Denna studie bygger på en enkätundersökning av 80 stycken grundskolepedagoger från två kommuner i Östergötlands län. En totalundersökning har gjorts vilket innebär att samtliga pedagoger i kommunerna ingår. Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar grundskolepedagogers benägenhet att fullgöra sitt ansvar gentemot anmälningsskyldigheten som stadgas i 14 kap 1 § socialtjänstlagen (2001:453). De faktorer som undersöks har delats upp i tre delar, organisationsstrukturella faktorer, individuella bakgrundsfaktorer och faktorer i det enskilda fallet därtro om att en elev far illa finns. Vidare avser studien att undersöka om det finns några skillnader i pedagogernas inställning till socialtjänsten samt benägenhet beroende av om den kommun pedagogen arbetar i har deltagit i samverkansprojekt riktat mot skola och socialtjänst eller inte.

Inledning och problem: Äldreomsorgen står inför nya utmaningar. Andelen av den äldrebefolkningen ökar samtidigt som de äldre ställer högre krav på vården, vilket medför att ämnet föruppsatsen är högst aktuellt. Inom äldreomsorgen finns det nationella styr- och uppföljningsmetoder.Genom uppföljningar från Socialstyrelsen vet man att det finns en hel del förbättringspotential, somexempelvis att de äldre vill kunna vara med och påverka sin vardag mer. Med fallet studeras huruvidapersonalens engagemang och kunskap kan användas för att skapa styrmedel som kan förbättrakvaliteten för de boende.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur ett delegerat ansvar från kommun tillverksamhetsnivå kan leda till en ökad kvalité inom äldrevården.

The thesis has two aims to first describe the phenomena by explaining how interim management works and what the charachteristics of an interim manger are. The second aim is to look at the value issue of interim management; What value does an interim manager provide to a company and how do interim managers try to capture and cultivate this?The qualitative method has been used. The interim management market analysed in this thesis can be stated to consist of three parts; the interim manager as a provider of knowledge, a client firm in need of a temporary manager, and an interim agency in between working as an intermediary/supplier. The characteristics of interim managers are; they are in general self-employers and rather generalists than specialists, meaning they are experienced and have great knowledge skills.

Objective:This study aimed to investigate the correlation between physical activity level (PAL), measured with activity diary and accelerometer, among overweight and obese children and adolescents. The aim was also to study differences in PAL between girls and boys.Design:55 children and adolescents, whom been subjected to a physical activity registration with a physical activity diary and accelerometer during three or four days, were included in this study. From the data received from the children?s journal records PAL was calculated and compiled for statistic analysis.Results:The results of the study showed that the children underestimated their physical activity level when measured with activity diary, in comparison with the physical activity level measured with accelerometer. Differences between girl and boys PAL values were not statistically significant, although the girls PAL values from the accelerometer, but not from the activity diary, reached a moderate activity level according to Nordic nutrition recommendation.

I uppsatsen redogörs för hur processen kring offentlig skulptur kan gå till, med Borås kommun och Charlotte Gyllenhammars skulptur Ute (2004) som exempel. Uppsatsen innehåller en redogörande del om organisationen kring inköp av offentlig skulptur samt en undersökande del vad gäller det specifikt valda fallet.Den analytiska delen utgår från Göran Sonesson och Anders Marners semiotiska teorier och skulpturen analyseras utifrån begreppen uttryck och innehåll med fokus på hur skulpturen uppfattas och tas emot av publiken, referentialitetsbegrepet. Analysen innefattar även perspektiv på platsen och vad den har för betydelse för hur verket uppfattas, utifrån Christian Norberg-Schulz teorier..

Vi har studerat möjligheten om det går att tjäna pengar på kort sikt genom att imitera insidertransaktioner efter det att information om transaktionen har publicerats offentligt. Studien begränsades till att endast undersöka köp- och säljtransaktioner för oljebolag som kan handlas på Stockholmsbörsens huvudlistor samt First North. Studien genomfördes i form av en eventstudie där vi med hjälp av statistiska tester undersökte om det existerar en signifikant skillnad i den dagliga avkastningen före och efter en viss insidertransaktion ägt rum. Detta visade sig inte vara fallet utan de fluktuationer som påvisades var ej enhetliga och kunde inte bevisas bero på insynstransaktionerna..

The purpous of this master?s thesis is to explore how the swedish public library evolved between 1890-1911, before the state implemented the library reform in 1912. The material used to cunduct the study concists mainly of texts published during the time frame of the thesis in the form of books, booklets and articles from Folkbiblioteksbladet, a journal dedicated to the subject of the swedish public library.Drawing upon Habermas theory of the structural transformation of the public sphere and Bourdieus theories about taste as social distinction and symbolic capital, the thesis seeks to show how the public participated in the evolvement of the public library and which aspects of society that contributed to the public library?s establishment as an institution. The findings are also discussed in relation to previous research of the history of the Swedish public library.

CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility, has become increasingly important in a globalised world where the responsibilities of companies and governments are somewhat blurry. The textile industry is an industry where long supply chains and raw material production in developing countries are factors adding to the complexity and difficulties of solving ethical issues. Cotton production faces many environmental, social and financial challenges in the value chain. Therefore this case study takes a closer look at five Nordic home textile companies, Ikea, Hemtex, S Group, Moko and Finlayson, and how these companies choose their cotton related CSR tools and communicate their work on this area. These companies are of various sizes and therefore the resources for CSR work are also different, as well as the perceived values for working with CSR.

Today, there are a number of different models and methods used to estimate the equity value of a company. A common tool for valuating stock prices is the usage of different multiples. This is a method used to determine the value of a company, by examining and comparing the financial ratios of relevant peer groups. The disadvantage with this method is that it does not take all the important aspects, such as risk, investments and capital structure, into consideration. However, this study investigates if the key value, called discounted cash flow (DCF), can be integrated with the valuation of the multiples.

Secondary schools have for decades debated whether they promote social reproduction which is considered to generate the homogeneous student compositions. The gap between the academic programs and vocational education programs is considered to increase. What in recent years has appeared in research is that the gap is increasing most tend to be in the specific academic program, particularly in science. This paper's intention is to describe the science program at a local level and the pupils who were admitted to the science program autumn 2009 on the basis of an educational sociological perspective. The survey consisted of a census in which all students were given the opportunity to answer a questionnaire.

Thinning is the partial removal of trees in a forest stand prior to final harvest. The term can be divided in pre-commercial thinning where little if any volume is removed from the stand and commercial thinning where removals are intended to provide a positive economic result. From a silvicultural point of view, the goal of thinning is to enhance future crop tree quality by removing low-quality stems and providing sufficient space for the accelerated development of retained ones (Huuskonen & Hynynen, 2006). The goals of this study was to see if commercial thinning could positively affect the short and medium term timber supply (MTTS) in the Interior regions of British Columbia (BC), and whether or not Scandinavian forestry practices could be adopted in the BC context. The mountain pine beetle (Dendroctonus ponderosae Hopkins) has created significant forest planning problems in BC. The annual allowable cut (AAC) was raised to capture beetle-killed timber while still merchantable.

Vilket rättssystem har enligt folkrätten företräde vid konflikt mellan folkrätten från FN, Europakonventionen och gemen-skapsrätten, beträffande giltigheten av säkerhetsrådets resolutioner för bekämpande av den internationella terrorismen, i förhållande till mänskliga rättigheter?Säkerhetsrådets resolutioner har ändrat karaktär när det gäller att bekämpa världens terrorism. Genom så kallade intelligenta sanktioner är säkerhetsrådets mål nu att frysa egendom för enskilda individer och företag, utan att de drabbade har någon rätt till rättvis rättegång, efter att dessa svartlistats som knutna till terroristorganisationer. Svartlistningen sker på mer eller mindre godtyckliga grunder som inte finner stöd inom folkrättens regler om jus cogens och säkerhetsrådet har förklarat att i kampen mot terrorismen är det nu tillåtet att med alla medel slå tillbaka hot mot fred och säkerhet.Mänskliga rättigheter utvecklades inom FN och dess stadga tillkom före Europakonventionen och torde i princip ha företräde framför konventionen och Europadomstolens praxis, vid tillämpning av principen lex posterior derogat priori.Dock har det tillskapats ett rättssystem av nytt slag (sui generis) inom gemenskaps-rätten, med ett starkare skydd för mänskliga rättigheter; i synnerhet egendomsrätten och rätten till rättvis domstolsprövning. AbstractThe use of temporary agency workers has increased significantly during the last decades. Due to considerable differences in the legal status and working conditions of temporary agency workers within the EU, the directive 2008/104/EC on temporary agency work was adopted in 2008. The current directive has a two folded purpose, first and foremost to improve the employment and working conditions for temporary agency workers, by establishing the principle of equal treatment. The second purpose is to create greater acceptance for the temporary work agencies, and also to review and remove any unjustified restrictions or prohibitions against them.There are several different models for labour market regulation represented within the EU. The Swedish and Nordic model has through history relied heavily on regulation via collective agreements, entered into by the social partners, with a minimal amount of state interference and regulation.For Sweden there is a potential problem in the implementation of the directive on temporary agency work, since it follows from case law by the European Court of Justice (ECJ).

The work place is becoming more flexible and an increasing number of employees report to a leader in another location or country. The borders between different countries, work places and cultures are diminished to a greater extent than before. Working from a distance means new opportunities in terms of competence development, flexibility in working hours, tasks and resources, a larger platform for various career opportunities and an expanded network. The purpose with this study is to examine how leaders can create a successful virtual team and motivate remotely. The qualitative study is carried out through interviews with leaders and employees within Nielsen Nordic.

Detta är en empirisk undersökning av sambandet mellan tillväxt och historisk volatilitet på tillväxt. Många uppsatser har tidigare studerat sambandet mellan tillväxt och volatilitet på tillväxt, t ex Ramey och Ramey (1995), Hnatkovska och Loayza (2004), Siegler (2005). Vi menar dock att volatilitet på tillväxt inte är en tillräckligt exogen variabel. Vi har funnit att det, för alla länder, inte finns ett generellt samband mellan tillväxt och historisk volatilitet.Däremot kan det finnas ett samband mellan tillväxt och historiskt volatilitet för industrialiserade länder (OECD länder). Vi har även studerat om det är någon skillnad i sambandet mellan tillväxt och historisk volatilitet beroende på den historiska tillväxten, menfunnit att så inte är fallet..
