In our bachelor thesis we have strived to examine the representation of journalism students in Nicaragua. The freedom of press is much lower compared to Sweden and the journalist profession is protected by a certificate. It is also a high level of corruption within the country. Our investigation concerns who has access to the journalist education and the goal is to compare that with the public in Nicaragua. To be able to examine the representation among the journalism students we have chosen seven different aspects to examine, the sex of the student, witch social class they belong to, their academic background, religion, ethnicity, geographical belonging and political view.

There are several ways to identify individuals with dry mouth, but there are few studies made in which the different methods have been compared with each other.The aim of this pilotstudy was to compare different methods for identifying individuals with dry mouth. Fifty individuals aged 50 to 75 years were included in this studie. These where randomly chosen among patients at the dental clinic at Kristianstad University College. Four different salivary measurements were conducted: 1) collection of unstimulated saliva, 2) collection of stimulated saliva, 3) the so called ?mirrortest?, and 4) analyse using cottonrolls.

SCA Ortvikens Pappersbruk ska bygga ut sitt nuvarande styrsystem för högspänning, ABB Microscada, till ett system som även ska kunna klara av att räkna ut kortslutningseffekter vid olika driftlägen på fabriksområdet.Examensarbetet har som mål att införa en del av pappersbrukets elnät in i det nya styrsystemet samt sammanställa och beräkna nya data för komponenter och utrustning. Efter införandet skall en kontroll av resultaten som styrsystemet ger göras mot befintliga selektivplaner och utförda beräkningar.Den del som främst har analyserats är en matning som börjar vid inmatningspunkten på Ortviken och följer dessa ner via olika ställverk och matningar till två transformatorer för att sluta på 0,4 kV.Arbetet har visat att uppgifterna som styrsystemet lämnar angående kortslutningseffekter inte alltid stämmer överens med de värden de kontrollerats mot. Detta visade sig främst vid kontrollberäkningar av de olika transformatorernas bidrag till kortslutningseffekten samtidigt har systemet svårigheter att arbeta med maskade nät. Eftersom Ortviken använder just maskade nät och har två inkommande linjer som vid normal drift ligger parallellt har en kompromiss gjorts, de båda inkommande matningarna antags i alla beräkningar och simuleringar vara en matning, där kortslutningseffekterna summerats..

Denna uppsats studerar hur tre specifika förändringar har påverkat efterfrågan på vin mellan åren 1991-2001. Med dessa tre förändringar avses Sveriges medlemskap i EU, införandet av lördagsöppet på alla Systembolag i Sverige samt förändrade skattesatser på vin. Uppsatsen inleds med en övergripande beskrivning av Sveriges alkoholkonsumtion, vilken alkoholpolitik som för närvarande förs, samt en mer ingående beskrivning av de tre specifika förändringarna. Därpå utformas en loglinjär modell grundad på ekonomisk teori. Resultaten av modellen visar att vin kan klassificeras som en normal vara med hög egenpriselasticitet samt att både sprit och öl kan klassas som substitut till vin.

I Sverige insjuknar årligen omkring 300 barn och ungdomar mellan 0-18 år i cancer. Barn med cancer påverkas på många olika sätt och det medför ofta en långvarig sjukhusvistelse för dem. Syftet med studien var att beskriva barns upplevelser av att leva med cancer. En systematisk litteraturstudie genomfördes där vetenskapliga artiklar söktes i databaserna Cinahl, PsycINFO och PubMed och 14 artiklar granskades och kvalitetsbedömdes. Resultatet delades in i tre teman fysiska upplevelser av behandlingen, leva med känslomässiga förändringar och önskan av att vara ?normal?.

Rapid economic development and urbanization has led to an improved standard of living for the Chinese people. Meanwhile, a series of environmental problems have also appeared and smog, in particular, has caused the Chinese people to realize how serious the situation is. Smog has seriously affected normal economic activities and people's everyday lives, resulting in financial losses, increased mortality and disease. How to handle the smog becomes particularly important. The purpose of this study is to describe and discuss the underlying causes of two sources of pollution, particulate matter and sulfur dioxide, as well as what drives individuals' and firms' environmentally destructive behavior.

When the UN intervenes in other states affairs, it is violat-ing the principles it is set to defend, principles of non-intervention and respect for sover-eignty. The outcome from such interventions is very important, a result that can legitimize the action.

Financial exploitation of children worldwide is a global problem, causing consequences for both the national economy and labor market, as well as the working child who is deprived of its rights of education and normal development. Pakistan has several national laws in order to work against and to regulate the existence of child labour. Another important mechanism to fight the financial exploitation of the children is the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. This Convention was ratified by Pakistan in 1990. As a result, new national laws have been admitted, already existing laws have been amended, educational projects have been established and the common knowledge on the problems regarding the subject have attracted a lot of attention.

BackgroundType 1 diabetes is a chronically disease that often occurs in early life. In every year around 77.000 children in the world is estimated with type 1 diabetes. When a child gets a chronically disease it affects the whole family, specially the parents who will be the child's caregiver.AimThe aim of this study was to describe parents experiences of living with a child with type 1 diabetes.MethodA literature review was carried trough based on 10 qualitative scientific articles. The articles were analyzed and two main themes and seven subthemes emerged.ResultsAll parents experienced that they needed some kind of support particularly early in their illness. They felt it was a big responsibility to take care of their child with diabetes and parents often felt anxiety and fear associated with the disease.

The interest for Austen comes from the ?Austen movies? I?ve seen the latest year. AIM AND FRAMING OF QUESTIONS My aim has been to compare the contents in the dialogues with the fact in the biographies. The questions are:What do the dialogues say about the convention, the behaviour, manners and the form of address? What does it say about young men and women and about the marriage? Are the dialogues supported by the content in the biographies? Did Jane Austen really write realistic? METHOD AND MATERIAL The method was to read the novels and then the biographies.

In Sweden there are laws and recommendations from The National Board of Health and Welfare about the importance of a user's involvement in and possibility of influencing services directed at them. Even with such good intentions the same board reports that it is hard to know if people experience that they do. The purpose of my study was to examine how professionals can use their knowledge to help users increase their sense of influence in services that they use. My focus has been on adults with neuropsychiatric disabilities within the autistic spectra, such as Asperger syndrome, and on the professionals working with them. The specific problem among people with neuropsychiatric disabilities is a lack of social skills.
