Aim: The aim of this study was to describe how immigrants have experienced nurse's attitude and how they would like nurse´s to care for them in the Swedish health care. Method: The authors have conducted an interview study with qualitative approach. The sampling method used was a convenience sample. The informants were recruited at a school after the authors received the principal's approval. Eight semi-structured interviews were performed with an interview guide for support.

Syfte: Föreliggande litteraturstudies syfte var att belysa sjuksköterskors erfarenheter av deras arbete i den palliativa vården. Problemformuleringen grundades av att författarna anser att det inte läggs så stor vikt vid palliativ vård i undervisningen i grundutbildningen för sjuksköterskor och att sjuksköterskor möter patienter i ett palliativt skede nästan överallt i vården och förhoppningen är att studien ska leda till ökad förståelse för sjuksköterskans arbetssituation. Metod: Databassökningar gjordes i ELIN@kalmar, Cinahl, PubMed och PsycInfo med sökorden palliative care, caring, nursing, nurse, hospice, work, support, experience, specialist, district nurse. Ytterligare sökningar gjordes sent i arbetet med andra sökord i Cinahl och PubMed. Efter granskning inkluderades totalt 10 artiklar.

För att ge föräldrarna i den svenska barnhälsovården ett bra och individuellt stöd är det viktigt att det skapas en god vårdrelation mellan föräldrar och sjuksköterska. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa de faktorer som är betydelsefulla för vårdrelationen mellan föräldrar och sjuksköterska i barnhälsovården i Sverige. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie. Nio vetenskapliga kvantitativa och kvalitativa artiklar granskades avseende vetenskaplig kvalité och analyserades därefter. I resultatet framkom fyra kategorier av faktorer som påverkar vårdrelationen mellan föräldrar och sjuksköterska i barnhälsovården.

The purpose of this Master thesis is to investigate how the relation between users and librarians is affected by higher education librarians? talk about information literacy. The thesis uses Norman Fairclough?s critical discourse analysis in analysing four articles written by Swedish higher education librarians and in answering how information literacy, users and librarians are constituted. The analysis indicate that the questions have no distinct answers, there are discrepancies between, as well as within the texts.

Background: Sleeping is a condition that is necessary for all people because the body isgiven time to recover. Studies have shown that patients found it difficult to sleep during thehospital stay and it turned out to be several factors that disturbed the sleep during the night.The nurse should note the patient?s need for sleep and take into account environmental andother sleep disturbances to be able to implement nursing interventions. Background: Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in the world and it usually affects elderly women. However, there are between 600-700 cases per year in Sweden where women under the age of 45 are diagnosed. Removal of the breast or part of the breast, hair loss, fatigue and nausea as a result of the breast cancer treatment has an emotional and physical impact on the women?s lifeworld. The nurse should build a relationship with the women to identify and meet their needs. Aim: To describe younger women?s experiences of getting a breast cancer diagnosis and life afterwards.Method: Four biographical books were analyzed to match the aim of the study.Result: The findings were that the women experience similar thoughts and feelings when it comes to living with a cancer diagnosis.

Metod: För att analysera detta fenomen gjordes en intervjustudie med kvalitativ design och en fenomenografisk analys tillämpades. Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes där nio skötare verksamma i den psykiatriska vården vid tiden för intervjutillfället deltog. Med avsikt att finna variation bland uppfattningarna bearbetades och analyserades det transkriberade materialet i en analys omfattande sju steg. Resultat: Fyra kategorier av skötarnas uppfattningar identifierades: Osynlig kompetens, otydlig kompetens, synlig kompetens och tydlig kompetens.

AbstractBackgroundWorking in primary care with chronic leg ulcers is both time-consuming and difficult. There is a large category of patients with leg ulcers, that is expected to increase in a number of years, and many of them will probably come to a district nurse for help.AimThe aim of this study was to describe the district nurses' experiences of caring for patients with chronic leg ulcers in primary care.MethodThe approach was qualitative. The study was done with a phenomenological life-world approach. Seven district nurses working in primary care were interviewed. The phenomenological perspective focuses on the respondents? own life-world and has openness to the interviewee's own experiences.

Bakgrund: Diabetes är en kronisk metabol sjukdom och det finns två sorter. Typ 1 kallas den som orsakas av bristande insulinproduktion. Nordiska riktlinjerna för barn och ungdomar rekommenderar 60 minuter fysisk aktivitet per dag. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa vikten av fysisk aktivitet hos barn och ungdomar med typ 1 diabetes samt vilka faktorer som påverkar deras fysiska aktivitet. Metod: En litteraturstudie innehållande 16 vetenskapliga artiklar som erhållits genom databaserna PubMed och Cinahl. Dessa har granskats, kvalitetsbestämts och sammanfattats. Resultatet har därefter analyserats och presenterats under två huvudteman med tillhörande subteman. Resultat: Efter granskning av de involverade artiklarna framkommer det att den fysiska aktiviteten är viktig för barn och ungdomar med typ 1 diabetes.

Objective ? To study the requirement of nursing care of the equine patient during eye treatment with a lavage system together with a constant rate infusion pump. Procedures ? Three veterinary nurses at ATG: s Hästsjukhus in Skara were asked nine questions at individual interviews. Inclusion criteria for participation in the interview were that the nurse should have treated equines with and without the infusion pump to the lavage system, but also traditionally with eye drops. Results ? The equine had a higher well-being since it experienced less stress during eye treatment with the infusion pump compared to treatment given by hand through the lavage system. The treatment would be more effective with constant rate infusion and save costs for the owner.
