Rostfritt stål till stora vattentankar utomhus : En jämförelse mellan austenitiska och rostfria stål

The austenitic stainless steel 316L has been compared to duplex stainless steels to be able to highlight a choice of material for manufacturing of spare tanks used for cooling water at nuclear power stations on the Swedish west coast. In this report 316L and the duplex stainless steels 2205, 2304 and LDX 2404 have been compared according to corrosion resistance, strength, manufacturing aspects and prices. The steels arranged by increasing corrosion resistance: 316L < 2304 < LDX 2404 < 2205. The steels arranged by increasing strength (considering the thickness of the plates needed for construction): 316L < 2304 < LDX 2404 and 2205. The steels arranged by increasing price/tank: 2304 < LDX 2404 < 2205 < 316L.

Priset är inte allt - en studie av svenska storföretags finansiering

This thesis describes how large Swedish companies finance their debt and identifies some factors that affect their decisions. The study is based on 10 well-known companies of which 9 are listed on Nasdaq OMX Nordic. The results show that the companies display several similarities concerning their debt structure and the factors which their choices are based upon. All companies in this study primarily use corporate bonds for their long-term borrowing, commercial papers for the short-term borrowing, and bank-facilities as back-up. There is a tendency that smaller companies in larger extent use bank-loans for long-term borrowing due to larger emissions costs when using market financing.

The purpose of this thesis has been to develop a tool for modelling and simulating the nuclear plant Ringhals 3. The model should be used to improve the knowledge on the dynamics of the plant. Ringhals 3 is being upgraded to produce more power and a tool for analyzing the new operating conditions is needed.The work in this thesis has consisted of improving and developing an existing model of Ringhals 3 made with the modelling tool Dymola. The model has been validated by comparing the results of a simulated house load transient with data from the actual plant. Validation shows good agreement with data from the real plant.

The purpose of this legal dogmatic Bachelor Thesis is to define the legal definition of ?a rescue service? and illustrate the division of responsibilities between national authorities and the municipalities with regards to the execution of emergency response operations.?A rescue service? means the emergency response actions that national and municipal authorities are legally obliged to provide to prevent or minimise injury to people and damage to property or the environment when emergencies occur or seem imminent. The purpose of this degree project is to study if there is a intentional work with technology in the elementary school, preschool to fifth grade, in a municipality. The work will also study what conditions there are in the schools in order to work with technology. 95 questionnaires were distributed to the responsible teachers in all primary schools in the municipality, from preschool to fifth grade. The results of the survey show that more than half of the respondents do not consider themselves to work with technology in the school. The conditions, in order to work with the school subject technology in the municipality, are primarily external such as: material, facilities and the ability to divide students into smaller groups.

Sophantering : En studie om integrering mellan fartyg, hamn och kommun

Vi ville, i och med denna uppsats, ge en beskrivning av de problem och konflikter som kanuppstå mellan fartyg, hamn och kommun gällande deras källsorteringssystem då tydliga reglerför detta saknas. Studien utfördes med syftet att beskriva problemen utifrån de olikaaktörernas perspektiv.Metoden som vi använde oss av var en kvalitativ studie med ett antal halvstruktureradeintervjuer. Vi valde denna metod eftersom den lämpar sig bäst för det valda ämnet då det intefinns mycket litteratur att stödja sig på.Resultatet vi kom fram till visade sig vara som väntat, ett befintligt problem som alla deinblandade aktörerna upplevt. Det som överraskade oss mest var att problemen hade enbetydligt större omfattning än vad vi trott från början. Det som alla aktörerna påpekade var attproblemen med källsortering måste uppmärksammas och med tiden lösas på ett, för allainblandade parter, smidigt sätt..

This study shows the thoughts, hopes and wishes of two male and two female music teachers, in grades 6 ? 9 from four different cities of Sweden. The emphasis lays on usage of digital tools. As the schools now stand before lots of changes in its curriculums; the use of digital tools was the main thing that caught my interest. How has the schools interpreted what this means? What does this mean in terms of purchases for the schools? We already know that many schools are lacking proper facilities to conduct music lessons so this ads on even larger needs.

Bakgrund: De flesta inomhusbadanläggningar är idag 30-60 år gamla och många anläggningar har stora problem med skador på både byggnader och bassänger. Skadorna är ofta så pass allvarliga att det inte längre är lönsamt att renovera utan på många platser planerar man att bygga nya bad. För att undvika framtida problem är det viktigt att dra lärdom av vilka skador och problem som har inträffat samt hur man vid nybyggnation och renovering ska kunna undvika dem. Vid byggande av dagens inomhusbadanläggningar tillämpas främst tidigare branscherfarenheter. Det faktum att så stora brister och omfattande problem förekommer, tyder på att kunskapen är otillräcklig.

Krafter på rörsystem vid transient flöde : En jämförelse mellan RELAP5 och Fluent

At Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB (FKA) forces on pipe systems due to transient flow are frequently calculated as a step to verify their structural integrity. In nuclear industries these forces are often calculated with a one dimensional thermal-hydraulic analysis-code called RELAP5. When calculations regarding more complex geometries are needed, the three dimensional code Fluent is often used. This code is highly time consuming and requires large computational power.This projects aim is to compare calculations of pressure, flow and forces carried out by RELAP5 and Fluent for an arbitrary pipe section during transient flow conditions. This has been accomplished by constructing a simple geometry for which a transient flow is simulated in both programs.
