This paper is a thorough review of my internship, during which I designed infographics at Grafiskt Center, SVT, Stockholm. The purpose has been to find out what guidelines and policies SVT has regarding infographics while producing infographics in a professional environment. In addition, I present the daily routine at SVT and the tools used during the work process. Furthermore, the paper contains a reflection of my work effort during the internship as well as thoughts on how I adjusted to the guidelines in question. Finally, the essay treats some examples of infographics which I produced during my time at SVT..

This thesis explores in which ways the portrayal of the event known as the Stockholm bloodbath has changed during the period 1869-1996. This is done through textbook analysis. In Sweden, history has been a school subject since the 17th century, and has throughout its history had a formative role in the Swedish school system. In the middle of the 19th century it was specifically stated that the aim was to help students nurture a sense of national pride and love of country. The aim of the study is to investigate how nationally loaded events have been portrayed in text books, as well as if and how the evolution of said textbooks reflect the evolution of the history subject as a whole.

Det ena verket har tillkommit genom en tävling som arrangerats av företag, organisationer, institutioner och kommuner. Introduction: Interplay between all the different subsystems of the financial markets is currently considered as an important internal force in the market. In a financially liberalized economy exchange rate stability is a basis for a wellbeing stock market. If these interactions between all the different subsystems of the financial markets are not detected, this means that there is information inefficiency in the markets.Problem: Can we find any correlation between changes in currency, interest rate and bonds with the stock market index? If so, how do these changes affect the Stockholm Stock Exchange?Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine if there is any linkage between the interest rate, currency and bonds with the stock market. The researchers wanted to find out how these variables affect the stock market index OMX S30 which consists of the 30 largest companies on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.Method: This research has been based on a quantitative approach.

It is a well known archaeological concern that the remains of human bones left from the bronze age and early iron age Scandinavia are not nearly enough to represent the estimated population of the time. Furthermore the bones of each find rarely represent a whole individual. The majority of the bones must have been disposed of somewhere else, possibly scattered in running waters or in the fields, where they have evaporated or are securely hidden from archaeological excavations.This thesis deals with the grave concept and the problem in using a word that is so very clouded by its modern, western meaning. It also offers an alternative explanation to why the bones are handled the way they are and why they are found in such awkward contexts..

I arbetet har vi valt att reda ut och beskriva hur en modern huligan ser ut. När vi under studiebesök hos Supporterpolisen i Stockholm hörde att det ibland uppkommer missförstånd om hur den supporter ser ut som söker slagsmål, så ville vi ta reda på hur denna supporter tänker, klär sig och vad som motiverar honom att slåss. Information har vi hämtat in från tidigare arbeten kring huliganer, egna intervjuer, intervjuer från tidningar samt från Internet. Egen information har vi sedan tidigare då vi båda har ett stort idrottsintresse samt att en av oss bott och levt i Stockholm och indirekt kommit i kontakt med huliganer. Vi har valt att endast ta med supportrar från svenska storstadsregioner, då detta kommer att beröra oss mest i framtiden som polismän.

Bostadsmarknaden i Stockholm har under en tid nu varit väldigt het och försäljningar av bostäder har slutat på skyhöga belopp. Folk satsar mer och mer på sina bostäder och de har blivit en viktig del av våra liv. Marknadsföringen är så klart en mycket viktig del när det gäller försäljningen av bostäder, det gäller att synas för mäklarna och locka kunderna till visning. Fastighetsmäklarna satsar mycket tid på utförandet av annonserna, på Erik Olsson använder man idag till exempel utbildade fotografer för att få perfekta bilder istället för att fotografera bostaden själv. Homestyling har även blivit vanligt för att kunna pressa upp priset ytterligare.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to study various views of sponsorship in relation to public libraries as found within three cultural policy documents. The main objective is to discover which ideas are considered relevant in the partnership between the Swedish retail chain, Åhléns, and the children?s public library, ?Room for Children? (Rum för Barn). In 2005, Åhléns provided SEK3.14 million in sponsorship to ?Room for Children? at Kulturhuset in Stockholm.

Aspen (Populus tremula) is a tree that is important for biodiversity. It is a pioneer tree that is favored by much light. It is possible that aspens that regenerated on agricultural land have a different importance for biodiversity than aspens that regenerated in forests, since their conditions have been different. By studying how the land use have changed you can see how many of today?s aspens regeneretad on agricultural land.

Hammarby Sjöstad is a new district in Stockholm with high environmental standard. Stockholm Water Company evaluates a local wastewater treatment plant with cutting edge technology. The first step is an experimental treatment plant (Sjöstadsverket) with four parallel lines of treatment, each with a capacity to treat wastewater from 150 persons. Within the membrane technology subproject the possibility of using reverse osmosis (usually called RO) to regain nutrients is examined.Reverse osmosis separates the incoming water in a clean permeate and a concentrate that, as the name indicates, is a more concentrated version of the incoming water. Using this method in wastewater treatment, a solution high in nutrients can be obtained without the use of chemical precipitation agent and with no production of sludge.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether there is a correlation between the actuarial assumptions, of listed groups in Large Cap on the Nasdaq Stockholm, equity ratio and their pensionplans funding status.Method: The study is based on a quantitative research method, where the analysis of annual reports takes place. The quantitative research method has enabled the paper to perform related analyzes and comparisons of means between groups, for listed companies equity ratio and pension obligation, and the relation to its actuarial assumptions. Correlation measurements are made using a non-parametric method, Spearman's rho, then further tested using one-sided hypotheses t-test.Theory: The backbone of the thesis is presented using two theories, earnings management and the principal-agent theory. These theories are intertwined with the previous researches, which also dealt with the essay topic of earnings management in previous years and in other countries.Empirical: Correlation analyzes between the studied actuarial assumptions and corporate groups solidity and pension financial status is presentedusing tables and charts. These are further analyzed using hypothesis tests and scatterplots.Conclusion: All tests resulted in very weak correlation between the different variables and can there for not be classified as significant.

Läpp-, käk- och gomspalt (LKG) är en medfödd missbildning. Behandling och planering av vård för patienter i Sverige med denna missbildning utförs av specialistteam vid sex av landets stora sjukhus. Vården av personer med LKG har historiskt genomgått förändringar. Syftet med föreliggande studie är att kartlägga hur LKG vården utvecklats i Linköping och Stockholm, främst under senare hälften av 1900-talet. Studien fokuserar på kirurgi, talbehandling och ortodontisk behandling.En journalstudie genomfördes av 89 journaler från Talvårdsavdelningen vid Linköpings Universitetssjukhus.

Uppsatsen tar upp hur Giacomettis konst blev uppmärksammad i Sverige på en av de första utställningarna som gjordes med hans konst på Moderna Museet i Stockholm år 1977. Undersökningens tar upp hur Giacometti togs emot som konstnär av konstvetare och tidningsrecensenter och hur de reagerade på konsten. Vidare följer en undersökning av Giacomettis egna texter.I undersökningens början beskrivs relationen mellan Giacometti och Jean Genet. Genet har skrivit omfattande texter om konstnären och spenderade mycket tid med denne. Därefter följer tre analyser av olika verk av skulptören.

This study is about howStockholm?s policy for zero tolerance of graffiti from 2007 affected the graffiti culture inStockholm. We have researched what consequences there were for the practice of graffiti, and what consequences there were for the stylistic performance of graffiti. In doing so, we have had two focus group interviews and one deep interview including eight graffiti writers from Stockholm. The individuals in the groups have been practising graffiti for a varied amount of time, but we have representation from both before, and after/during the policy of zero tolerance from 2007. Our study shows that the result ofStockholm?s policy for zero tolerance of graffiti for the graffiti culture inStockholmwas a ?subcultureification?, a ?stylistic generalization? and the ?subculture?s ambivalent identity?.
