Rapporten är en reflekterande text som behandlar arbetsprocessen och omkringliggande mål för ett examensarbete inom medier som bedrivits mot Högskolan Skövde. Syftet med examensarbetet har varit att finna grepp som maskerar spels linjaritet, det vill säga vilka knep som används i dataspelsindustrin (medvetet eller omedvetet) för att få ett spel med linjär level-design till att framstå som mindre linjär.Min analysmetod är hämtad från Espen Aarseths, Forskning på spel: Metodologiska ansatser till spelanalys (2007), där en av de totalt tre analysmetoder är vald; nämligen att själv spela igenom analysobjektet. De två återstående analysmetoderna presenteras kort under metodavsnittet. Därefter jämförs greppens betydelse i en rad spel för att därefter slutligen tillämpas i en egenskapad modul. Jämförelser görs med The Legend of Zelda ? a Link to the Past (Nintendo, 1991), Grand Theft Auto ? Vice City (Rockstar North, 2002) och World of Warcraft (Blizzard, 2001).

Caritasmotivet är kärnan i den vårdvetenskapliga värdegrunden. Det innebär att motivet för vårdandet är medmänsklig kärlek, medlidande och barmhärtighet. God vård utgår från ett genuint intresse att lindra patientens lidande och värna om dennes värdighet. Vårdandet är mer än vårdåtgärder och behandling. Det finns en efterfrågan av att kunna mäta och utveckla kvaliteten på omvårdnaden.

Blåbär växer naturligt i mark med låga pH-värden. Aciditeten leder till en minskad tillgänglighet av näringsämnen och en ökad förekomst av metaller som kan vara skadligt för växter. Att blåbär klarar av att växa i dessa miljöer är en stark konkurrensfördel och blåbär har under evolutionens utveckling utvecklat olika anpassningar för att det ska vara möjligt att växa där. Bland annat antas blåbär föredra NH4+ (ammonium) framför NO3- (nitrat), vilket är en fördel med tanke på att nitrifikationen är låg i en sur miljö. För att skydda sig mot skadliga ämnen samt kunna tillgodogöra sig markens näring bildar de symbios med svampar (ericoid mykorrhiza).

Syftet med denna uppsats är att klarlägga varför älgstammen och framförallt andelen tjurar, är på väg nedåt i Sverige. Trots att det finns stor expertis i form av myndigheter, forskare och en engagerad jägarkår har den negativa utveckling inte kunnat stoppas. Enligt Douglas North kan svaret till denna typ av fenomen möjligen ligga i interaktionen mellan formella (SFS 1987:259 och SFS 1987:905) och informella regler (traditionerna). I sådana fall skulle älgstammens nedgång kunna knytas till de traditioner som präglar älgjägarnas jaktmetoder när dessa kommer på kollisionskurs med de formella reglerna. Jag liksom många andra, däribland Fell (2006), hävdar att en annan form av regler, så kallade godtyckliga regler, kan spela en avgörande roll för hur människor agerar i jaktsituationer.

Given the current geopolitical situation in Europe and the upcoming election for the European Parliament, it is important to further analyse individuals? attitudes towards European integration, specifically the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP). This analysis aims to gain a deeper understanding of individuals attitude towards CSDP. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyse which factors that plays a leading role in influencing individuals? attitude towards CSDP.

Två populära investeringsformer är aktier och fonder. Det ökade intresset för dessa placeringsalternativ beror bland annat på den ökade tillgängligheten och den goda marknadsutvecklingen under senare år. En typ av investeringsform som växt, både i efterfrågan och i tillgänglighet på marknaden, är hedgefonder. De marknadsförs med låg risk och positiv avkastning oberoende av hur marknaden går. Dessa fonder riktar sig främst till företag och kapitalstarka privatpersoner med anledning av de höga startbeloppen, dock med undantag för en del hedgefonder som har lägre insats.

Following the accident at the nuclear power plant in Chernobyl in 1986, great volumes of137Cs were distributed over large parts of the former Soviet Union and Europe. Over Scotland,radiocaesium was deposited as wet deposition. Due to the relatively long physical half-life of30 years, there are still measurable activity concentrations in the natural environment. Thisstudy was made on two organic soils, Knockandy Hill and Rora Moss, situated in the easternpart of the central highlands of Scotland. At these two sites, studies on migration and transferbetween soil and plants were conducted.

This thesis will describe the redesign of the manure fork SverigeGrepen. The productis available for purchase in Scandinavia and and parts of the rest of Europe.The product is available in stores but the companys goal is to start distribute it overthe internet. A problem today with a purchase over the internet is that the costumerhas to pay a high shipping-fee due to the products unique form. The long handlecontributes to the high shipping-fee which makes it hard to attract costumers topurchase the product online. Deficiencies have been found at the manure forks basketand needs to be examined.

The aim of this essay is to investigate the attitudes towards religion and religious people held by a group of Swedish high school students. The main questions are; what causes these attitudes andhow do they shape the students? encounter with religion and religious people and in what way could religious education help the students problematize these attitudes?The method used is a quantitative method using a questionnaire, with a Likert scale, posing different questions about religion as such, world religion and religious people. The theoretical basis, in order to discuss the result of the questionnaire, is a gender theory and the theory of social psychology.The result of the study confirms earlier studies of youths both in Sweden and Western Europe. The result shows that there is a certain degree of negative attitudes towards religion, most of all againstIslam.

Bakgrund: Early childhood caries (ECC) är en kariesform som drabbar barn i tidig ålder. Sjukdomen karaktäriseras av ett snabbt progressionsförlopp och drabbar ofta släta ytor på de primära tänderna.Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva förekomsten och identifiera riskfaktorer till early childhood caries (ECC) bland barn mellan 0-6 år i Europa.Metod: Materialet som användes i litteraturstudien är vetenskapliga publikationer som huvudsakligen inhämtats från den medicinska databasen PubMed. Resultatet bygger på en sammanställning av 15 vetenskapliga artiklar som publicerats mellan 2000-2014.Resultat: Förekomsten av ECC varierade från 13.0-85.0 % i olika länder och populationer i Europa. Lägst respektive högst förekomst sågs hos barn i Sverige. ECC associerades med mat-och munhygienvanor samt med flera socioekonomiska faktorer, där föräldrars utbildning, arbetssituation och etnicitet var av störst betydelse.

Aim: By studying the evolution of the market for package holidays over time we hope to get an understanding of the trends that have characterized the market. By doing so, we can get an idea of where the market is moving towards the future. This knowledge is essential for market participants to establish appropriate strategies that follow market trends.Method: We have used qualitative interviews with people involved in the charter industry.Result & Conclusions: The market is characterized by an increase in Internet orientation, where the travel directory and the physical travel agents are becoming less important. The understanding of climate impacts of travel has increased. More people of the third-generation buy package travels and countries in North Africa and Asia are growing in popularity.We believe the market in the coming years will be characterized by lower prices and lower quality.

The EU Water Framework Directive has led that management follows the boundaries of natural catchments.The Swedish waters suffer from a nutrient overload that originates mainly from diffuse sources such as agriculture and the subcatchment of Hackstabäcken in Vallentuna Kommun, just north of Stockholm, has been chosen for this study because of its high nutrient load and because it has undergone obvious changes in land use through the years.In this study, the land use in 1902 is compared with the land use in 2011 in order to investigate if it has influenced the ability of the landscape to produce ecosystem services related to nutrient removal. These services will continue to be produced as long as the system is stable and resilient, but when landuse changes and manure from horses increases it will lead to disturbances that can convert a system from one regime in to a completely different one. That will result in loss, or degradation, of ecosystem services such as denitrification, phosphor sedimentation and adsorption, vegetation uptake and infiltration.The results of this study are based upon area calculations of landuse from old maps from 1902 and 2011. Through these maps it becomes clear that the forests in Hackstabäcken, has increased with 170 ha together with an urbanization of 311 ha, at the same time as wetlands and arable land has diminished and lakes has suffered from reductions. Wetlands have been reduced with 76 ha and the ones remaining are of insufficient quality from a nutrient removal perspective.Data from 1902 and 2011 regarding number of horses and bovines indicated a decrease in bovines and an increase in horses.

Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) is a quality control system created by the European Union (EU) to protect integrity of certain food and drinks that are produced in a specific area in a unique way. By protecting these products, the EU can certify that the traditional region-specific methods of food and drink production are preserved. The EU countries that follow such a system are mostly from Southern Europe. For instance in France, the PDO system has helped improve the income for farmers, boosted the rural development and assured protection for farmers against the abuse of their brand and the selling of their products by outsiders. In Sweden, there are no PDO products yet, instead there is Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) and Traditional Speciality Guarantee (TSG) that are not as protective as PDO.

The EU Services Directive has caused an intense debate across Europe. Its purpose is to remove obstacles to trade and to open up the public sector to increased competition. The Swedish labour movement has been deeply involved in the policy process, and union leaders have proclaimed the compromise reached in the European Parliament in April 2006 as a success.In the paper two major aspects have been considered: the meaning of the Swedish model and the process of Europeanization. The Swedish model previously allowed for a strong labour movement, through a social democratic hegemony, but the EU membership has implied new conditions for union influence. The paper examines how this change has affected the strategic choices of the Swedish labour movement, and how it has been manifested in the union's work with the Services Directive.

Streams and riparian zone are closely linked by reciprocal flows of energy and nutrients. A large part of the transportation from water to land is in form of emerged aquatic insects. Conversion of land from forest to agriculture can greatly affect aquatic ecosystems, and due to the close link, also affect the adjacent terrestral zone. Investigating how the presence of agriculture in the surrounding area affects amounts of emergent aquatic insects gives an indication on how agriculture, in turn, may affect the terrestral enviroment. The study was preformed alongside ten streams in northern Sweden; five in landscape transformed by agriculture and five in undisturbed forest areas.
