Studiens syfte är att validera ett ledarskapstest (TKB) som för närvarande är under utveckling. Testet mäter ledares kognitioner, emotioner och beteenden i mötessituationer. De 65 respondenterna var alla verksamma som arbetsledare, mellanchef eller chef på högre nivå och bestod av 33 män och 32 kvinnor i olika åldersgrupper och branscher. En jämförelse gjordes mellan TKB-testet och Gordons test samt med skattningar utifrån utförda intervjuer. TKB-testets variabler jämfördes även med olika bakgrundsfaktorer.

Six cows were subjected to an intravenous glucose tolerance test (GTT) to evaluate the amount of glucose that is needed to stimulate the release of insulin from pancreas. Four of the cows were in early lactation and two were non-lactating and not pregnant. Series of blood-samples were collected to analyze the concentration of insulin and glucose in the blood. The cows were given lower levels of glucose than have been used in earlier glucose tolerance tests. The levels of glucose given were 7,5 mg/kg BW, 15 mg/kg BW, 30 mg/kg BW and 50 mg/kg BW.

To achieve this we collected data about the company through several interviews with respondents with good insight in the company. The critical variables that we obtained by analyzing the interviews are presented in an empirical driven model.

With gas prices persistently rising, electric and hybrid vehicles are getting more and more common and in recent years several new electric cars have evolved on the market. Although the energy consumption and low emissions are a huge benefit of the electric cars, they inevitably suffer from high prices, short range and time consuming recharging periods. To be able to withstand the competition it is important that electric vehicles not only can withstand general were and tare, but also the harsh conditions that ordinary cars is exposed to in daily usage. The purpose of this project is to develop a test methodology which replicate situations that could appear in daily usage of electric or hybrid cars and to understand the problems related to usage of electric cars in winter conditions. This paper also discusses the major differences between hybrid cars and electric cars.

Herbicide resistance is the result of an evolutionary process where a population gradually changes from being susceptible to being resistant to an herbicide. The resistance mechanism is usually a change in the biochemistry of the weed, but in some cases changes in morphology or growth rhythm. The change is caused by random mutations. Two resistance mechanisms are found in black-grass; target site resistance and metabolic resistance.Black-grass is a tufty, winter annual grass weed, which is mainly found in milder climates. Black-grass is a big problem in Southern Europe.

Studiens syfte var att beskriva självskattad hälsorelaterad livskvalitet hos personer med fetma. Kvantitativ ansats valdes och 100 personer med ett BMI mer än 30 besvarade ett självskattande instrument, SF-36. Dataanalys genomfördes med korrelations test för att få styrkan i samband mellan variabler.

Today there are many different Cad-applications on the market for engineers. Because of big building projects it has become more and more important to work with the same application or to have access to a neutral file type to be able to transfer files between different ones.This report studies the single objects and how they react when transferring them between ADT and ArchiCAD via the neutral type IFC. We have also been looking at problems during the transfer between and if there are some connections between these problems. Afterwards we created a neutral object model of a small country house to see if the objects appeared different. The result shows no differences.But looking at the problems that appeared during the transmissions they felt small and no logical.Today it is not possible to save in a neutral type without facing small problems.

This thesis is an addition to pictures and animation that has been developed using CATIA V5. The animation and the images are a market basis to test whether the product is of interest in the Nordic market. The thesis is structured with elements of the Fredy Olsson method. Vid Huddinge Unviersitetssjukhus finns METI som är en patientsimulator. Denna simulator används idag för att öva medicine kandidater i att ge anestesi. Detta arbete undersöker om simulatorträning kan förbättra medicine kandidaters procedurella färdigheter. Undersökningen är en enkätundersökning där frågor som sökte ta reda på deltagarnas procedurella ställdes.

Denna studies syfte var att undersöka om dövas åldersförändringar i arbetsminnesbearbetning skiljer sig från hörandes. Fyra grupper deltog, döva (teckenspråkiga) och hörande (icke teckenspråkiga), indelade i grupper om yngre och äldre (> 65 år). Femtiosex personer deltog, jämnt fördelade över de fyra grupperna. Samtliga fick genomgå ett arbetsminnestest indelat i tre delar, ett spatialt, ett temporalt och ett spatialt - temporalt test. Furthermore the object is to study how important being fit is for social reasons in today?s society. The athletes have been interviewed face-to-face and described their personal drive regarding training, their goals and the significance of the sport. They have also described how they see the image of the ideal body that currently exists within the field of sport and society and how training affects their own body image.

Många har haft sina besvär länge vilket påverkar aktivitetsutförandet och sömnen negativt. Anamnes och bedömnings-instrument ger arbetsterapeut underlag till diagnostisering och interventioner. Tidig diagnostisering och arbetsterapeutiska interventioner möjliggör för ett bättre resultat.

In the process of making carton boards into Skoghall Mill, are great quantities of water being contaminated. This water has to be treated before it is possible to release into the recipient, Kattfjorden. One of the contaminations that is important to extract from the wastewater, is organic carbon (measured as TOC-total organic carbon) because microbiological breakdown can lead to the bottom becomig free of oxygen.The wastewater treatment at Skoghall Mill is done through an external wastewater treatment that is located at the factory. The biological treatment (aerated lagoon) is a 140 000 m3 water pool with surface aerator, which is give oxygen to the water. In the lagoon live microorganisms who performs the biggest part of the TOC-reduction.One problem with the lagoon is that the treatment of TOC is considerably worse during wintertime than during summertime.

The invasive species raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides) is currently under establishment Sweden and it is vital to discover invading individuals to prevent colonization. The use of wildlife cameras to discover dispersing raccoon dogs have been implemented in the north-European raccoon dog management program. In this study, I test the ability of four commercially available scent lures to attract raccoon dogs to camera stations. The study was conducted in the Åland Islands where raccoon dogs are abundant and the results could improve the effectiveness of the camera stations used in the program. I used 12 sites with five camera stations in each and tested the four lures and one control with no lure in each site.
