AimThe aim of the study is to find out if, and in that case how, the sports movement creates and reproduces norms and values regarding sex and sexuality. Questions to be answered are: Which experiences do non-heterosexual women have of everyday activities in the Swedish sports movement? How are norms on sex and sexuality visible in practice? Are there mechanisms/practices that challenge these norms? Finally, the results are discussed in relation to two policy documents from the National Organization of Sports (RF); ?Sports Wants? and ?Policy and plan of action against sexual harassment and sexual discrimination within sports?.MethodSince the aim was to understand, and not to generalize and quantify, a procedure of qualitative interviews was chosen. Ten non-heterosexual women were interviewed concerning their experiences of the Swedish sports movement. They were active (or had recently been) at different levels in the following sports: basketball, soccer, floor ball, ice hockey, bandy and volleyball.

The association between disclosure level and asymmetric information is a matter of importance andconsiderable interest to the financial reporting community. The theory in this area suggests that acommitment by a firm to increased levels of disclosure should lower the information asymmetry thuslowering the cost of equity. Background: First Line Managers are expected to create a health promoting work environment. Research has shown that the prerequisites for accomplishing a health promoting leadership are not always the best. Aim: The aim was to elucidate the prerequisites for a health promoting leadership as First Line Manager at a University hospital in Sweden based on competence, role, support structures and own durability. Results: First Line Managers at the chosen hospital seems to have rather good conditions for conducting a health promoting leadership. All respondents did have a university degree and most thought that their competence corresponded well with the role.

SAMMANFATTNINGDetta examensarbete är baserat på en uppgift från Small Domestic Appliances (småhushållsprodukter) på Electrolux. Arbetet har handlat om att få in mer naturliga materialmed ?premium? känsla i deras produkter, annat än plast och rostfritt stål.Materialundersökningen har inkluderat: glas, trä, keramik och dekorativa tillämpningarför metall och plast. Hur en användare upplever ett material har också undersökts.Information har samlats in i två undersökningar; en om trender, marknad ochkonkurrenter samt en om material, leverantörer, tillverknings- och ytbehandlingsmetoder.Tre subjektiva test har gjorts på taktilitet för att få reda på hur vissa material upplevs avanvändare. Testerna utfördes med hjälp av materialprover, frågeformulär ochtestpersoner.Ett objektivt test på friktion utfördes också där friktionskoefficienten mellan ett materialsyta och fingertopparna räknades ut.

Examensarbetets syfte är att validera ett situationsbaserat ledarskapstest (TKB) med två valida personlighetstest. I studien deltog 58 studenter vid Luleå tekniska universitet, 42 kvinnor och 16 män. TKB-testet jämfördes med Gordons test del A samt med NEO PI-R.Korrelationsberäkningar gjordes mot de två personlighetstesten. Resultaten visar på ett flertal relevanta samband med de två personlighetstesten. Ett inkongruent samband upptäcktes och antas ha uppkommit till följd av bland annat normgruppens påverkan.

Eftersom det råder osäkerhet kring hur avkastningen mellan etiska och traditionella fonder skiljer sig åt på den svenska marknaden, undersöker uppsatsen detta förhållande. Jämförelsen består av åtta fonder, där de fyra fonder är etiska och fyra fonder är traditionella. Fonderna har matchats med varandra enligt matched-pair analysis för att säkerställa att det är avkastningen som mäts och att inga yttre faktorer som kan påverka avkastningen inkluderas. Vidare har två statistiska t-test genomförts för att undersöka huruvida resultatet från jämförelsen kan besvara frågeställningen i uppsatsen. De statistiska t-testen har utgått från ett större stickprov som består av 32 fonder, 16 etiska och 16 traditionella, även där matchades fonderna enligt matched-pair analysis.

Urinretention, att inte kunna tömma urinblåsan trots att den är full, är en vanlig postoperativ komplikation. Om tillståndet uppmärksammas i tid och patienten får hjälp att tömma urinblåsan kan permanenta skador av den övertänjda urinblåsan undvikas. De rutiner som idag finns för att motverka stora postoperativa blåsvolymer följs inte alltid. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka förekomsten av urinretention hos nyopererade patienter utan kvarliggande kateter (KAD) i postoperativ vård. Studien avsåg även undersöka om något samband kunde påvisas till tidigare påvisade riskfaktorer såsom ålder, kön, tidigare miktionsproblem, fyllnadskänsla, operationstid och operationstyp.

Detta examensarbete har bedrivits distribuerat vid Luleå tekniska universitet samt i Göteborg på konsultfirman Caran som ett produktutvecklingsprojekt. Uppdraget var att utifrån en kravspecifikation utveckla en testrigg för att utföra mätningar på däckfriktion mot vinterväglag, detta som en följd av att däcktillverkaren Michelin och Luleå tekniska universitet nyligen startat ett samarbete. Tanken med att utveckla testriggen är att avdelningen maskinteknik på Ltu, Luleå tekniska universitet, skall erhålla de grundliga kunskaper om hur ett däck fungerar med alla dess ingående parametrar för att sedan leda arbetet till nästa nivå. Examensarbetets mål var att utveckla en testrigg som möjliggör snabba tester av däck samtidigt som väglaget skall kunna karakteriseras. Syftet med att utveckla testriggen är att kunna utvärdera vilken typ av däck som passar bäst för det väglaget som råder för dagen och att finna sambandet mellan väglagets egenskaper t.ex.

Bakgrund: Populationen av äldre kommer att öka kraftigt i Sverige. Samtidigt indikerar populationsökningen att antalet sjuka äldre och behovet av vård och behandling kommer öka. Det är därför av vikt att utöka den geriatriska kompetensen i Sverige. Studier avseende sjuksköterskestudenters attityd gentemot geriatrik och äldre har utförts i Sverige men studier som studerat sjuksköterskestudenters uppfattning av geriatrisk omvårdnad är få.Syfte: Syftet var att undersöka uppfattningen av geriatrisk omvårdnad hos sjuksköterskestudenter i termin 6.Metod: Webbaserad enkätstudie med sjuksköterskestudenter i termin 6 vid Blekinge tekniska högskola våren 2015. Totalt distribuerades 64 enkäter ut vilket resulterade i en svarsfrekvens á 59 % (n =38).Resultat: En majoritet 81,6 % (n = 31) av studenterna ansåg att de erhållit god baskunskap i geriatrisk omvårdnad under grundutbildningen till sjuksköterska.
