Cancerbeskedet kan komma som en chock och skapa en krisreaktion hos patienten då livsvärlden förändras och ett lidande uppstår. Lidandet beskrivs som en ofrånkomlig del i livet, dock finns det onödigt lidande, i form av vårdlidande, som bör undvikas.

Background: The background shows that since the consumption patterns constantly are changing and the Internet usage is growing it creates more opportunities for the companies to interact through new media. People with dementia often have difficulties expressing their needs. Untreated pain within this group can be manifested as depression, agitation or loss in appetite. It can be a challenging task for a nurse to estimate, treat and evaluate pain for people with dementia. With good knowledge and an empathic approach, nurses can often recognize and relieve pain amongst these people. Despite this, litterature often suggest that unrecognized and untreated pain is common within this group..

The investigation analyzed the implementation and application of the Swedish National Archives' new Process-Oriented Archives Description Model to activities of the hierarchical, function-oriented and decentralized university organizations.The basic reason why a new archive description has evolved is because documents are becoming more and more digital. It requires a new interpretation of how evidence is secured for their reliability and authenticity, and a new way of looking at provenance, for the purpose of describing and searching electronic documents. The new archive description model's logical structure is based on business processes.The relationship between the new archive description and a function-oriented organization's activities can be seen from the different outlooks of processes between archive activities and activities of the organization. It is also reflected in the modification that all universities have made ??of the new archive description model to be more flexible and pragmatic to fit a function-oriented organization.The relationship between provenance and process-oriented archive description is mainly the link between documents and business processes that produce them.

How can the Swedish church Västerås communicate uniform, with the intent to create mutual value with the target group?The purpose of the study is to make recommendations to the Swedish church Västerås for their prospective communication plan by examining their profile and target group's image and expectations of the organization. The study also aims to examine how the Swedish church Västerås can communicate their brand uniform.The study applies a qualitative research with deductive approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with a sample of the employees and focus groups with a sample of the target group.Better match between profile and image means that SkVs employees better understand the organization and can communicate more uniform which leads to a stronger brand identity. If SkV understands what is relevant for their target group, they can reduce the total cost of customer delivered value and thus increase the total value.

Germany has experienced low birth rates ever since the 1970s when they fell below the replacement levels of 2,1 children per woman. Since then, their birth rate has been around 1,5 children per woman, which has caused an overall aging population. The consequences of the declining birth rates is that the previous generations are becoming larger than the younger generations. This demographic shift raises concern about how its potential implications might affect different aspects of the country and its economy overall. The aim of this paper is to try to discern the dynamic between the share of the labor force in relation to total population, with the share of pensioners in relation to the total population.

SAMMANFATTNING BAKGRUND Syftet med studien var att få information om anhörigas upplevelse av vården på en av fem geriatriska avdelningar i Uppsala län 2008. Studien undersökte upplevelsen av tillgäng­lighet, delaktig­het, information och bemötande. En jämförelse gjordes för att se om skill­nader fanns mel­lan den studerade avdelningen (grupp 1, n=39) och de tidigare studerade geriatriska avdelning­arna (grupp 2, n=162). METOD Studien är deskriptiv och jämförande med kvantitativ metod och analysen utfördes med deskriptiv statistik. Antal anhöriga som deltog var 39 av 50 tillfrågade (n=78 %).

Att vara med om en amputation innebär ett stort trauma för den enskilde. För att som sjuksköterska kunna ha ett professionellt förhållningssätt gentemot patienten krävs det god självkännedom, empati och kunskap inom området. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att söka kunskap om hur sjuksköterskan på bästa sätt kan stödja, förhålla sig och vårda traumatiskt amputerade patienter. Hur vi som sjuksköterskor på bästa sätt kan lindra lidandet för den drabbade och dennes närstående. De vetenskapliga artiklarna som ingick i studien söktes genom databaserna CINAHL, PubMed och PsycINFO samt framtogs genom personlig kommunikation med docent Hans Granhed, ortopedkliniken SU/ Mölndal.

One of the means that can be used for governing and controlling a business is management control. The use of management control in inter-organisational contexts is a quite unexplored area of research at the present time, which might seem somewhat surprising considering the fact that inadequate control is a common explanation for why inter-organisational relationships fail.

Organizations, whether public or private, must be where their audience is and many times, these can be found on social media channels like Facebook. Leading researchers in the fields of crisis communication and relationship management believe that social media is a great tool for managing relationships between an organization and its' public, whether it's before, during or after a crisis.The purpose of this study is to examine how the Karlstad municipality use Facebook to manage civic relations before, during and after a crisis. The municipality's approach will be compared to the citizens' experiences of the municipality's communication in different stages of a crisis.The theoretical framework used in this essay is the research on crisis communication and relationship management. How these two frameworks can be integrated with social media like Facebook, is an important part of understanding how the Karlstad municipality make use of Facebook to manage civic relations and communicate before, during and after a crisis.The empirical study consists of a qualitative interview, two qualitative content analysis and an online survey.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the process and result of renovations in socioeconomic vulnerable areas affect the residents' right to housing; with a focus on women's experiences of their homes, their area, the housing company's apartment renovations. The study is conducted through two research questions: How do the women in L?vg?rdet experience their homes and the area? And how do the women in L?vg?rdet experience the process and the result of the renovations of the rental apartments? The methodology used is qualitative research interviews. The empirical material was gathered through qualitative interviews. Eight women living in L?vg?rdet have been interviewed.

Risk management is a key competency that is constantly being researched how it can be improved within project management. The risk management process consists of four major steps: identify risks, assess the risks? significance on the project, evaluate and address the key risks and follow up.The majority of companies seem to neglect certain identified risks, and decide not to mitigate if the risk does not cause adverse effects to the business. To counteract undesirable consequences and help organisations to become more effective at managing risks an initial work has been conducted for a risk repository.The project develops a proposal on the design of a risk repository which aim to effectively support a database implementation.
