This essay is about two Swedish folk musicians, Anders Rosén and Leif Stinnerbom, who have been playing two important rolls in the developing process of Swedish folk music, on their separate ways. The main part of this work is focused on the era called ?The Folk Music Vogue?, which was the era when my informants were in the limelight on the Swedish fiddler scene of the 70s.Our music culture is constantly lying under the change of progress and I find it interesting to reflect how these kinds of changes are affecting the role of the musician.In this essay I am reflecting on the different perspectives of the musicianship according to my informants and how they both are referring to their role as musicians. The purpose is further on to see how they have been relating to the change of progress on the field of the Swedish folk music during the 70s and up to this date. Throughout interviews with the informants I am analyzing their personal relationship to their life as folk musicians.

Background: The patient meets nurses in the emergency department that provide both nursing and has medical skills. The care that the patients are receiving should be individually adjusted. The care is shaped by the individual meeting with the patient according to the nursing theorist Orlando. There are large variations between the number of patients in an emergency department and it sets high demands on the staff, both physically and mentally. When the emergency department is highly loaded there is a priority for medical care and psycho-social and aesthetic aspects will have to wait.

Abstract          Background: End of life is difficult to establish in patients with dementia and many patients die due to complications related to the disease. To document that care are palliative in this group of patients is not common among nurses and physicians. This may depend on that the palliative course is extended and not similar to the palliative course common among patients with cancer. Aim: To describe how the registered staff in nursing homes document the care of persons with dementia in a late palliative phase. Method: A retrospective record study with a deductive approach.

The overall objective of prenatal care and birth care is that midwives contribute in creating the most positive experience of pregnancy, child birth and infancy as possible. During the past 30 years there has been a significant increase in sectiofrequency both in Sweden and the rest of the Western world. More parents feel an overall insecurity when it comes to child labour. The purpose of this study was to describe how midwives experience the work of creating a sense of security and good nursing when meeting the expectant parents.

This Master Thesis investigates changes in Thailand's foreign policy towards its neighbouring country Burma. It argues that Thai foreign policy towards Burma has experienced major changes during four periods between 1945 and the present. The thesis investigates these foreign policy changes during the four periods. What changes occurred? What were the reasons for the changes? What reasons dominated during what periods? The four periods of Thai foreign policy changes towards Burma and the common history of the two countries since their respective foundations does not suggest a stable peaceful relationship or a bitter hostile relationship leading to war.

We have examined how the dependence, identity and social bonds affect customer loyalty and attachment to a training centre. The method used is a survey on SATS Karlstad city where 128 respondents were asked, out of which 118 surveys were used in the final analysis. The data was analyzed using ANCOVA and multiple regressions.The result showed significant relationships on attachment between identity and dependence. Social bonds had no significant effect on the attachment a member have towards training centre. Customer loyalty was measured by how long the individual has been a member and his or her training frequency.

Instrumental music teacher's stories about their music teaching.This paper focuses on how instrumental music teachers describe their own significance for- and relationship to the pupils and if the teacher-pupil relationship has any significance for the pupil's success in music learning. How important are the teachers? What kind of teaching behaviours do the teachers emphasize in their telling? The theoretical background is psychology and educational theory. My research method is qualitative, particularly interviews.

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva upplevelser av omvårdnadshandledning, så som den erfarits av sjuksköterskestudenter vid en högskola i södra Sverige under perioden 2007 -2009. Omvårdnadshandledning ingår som en obligatorisk del av utbildningen och påbörjas under utbildningens andra termin i form av regelbundet återkommande gruppträffar, ca fyra gånger per termin, och fortgår sedan under resterande del av studietiden. Då det har noterats att behållningen av omvårdnadshandledning skiljer sig radikalt mellan olika studenter finns det ett intresse hos författarna av att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar densamma. Studien är en kvalitativ intervjustudie. Nio sjuksköterskestudenter deltog i studien som genomfördes med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer. Vid tolkningsarbetet av datan har författarna låtit sig inspireras av fenomenografin, där olikheter, snarare än likheter belyses.

The purpose of this essay is to investigate how lyrics of indie-pop music represent gender, sexuality and love. The lyrics used is from love songs performed by Håkan Hellström and Veronica Maggio. The method for examining the lyrics of the love songs is discourse- theory and analysis.

Introduktion: Vid en riskförlossning är det viktigt att det finns ett fungerande samarbete mellan vårdpersonalen på neonatal och förlossningen då omvårdnaden inkluderar både mor och barn och de bör ses som en helhet.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att beskriva barnsjuksköterskors upplevelse av samarbete mellan neonatal och förlossningen vid riskförlossning. Metod: En kvalitativ metod med en fenomenologisk ansats användes i denna pilotstudie. Två barnsjuksköterskor intervjuades.Resultat: Studiens resultat redovisas under fyra huvudteman, Att det finns ett samarbete, Att befinna sig i olika organisationer, Att tränas i samarbete och Att förbereda föräldrarna genom samarbete. This paper is an attempt to re-read Walter Benjamin?s essay ?critique of violence? by separating what we here presume being its three-part core or axis, namely Right (rätt, as in Law), Justice (rättvisa) and Violence (våld), and then make an inquiry into the relationship between them, or, to what extent these three parts relate to each other. The method for doing so is at first a close-up reading of Benjamin?s text, where the core parts are being mentioned. Thereafter we will take a look at some of the most prominent attempts to read Benjamin to see to what extent their interpretation is compatible to ours.
