Unlike previous research, this thesis considers the possibility of regarding the morning prayers in Swedish schools as preaching, rather than teaching. 28 morning prayers, delivered in the church of S:t Johannes in the city of Malmö during 1939-1954 by the religious teacher Astri Heimer (1889-1986), constitutes the material for analysis. The purpose of this thesis is to examine if Heimer's morning prayers may be regarded as preaching, and to discuss the significance of this, in particular considering her role as leader of morning prayers.The examination is conducted in three steps. The first step investigates how morning prayers in general ought to be understood - as teaching or preaching? This is done by describing and comparing the literary genres of religious teaching and preaching, looking into the rules and principles which define the field of application.

För att ett lyckat förändringsarbete ska kunna ske krävs att verksamheten har en hög kompetens och att fokus ligger på patienten. Syftet med studien var att belysa faktorer som inverkar på sjuksköterskans möjligheter att initiera, bedriva och påverka förändringsarbete inom hälso- och sjukvården. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie där 18 vetenskapliga artiklar granskades.

Purpose:  The purpose of this paper is that from the physical travel agencies perspective try to see how they perceive their future, knowing that the booking on Internet has increased.Problem: What are the prospects for future development of the physical travel agency? Has the technological development affected the physical travel agency and forced it to change its role and meaning?Method: This paper has a qualitative approach. Interviews have been made with employees on physical travel agencies to try to reach a deeper understanding and thereafter be able to give us an understanding of our problem.Conclusion: The physical travel agency has been given a new role as the employees are no longer seen as sellers but more regarded to as consultants. The travel agency has become more of an information bank than just a shop where travels are being sold. Despite this change, we believe that customers will continue to visit the physical travel agents because of the unique knowledge and services they can provide that Internet not yet can offer.

Bakgrund:För att ge patientsäker omvårdnad utifrån ett etiskt- och holistiskt förhållningssätt behövs välutbildade sjuksköterskor. Den verksamhetsförlagda utbildningen inom sjuksköterskeprogrammet ska medverka till att praktiska omvårdnadskunskaper införlivas och grundläggs hos den blivande sjuksköterskan. Det är viktigt att sjuksköterskestudenten får ut så mycket som möjligt av sin verksamhetsförlagda utbildning för att vara förberedd för det kommande yrkeslivet. För att förbättra kommande studenters lärandemöjligheter är därför en beskrivning av tidigare studenters erfarenheter och upplevelser av att lära sig omvårdnad på verksamhetsförlagd utbildning relevant att studera.Syfte:Att beskriva avgörande situationer som leder till att sjuksköterskestudenten lär sig omvårdnad under verksamhetsförlagd utbildning.Metod:Kvalitativ studie. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease can limit patients physical abilities and contribute to social isolation. The purpose of this literature study is to investigate men's and women's experiences of living with chronic obstructive pulmonary dis-ease, and the supporting and guiding role of the nurse to an increased quality of life. 13 critical reviewed articles were used to find the answers to our questions. Quality rating forms were used in order to guarantee a good scientific quality. The results show that, it is of great importance for the COPD-patients well-being to experience social support from those around them, and to have a close relation-ship with their families and friends, in order to experience quality of life.

ABSTRACTBackground: As a nurse it is a part of your work description to precepting students. A good relationship between preceptor and student is important for a successful precepting witch can be rewarding for both parties. There are many studies on how nurses in hospital departments experience precepting students, however it is not as explored in the prehospital care.Objective: To describe ambulance nurses' experience of precepting nursing students in the third and final year of university-level nursing school.Method: A qualitative study was conducted. Nine respondents at two ambulance stations in central Sweden were selected with the help of strategic convenience sample. The informants were nurses with specialist education in ambulance/prehospital care who had experience of working in the ambulance unit for at least a year.Result: The majority of participants were positive to precepting students and the time seemed adequate.

The aim of this study has been to highlight how school social workers experience their discretion, and furthermore how they feel about working in a context mainly dedicated to teachers. The study is executed with a qualitative research method where ten interviews with school social workers, in eight schools in the area of Stockholm have been conducted. The theoretical framework used to analyze the results was discretion, street-level bureaucracy and human service organizations.The main findings of this study imply that the most important ambition of the social work that was conducted in the schools was to help the students reach their knowledge goals. The assignment is, however, not clearly defined, which has lead to school social workers defining the mission and goals themselves. They all have wide discretion and great possibilities to decide how to execute their work, but how they use the freedom that was given seems to vary among them.

Bröstcancer är den cancerform som är vanligast hos kvinnor. Att drabbas av bröstcancer äroerhört traumatiskt och livsomvälvande. Kvinnor som överlever bröstcancer upplever att livetförändrats till följd av sjukdomen. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur unga kvinnor iåldern 19-44 år som drabbats av bröstcancer och överlevt upplevt sin sjukdomsresa; fråndiagnosen bröstcancer till att vara en överlevare, och genom att veta mer om vadbröstcancerpatienten går igenom belysa hur sjuksköterskan kan vara ett bättre stöd under ochefter sjukdomsförloppet. Detta är viktigt för att veta hur sjuksköterskan kan vara ett bättrestöd för unga bröstcancerpatienter samt hur sjuksköterskan kan underlätta för dessa kvinnoratt komma tillbaka till livet och vardagen efter att behandlingarna avslutats.

Background: Surgical complications has been the main cause of medical injuries and deaths worldwide. In 2008 WHO developed the checklist for safe surgery to reduce the number of surgical complications. The objective of the checklist is to strengthen already established safety routines and contribute to better cooperation and communication. Research shows that compliance to the checklist is deficient, which can affect patient safety.Aim: The aim was to study the extent to which theatre nurses participate in the use of the checklist.Method: Observational study was conducted with a descriptive design and quantitative approach. 24 observations were carried out with aid of an observation protocol of two surgical units at a hospital in central Sweden.Result: The results showed that Timeout initiated widely but compliance to all items was considerably lower.
