The following paper is about degrading treatment in preschools and the essay discuss degrading treatment according to the Swedish school law, in preschools and the chosen focus for this study is three to four year old children. The aim is to see whether or not preschool children proceed with degrading treatment towards other children and if preschool teachers believe that children this young have the ability to do so. The questions for this study are: Can children proceed with degrading treatment towards each other? Which conflicts evolve through children?s interactions? Can children in pre-schools have a degrading behavior? To answer these questions participant observation at two preschools and interviews with four preschool teachers were chosen as method. The perspective of this paper is based on the view on children as actors, which is used to acknowledge and enhance the possibilities of letting the children?s own voices be heard.

Hypertension is one of the most common reasons for visiting primary care. It is one of the most important modifiable risk factors for cardiovascular disease, suffering and death. Lifestyle change, such as increased physical activity is the foundation of treatment of hypertension. Lifestyle change starts as a process in which patients can be helped by a nurse through conscious communication, educate and support increased physical exercise.AimThe aim of this study was to investigate the district nurse´s experiences of interacting with patients with hypertension about physical activity.MethodIndividual qualitative study. Ten nurses from health center were interviewed.

Hållbarhetsfrågan i klädbranschen är fortfarande i en utvecklingsfas och tidigare forskning visar att det finns ett flertal möjliga faktorer som är bidragande till att kunder i dagsläget inte konsumerar på ett sätt som går i linje med deras värderingar. Syftet är att utforska hur kunder kan engageras att främja hållbarhetsaspekten vid klädinköp. För att uppfylla syftet utformas två forskningsfrågor. Metoden är en flerfaldig strategi med ett huvudsakligt kvalitativt fokus. Angreppssättet är abduktivt genom kombination av deduktion och induktion. Studien består av en kvantitativ enkätundersökning följt av kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer.

The aim of this thesis is to use Gabriel Tardes theories concerning imitation, repetition and the public opinion as a way of understanding how transmedial communication develops over time. This involves a study of social media, traditional press and public organizations in relation to each other. The campaign, What are you doing? (Vad håller du på med?, 2013), launched by the Swedish military as a way of drafting more soldiers, is used as an example of how the theories can be applied to help us understand connections, patterns and social behavior in the rapid mutation and viral spreading of information. By discussing the campaign and its effects, the ambition is to give an understanding of how a campaign of this scale could be planned for and structured.

The purpose of the study was to discover how nurses can maintain a good quality of life for cancerpatients at the end of life. We examined seven scientific articles in accordance with Polit, Beck & Hungler (2001) criteria for scientific validity. We used Carnevali's (1996) model of demand and resources as a frame of reference. The results showed that physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs affect quality of life in different ways. People with dementia often have difficulties expressing their needs. Untreated pain within this group can be manifested as depression, agitation or loss in appetite. It can be a challenging task for a nurse to estimate, treat and evaluate pain for people with dementia. Horses are social, group living animals that spend around 16-17 hours a day on grazing. Horses are often kept stabled in single boxes with a limited feeding time. I detta examensarbete har patienthotell Vistet i Sunderbyn, ett komplement till vårdavdelningarna på Sunderby sjukhus som strävar efter en hälsofrämjande miljö för att uppmuntra läkning undersökts (Norrbottens läns landsting, 2015). Syftet är att få en inblick hur patienthotellet har skapat en arbetsgrupp, undersöka hur sammansättningen av arbetsgruppen bidragit till arbetsmotivation, samt undersöka vad de anställda på patienthotellet motiverades av. Arbetet baseras på 11 intervjuer; verksamhetschef, sjuksköterskor, undersköterskor och servicemedarbetare ingår.

For doctors, nurses and other health-care organization employees this goal is achieved by NPÖ, National Patient Summary. NPÖ effectively enables health-care records to be shared across organizational boundaries. This thesis is based on a demand by a mobile application that can give district nurses access to health-care records wherever they are.This thesis describes the development of a prototype of a mobile application aimed for NPÖ. This includes investigating a suitable mobile platform, investigating available card readers for reading electronic identification from SITHS cards and the ability to connect to external services such as NPÖ.

Bakgrund: Sjuksköterskor som arbetar på barnavårdcentral (BVC-sjuksköterskor) träffar 99,2 procent av alla barn. De har därför en viktig funktion när det gäller att upptäcka och rapportera barn som far illa. Trots anmälningsplikt är anmälningsfrekvensen låg. Det råder brist på studier kring hur det blir för BVC-sjuksköterskor efter att de har gjort en anmälan.Syfte: Att ur ett etiskt perspektiv undersöka BVC-sjuksköterskors upplevelser och erfarenheter efter att de har anmält till socialtjänsten att barn far illa.Metod: Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med sex BVC-sjuksköterskor. Intervjuerna analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys på manifest nivå enligt Graneheim och Lundman.Resultat: BVC-sjuksköterskornas erfarenheter av samarbetet med socialtjänsten varierade.

In a possible future weaker business climate, the importance of marketing becomes accentuated for firms that aim to maintain their sales levels. We can see trends that competition among the Swedish and foreign manufactures is already stepping up. The intent of this study is to establish marketing guidelines for floor- and molding manufacturers, so they can establish a clearer brand image in DIY retail outlets. By comparing the approach of sports- and DIY stores to brand and product placement, this study aims to bring new knowledge to the DIY branch for improved consumer and product handling.

Background: Animals are used in several health care areas and have been shown to promote many aspects of patients? health. Animals have potential for use in nurses? health promotion work. Nurses need a deeper understanding of the importance and health-promoting properties of animal-assisted therapy.Aim: The aim was to describe the importance of animal assisted therapy for patients? health.Methods: A literature review was conducted based on ten nursing science studies with both qualitative and quantitative approaches, which were selected after critical review.

The purpose of this study was to create a deeper understanding for, and shine a light on the exit process for former criminal gang members. Which conditions appear to be important and what may constitute the enabling and inhibiting factors of an exit process? The study was based on qualitative semi-structured interviews with respondents who themselves have experience of a criminal lifestyle and gang affiliation, and with professionals in social work. Our theoretical approach is based on Helen Ebaugh?s definition of an exit process, labeling theories, strain theory and control theory.
