The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relation between certain chosen fundamental factors (emission trading rights, hydrological balance, interaction with continental Europe, fuel prices) and the spot price at Nord Pool. Particular focus has been put on the trade with emission rights since it is only now their actual impact on electricity prices can be studied. The relationships are measured with regression analysis which includes both R2 and the simulation possibilities of ARX models. The studied period covers 2008 and 2009 with partly daily data and partly weekly data. Owing to the expected higher importance of the fundamentals during the winter months the winter 2008/2009 has been studied separately.

Det här är min examensarbetes-rapport. Jag arbetade med en liten grupp andra på en teaser och en trailer för ett spel som North Kingdom utvecklade åt Disney. I mitt examensarbete fick jag erfarenhet i att jobba på ett stort projekt för en stor klient under kort tid. I denna rapport kan du läsa om mina med- och motgångar och vad jag/vi gjorde för att lösa problem som uppstod på vägen. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the parties (USA, Great Britain, UN and the European Union) legitimize their intervention in Bosnia-Herzegovina as seen from without the conceptions of sovereignty and intervention. USA and the UN have legitimized their intervention on security reasons. The American president, George W. Bush, claimed that democracies never engage in war with each other and that democracies were prosperous just because they were democracies. According to the president, that is why it is important to democratise the whole Balkan region to protect the international community from terrorism which grows in unstable and undemocratic states.

Avsikten med denna uppsats är att beskriva hur svenska företag arbetar inför en etablering på den saudiarabiska marknaden. Uppsatsen lägger fokus på planeringsstadiet och behandlar därför främst marknadsanalysen, som genomförs i ett tidigt skede i expansionsprocessen. Uppsatsen ämnar även beskriva de marknadsförhållanden som råder i landet samt klarlägga de specifika områden som svenska företag måste undersöka extra noggrant i begynnelsestadiet av en etablering i Saudiarabien. Undersökningen bygger på intervjuer med personer på företagen Midroc Europe (industriell konsultning), Max AB (hamburgerkedja) och organisationen Exportrådet. Samtliga respondenter har bidragit till att ge bättre förståelse för hur svenska företag utför en marknadsanalys inför etablering i Saudiarabien.

This Master Thesis has been conducted as an assignment of the Swedish Defence MaterialAdministration and the Swedish Armed Forces and aims to examine the Target Location Error(TLE) of a Forward Observer System. The targeting accuracy of the system is vital if the systemis to be used as a sensor for precision munitions. The analyzed system, EOI (FOI 2000), wasdelivered to the Swedish Armed Forces in 2007. The targeting sequence starts with deciding theposition of the system with a GPS-receiver, continues with methods where the north direction issettled and ends by measuring the distance, direction and elevation to the target. When allparameters have been measured the system calculates the position of the target.

Over time, species colonize new areas naturally or through humans. If the established population becomes isolated afterthe colonization event genetic diversity will remain low and if the population, in addition,remains small in size for an extended period this will lead to increased inbreeding andpossibly inbreeding depression. EVA, Equine Viral Arteritis, was diagnosed for the first time in 1953 in USA. The disease gained international interest in 1984, when there were several outbreaks of abortion at Thoroughbred studs in USA. EAV, Equine Arteritis Virus, is an RNA virus in the Arteriviridae family. There is only one serotype of EAV but several strains and the strains have different virulence. EAV is transmitted in two different ways: by aerosols, or by venereal transmission.

As the world´s population increases and people's living conditions are improving, larger areas are needed for houses as well as food production. This means that new areas are exploited and that people, livestock, blood sucking insects and wild animals are forced to live close together. In combination with the global warming, leading to extreme weather such as floods and storms, this allows both new and old pathogens to emerge. The number of "emerging infectious diseases", EIDs, has increased in recent years and many of them have their origin in poor, tropical countries. Moçambique is therefore considered to be a high risk area for EIDs. Schmallenberg virus, SBV, was discovered in 2011 as an "emerging infectious disease" in dairy cows in Germany.

Trees in urban environment are exposed to extreme conditions, foremost the ones that grow in the hard packed soil along our streets. They are also exposed to damaging insects and fungal diseases both local and new ones spreading from South Europe. The global warming with warmer temperatures provides a longer growing season, making it easier for insects and fungus to establish a habitat. Based on these facts new tree species need to be available for future urban plantings.To determine what these trees would be an interview study began. Six people were selected who have experience in the field of urban environment planting.

Parallel import in the European Union is the perfectly legal activity under Art. 28-30 EC of buying goods in a low-price country in order to ship and sell them in a high-price country. The pharmaceutical market in Europe is subject to the subsidiartiy principle of Art. 5 EC and heavily characterised by national regulations that lead to significant price differentials between – generally speaking – Northern and Southern Europe. This incites the activity of parallel traders in the first place, who act as arbitrageurs.

This is a reception study on how the idea of Paneuropa, as launched by the austrian count Richard Nikolaus Coudenhove-Kalergi in 1923, was received by the political weekly magazine Tidevarvet, a product of ? and an opinion forming organ for ? the social liberal wing of the Swedish suffrage- and peace movements. The main purpose is to examine to what extent there was an existent Europeanism in the public debate in Sweden during the interwar period, and how that discourse was constructed through the conceptual pairings disruption/unity and parts/whole. The study is conducted mainly through discourse analysis, combined with partly new research into sources such as the parliament, the newspapers and civil society to try to initiate a mapping over the wider reception of the Paneuropa project in a Swedish context. The study finds that the subject of Paneuropa is present throughout the almost entire period of the publication, namely 1924?1936, and that the question of a federal Europe is closely connected to the pacifist attitude of the editorial staff in general and writer/editor Elin W?gner in particular.

Stockholm is considered as a tourist destination which has a lot of offers to attract tourists and if it utilizes it water better it can give a wonderful and unique experiences and cold baths may become an image to it.The aim of this study is to shed light on the open-air swimming-baths and shores of Stockholm. Also how to use this advantage as it?s a city based on many islands, the purest water in Europe and this makes Stockholm as a destination a very attractive place for tourism. For a better understanding of our study, we have studied the quality and quantity to see how people began to exploit open-air swimming-baths throughout history everywhere in Europe and specifically of Stockholm city sea shore. We did a study on the history traditions of open-air swimming-baths and how it can be a tourist attraction through books and interviews, scientific articles and our personal observation, so that we can analyze how to develop sustainable tourism in the future and how Stockholm city can make development of opportunities for the future.

Sammanfattning: Liljebaggen, Lilioceris lilii (Scopoli) är den största skadegöraren på liljor tillhörande släktena Lilium och Fritillaria, och är ett problem i Sverige liksom i övriga Europa, Nord-Amerika och Asien. Skadan orsakas främst av larverna, men även av fullvuxna baggar, som äter på plantans blad, knoppar och blommor (Ernst, 2005). De kan orsaka allvarliga skador genom att äta upp alla blad på plantan (Gold et al., 2001; LeSage and Elliott, 2003). Biologisk bekämpning i Sverige verkar möjlig sen man har upptäckt parasitsteklar som attackerar liljebaggens ägg och larver i Europa. I de centrala delarna av Europa har Haye och Kenis (2004) funnit fyra arter av parasitsteklar som parasiterar liljebaggens larver, ichnemoniderna Lemophagus pulcher, Lemophagus errabundus, Diaparsis jucunda, och eulopiden Tetrastichus setifer. En äggparasit, mymariden Anaphes har också upptäckts, liksom hyperparasiten Mesochorus lilioceriphilus, en ichneumonid, som ofta parasiterar Lemophagus arterna. För att undersöka förekomsten av dessa steklar i Sverige gjordes insamlingar av liljebaggslarver under sommaren 2006 på olika platser i tre regioner, södra (Skåne), sydöstra (Småland och Öland) och mellersta (Stockholm) Sverige.
