaluations are implemented and used in procured nursing homes for elderly. Our methodological approach consisted of a single-case study research. The case in this study was Växjö municipality. Three procured nursing homes for elderly were chosen in the municipality as examples of implementation and use of evaluation. The method for retrieving empirical data and the analyzing of it was based on triangulation.

Motivation i arbetslivet   : En kvantitativ studie om vad som motiverar personalen inom äldreomsorgen.

The purpose of this thesis is to study what motivational factors motivates the staff in the public elderly care and to investigate how the staff ranks the different motivational factors and if the rankings differ depending on gender, age, education, type of employment, time of employment, employer, income and ethnic background. The thesis is based on a questionnaire study with a total of 97 participants. The questionnaire was constructed with the help of prior similar studies conducted in the USA and Malaysia over a sixty-year time period. These studies are then used to analyze the results. The participants in our thesis were given ten motivational factors to rank according to what they believed motivated them the most.

När en person med demenssjukdom blir inlagd på sjukhus : en litteraturstudie som belyser omvårdnadspersonalens perspektiv.

Bakgrund: Vi har idag en stor del inläggningar av patienter på sjukhus som lider av någon form av demenssjukdom. Omvårdnaden av kroppsligt sjuka patienter som har en demensdiagnos är komplex eftersom dessa har speciella behov relaterat till sina kognitiva, funktionella och beteendemässiga förändringar. Denna komplexa vård kan bli svårhanterlig för omvårdnadspersonalen i sjukhusmiljö vilket kan leda till att omvårdnaden blir lidande Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva omvårdnadspersonalens syn på och upplevelser av att vårda patienter med demenssjukdomar som är inlagda på sjukhus. Metod: En allmän litteraturstudie gjordes på ett systematiskt sätt, resultatet baserades på åtta kvalitativa originalartiklar Resultat: Resultatet utgår från tre olika huvudkategorier: Omvårdnadspersonalens upplevelse av och syn på sin egen roll i vården av patienter med demenssjukdom, omvårdnadspersonalens upplevelse av och syn på patienter med demenssjukdom och deras behov samt omvårdnadspersonalens upplevelse av och syn på ledningen, organisationen och miljön i relation till patienter med demenssjukdom. Slutsats: Värdigheten och integriteten av personer med demenssjukdom försvinner på sjukhusavdelningarna på grund av att den personcentrerade vården minskar då omvårdnadspersonalen har en stereotyp bild av personer med demenssjukdom, eftersom det finns tidsbrist på avdelningarna, att miljön på avdelningarna inte är optimal för denna patientkategori samt att sjukhusledningarna tar fel beslut och inte har tillräcklig förståelse för situationen på avdelningarna..

Konsten att enas under ett varumärke : Intern varumärkesuppbyggnad på Nordiska Kompaniet

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine how a company with a single brand is perceived as uniform, as well as how they use internal brand building to reconcile various competing actors within one brand. Furthermore the aim is to examine how staff, through internal brand building processes, perceives and identifies themself with the values of the common brand. Method: A case study with method triangulation was conducted at Nordiska Kompaniet department store in Stockholm. Quantitative data through a questionnaire survey with employees combined with two observations. Qualitative data was given through an email interview with a responsible manager of digital channels and PR from NK AB.Theories: This study has used the following theories; Destination marketing, Corporate brand, internal branding, corporate identity, corporate culture, brand value, service brand values, brand citizenship behaviour.Conclusion: This case study of NK has shown that internal branding building in a department store is a comprehensive work, which all involved must have a unified perception and understanding of the brand, in order to successful unite under one brand.

In view of the difficulty of recruiting staff to care profession and in terms of the increasing need to find ways of ensuring a good language level in the profession, have an interest in language tests been revealed. The purpose of this paper is therefore to highlight the use of language tests for admission to the care courses for adults in Värmland. What provided This is a survey of the prevalence and an examination of the validity of the test. The issue that this study assumed is: How is language test in connection with admission to the certified health and social care courses for adults in Värmland? How well correlates intent of the use of the language test with the test's validity and reliability?The methods used to seek answers to these questions has been a combination of questionnaires and experiments.

Sexuellt självförtroende. : Hur tenderar vuxna skatta sitt sexuella självförtroende?

ObjectiveThe aim of this study was to explore nurses' experiences of informing relatives to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU).MethodThe study was descriptive with a qualitative approach. Nine nurses were interviewed. The study took place in a university hospital in the midst of Sweden. An interview guide was used, designed in consensus with the study questions. Data was analyzed via qualitative content analysis.FindingsMeeting and preparing relatives at the arrival at the ICU seemed valuable and led to safety and participation among relatives.

The company's main task is to cut, store and deliver production steel and tool steel to processing companies in the surrounding region. Stena Stål AB in Värnamo is one of total 21 companies in the company group Stena Stål. Stena Stål is a part of the Stena corporate group which owns a total of eight different company groups that are spread in about 250 different locations in 14 countries.The purpose of this report is to give Stena Stål AB in Värnamo suggestions on how to design a new facility for tool steel.

Mycket behöver förändras! Barnmorskors uppfattning om postpartumvård när barnet behöver neonatalvård

Aim: To examine how midwives describe good and safe postpartum care of mothers with infants in neonatal care, and which prerequisites and obstacles they see to giving good and safe care while minimizing time of separation. Method: Semi structured qualitative interviews with ten midwives at two maternity wards in Uppsala. The interviews were recorded, transcribed verbatim and processed by manifest analysis. Results: Three categories were identified, Good and safe care, Organization as an obstacle and The midwife role. Good and safe postpartum care of mothers with infants in neonatal care required knowledge, appropriate equipment, good guidelines, possibility to see the mother, contact between mother and infant and good collaboration between the maternity and neonatal wards.
