The Essay starts with studying the time after the Second World War and its boom, the force behind many of the abandoned locations we see in our city today. Thereafter the idea of place is looked into, its importance for the individual and how the own individual experience affects the experience of place. It is about how we can create own places and through that recapture the city and give it meaning and contents again. The social aspects are being discussed as an important component of creating a feeling of reality. Further studies the abandoned rooms historical values since the past have an ability to raise the experience of a place. How decayed depends highly of economy and how we have gotten so used to changes that we accept capitalism as a driving force to decay is also being discussed. Thereafter the planers roll for the abandoned places in the city is being raised.

Bakgrund: Fördelarna med amning är välkända men trots det avbryter många svenska mödrar sin amning tidigare. Att avbryta amningen kan för en del mödrar vara problematisk och leda till skuldkänslor. Tidigare studier visar att brister i stödet ökar känslor av frustration, förvirring och tvivel hos mödrarna. Syfte: Att beskriva vilken erfarenhet distriktssköterskan inom barnhälsovården har av att stödja mödrar som valt att avbryta amningen. Metod: Studien har en kvalitativ ansats där semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med tio distriktssköterskor.

The aim of this essay is to bring up and mediate a teacher?s life story and professional history to take part of her experience of an animated pedagogy. As a tool I use the life story method, which is a qualitative interview method which purpose is to put the narrative person?s life history in the centre.One of the goals for an animated pedagogy is to learn how to be. Animated pedagogy is about making teaching living and making it meaningful and exciting.

The objective of this thesis was to investigate how young adults view their own employabilityand to see if there was a connection between their view and their social background. Themethod used in the thesis is qualitative with a hermeneutic approach. The interviews includedwere of semi-structured kind. The main result is that respondents in the thesis expressed similarviews on their perceived employability regarding commitment and energy at work, networkingand contacts and job discrimination but there were some distinctions noted regardingtheir view on education and working life experience. The respondents from working classbackgrounds tended to focus more on education than the respondents from middle class/uppermiddle class backgrounds.

Grunden för omvårdnadsvetenskapen är Caritas motivet, mellanmänskliga kärleken, som kan visas i former av ansning, lekande och lärande. Det finns djupt inflätade normer i samhället som styr vad som är manligt och vad som är kvinnligt. Dessa normer komplicerar rollerna för män som innehar kvinnodominerade yrken, t.ex. män inom sjuksköterskeyrket.Syfte: Att ur ett genusperspektiv belysa hur manliga sjuksköterskor identifierar sig i sin yrkesroll.Metoden: Metoden är en litteraturöversikt av 11 kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar, publicerade de senaste 13 åren.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how the elderly people experience the food on a sheltered accommodation. We will examine nutrition in the food and if the elderly people have an influence on food they gets everyday. The aim of this study was to examine older persons? everyday experiences of food within the context of homes for the elderly. More specifically, nutrition and the personal experiences of influence concerning choice of food were examined.

Futurum.kom is a collaborative marketing project with the aim of strengthening the internal organization of Länsbibliotek Sydost, Regionbibliotek Kalmar and the 25 public libraries within the southeast region. The project intends to externally build the brands of the public libraries in Blekinge, Kalmar and Kronobergs län. This thesis is a study and evaluation of the implementation and results of Futurum.kom?s first campaign "Låna dig rik" at a public library. The analysis is based on the following issues:? What goals does the library have with the "Låna dig rik"-campaign.? What is the feedback from the staff's experience of the users in terms of needs and demands?? In which way does the library choose to implement the marketing campaign and what role do the users have in this process?? What is the internal performance of the library's marketing campaign, what was the experience of the staff of the campaign?? What is the external result of the library's marketing campaign?The method is based on a case study of a single library, with a series of interviews and document analysis of written and electronic documents.

Title: Elderly deaf - The significance of an own senior housing. A qualitative interview studyon how special senior housing affects the experience of well-being of elderly deaf [translated title]The purpose of the study was to examine how elderly deaf people experience living in aspecial senior housing, which is the country?s first and only housing with sign language fordeaf and deafblind in the region of Stockholm. The focus was to study how this seniorhousing affected the well-being of the residents and their experience of this accommodation.The study was based on a qualitative method with semi-structured interviews. Interviews wereconducted with four residents who have lived in the senior housing for deaf and deafblindpeople since it opened in spring 2013.

The purpose of this study was to examine how young people who have chosen not to drink alcohol experience themselves and their surroundings. The aim was to find out what role temperance plays in their perceived identity. I also wanted to find out how they experienced the views of them, temperance and the temperance movement in their surroundings. INTRODUKTION: Det finns studier som beskriver ungdomars upplevelser av skolhälsovård, hälsosamtal och ungdomars syn på hälsa och ohälsa men det saknas studier kring hur ungdomar upplever hälsokontrollens praktiska moment vägning och mätning. För att optimera bemötandet av eleverna inom skolhälsovården är kunskaper om deras upplevelser av stor betydelse. Föreliggande arbete är en forskningsplan.SYFTE: Syftet är att beskriva ungdomars upplevelser av hälsokontrollen i årskurs åtta med avseende på mätning av vikt och längd.METOD: En pilotstudie som bygger på fyra intervjuer har genomförts för att testa metoden. Innehållet i intervjuerna analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.RESULTAT: Analysen av intervjuerna resulterade i fem kategorier som beskriver ungdomarnas upplevelser. Dessa kategorier var: oro, förväntan, trygghet, glädje och bekräftelse.KONKLUSION: Pilotstudien visade att det var främst dålig längdtillväxt som oroade eleverna.

The aim of this thesis is to study whether social welfare secretaries experience occupational pride and what affects this feeling. Previously made research indicate that occupational pride is essential for performance and work-related health. Research has also shown that social welfare secretaries often experience unhealthiness due to working conditions and a lack of professional self-esteem.This thesis is based on four qualitative interviews which have focused especially on critical incidents, according to the critical incident technique. This study has a hermeneutic, interpretative approach. As a theoretical framework, Pierre Bourdieu? s theory on social space and positions aswell as Aaron Antonovsky´s theory on Sence of coherence have been used. The result shows that the interviewed social welfare secretaries do experience occupational pride.

The aim of this study was to gain understanding and knowledge about first line manager?s need for support in their leadership and to get more insight into how they handle and perceives their work.The research method is based on studies of relevant theories and qualitative interviews. Eight respondents were interviewed with a structured 40 question questionnaire about how they experience their work and the support they get. The study shows that there are three important categories of people that are most significant to the managers in their need of support. They are their own manager, colleagues and co-workers.The conclusion is that it is important to create conditions for leaders to have good relationships with their closest manager, colleagues and co ?workers.

Bakgrunden var att överbeläggningar inom akutsjukvården har ökat de senaste åren i och med högre patientantal.Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva sjuksköterskans upplevelser av arbetet vid överbeläggningar på en akutmottagning.Metoden var en kvalitativ deskriptiv design där information samlades in via intervjuer. För att analysera data från de åtta informanterna valdes en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Studien genomfördes på en akutmottagning i mellersta Sverige.Huvudresultatet från de åtta intervjuer som genomfördes skapade tre kategorier med tio subkategorier. Samtliga informanter berättade om sina upplevelser av att arbeta vid överbeläggningar. De mest frekventa upplevelserna handlade om en stressad och frustrerande arbetssituation.

Buller påverkar människor på många olika sätt, både fysiskt och psykiskt. Hörselskador, tinnitus, sömnproblem och koncentrationssvårigheter är några av effekterna av bullerstörning. Intensivvårdsavdelningen är en arbetsplats som är dokumenterat bullrig. Sjuksköterskor på intensivvårdsavdelning utsätts i sitt dagliga arbete för en hög bullernivå. Det är en apparattät och tekniskt avancerad miljö.

Introduktion:I litteraturen finns få studier som beskriver patientcentrerad vård i perioperativ vårdmiljö. Den patientcentrerade vården (PCV) syftar till att tillvarata patientens perspektiv för att kunna anpassa vården. Begreppet beskrivs som vård anpassad utifrån patientens behov och värderingar. Behoven identifieras, förutses, samordnas och integreras i vården. PCV kännetecknas av respekt och värdighet för patienten som ges valmöjlighet i alla situationer.Syfte:Studiens syfte var att undersöka operationssjuksköterskans uppfattning om patientcentrerad vård och hur det tar sig uttryck i den perioperativa vårdmiljönMetod:Studien bygger på semistrukturerade intervjuer som analyserats med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.
