Energy Director is a control and measuring system for energy consumption and is part of the product portfolio of E.ON AG for more efficient use of energy, offered to business customers. As of today, the system has only one parameter of control, namely power, and the objective of this essay has been to investigate whether other ones could be added. The emphasis is on the environmental perspective, which is why carbon dioxide has served as an example for this parameter in question.Parallel with the study of Energy Director electricity on the margin, calculations of carbon dioxide equivalents and also the Swedish trade of electricity have all been highlighted. Results indicate that when reductions in energy are made it is endorsed to omit from electricity on the margin rather than some mean distributed electricity, under certain conditions, and in addition the calculations of the reductions should be modified regarding the efficiency of the power stations fuelled by lignite and bituminous coal. Sweden practices trade with the Nordic countries as well as Poland and Germany.

Purpose/Aim: The purpose of this essay is to analyze and discuss how MTV is affected by the development that takes place on the world?s media market. The aim is also to see how MTV?s target group?s image of the channel can give guidelines in how MTV should act in this new media era.Material/method: I have examined the development on the media market and then created a model consisting of relevant factors that could affect a TV-channel today. Those factors and the two factors image and profile are then applied on MTV.

Försvarsmakten har förändrats från ett invasionsförsvar till ett insatsförsvar. Det har inneburit nedläggningar och omstruktureringar av organisationer. Artilleriet är en av de vapenslag som har gått från flertal regementen till idag ett regemente. Artilleribataljonen som är artilleriets insatsförband har kännetecknas som ett förband med lång räckvidd och kraftig verkan. Med pjäser som har kaliber 15,5cm understödjer de manöverförbanden.

 Today a major part of the energy produced steams from fossil fuels, finite resources, and a change towards an energy sector based on renewable energy is necessary. Sweden is one of the leading countries with regards to investments in renewable energy but most other countries have a long way to go. This makes it interesting in developing renewable energy projects in new markets in countries like Poland where still a lot of fossil fuel is used. Large infrastructure development projects are very costly and therefore external investors needs to be involved. The investors play an important role in changing the usage of fossil fuels towards renewable energy sources.

I denna uppsats undersöks hur värderelevansen i nordiska förvaltningsfastighetsbolags redovisning har påverkats i och med införandet av IAS 40,och värdering till verkligt värde den första januari år 2005. Värderelevans mäts i denna studie i styrkan av samvariationen mellan redovisningsposterna eget kapital och resultat och bolagens marknadsvärde.Alla förvaltningsfastighetsbolag som har funnits listade på Nasdaq OMX Nordic small-, mid- och large cap under samtliga av undersökningsåren (2000-2013) ingår i studien. De bolag som har noterats under undersökningsperioden ingår inte i studien, inte heller de bolag som varit registrerade under hela perioden men som bytt företagsinriktning till förvaltningsfastighetsbolag under den undersökta tiden ingår i studien.Den undersökta tidsperioden delas in i tre mindre perioder. En period som representerar läget innan införandet av IAS 40 (år 2000-2004) och två perioder som representerar läget efter (år 2005-2009, år 2010-2013). Studien genomförs med hjälp av multipla regressionsanalyser där de olika perioderna skiljs åt med hjälp av dummy-variabler.Studiens resultat visar att värderelevansen har ökat mellan period 1 och period 2.

Energi är något som människan använt sig av genom hela vår historia men det var på grund av industrialiseringen som behovet ökade markant. Stigande energipriser skapade med tiden ett intresse för att minska energikonsumtionen och när elmarknaden avreglerades i mitten på 1990-talet gavs ytterliggare ett ekonomiskt incitament för att hantera dessa frågor. Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka energieffektivisering som koncept, vilka metoder som kan användas samt att pröva hur man arbetar med dessa frågor i praktiken.Energieffektivisering innebär att optimera användningen av den energin som tillförs och därför är det viktigt att kartlägga hur energin används. Om en hel anläggning ska undersökas kan det ske genom att kartlägga anläggningens totala energiförbrukning men när utredningen istället är mer avgränsad kan det ske genom mätningar och tester på den specifika utrustningen. Det är också viktigt att förstå att en förutsättning för de olika metodernas framgång är tillgång på relevant information.Resultatet av detta examensarbete är en sammanställning av de olika delar som bör ingå i en energieffektiviseringsutredning samt en redogörelse för hur några av metoderna används.

The aim of this study was to examine how the Danish people and Denmark are represented in the daily Swedish press. We wanted to examine how the Danish people were represented, the characteristics given to the Danes and the differences we see between the different genres. We used theories about discourse, representation, stereotype and national community, too see what underlying messages was hidden in the texts. We analysed 30 texts from three Swedish daily newspapers: Sydsvenska Dagbladet Snällposten, Dagens Nyheter and Aftonbladet. The method we used was discourse analysis based on Faircloughs theories and methods.One of the most interesting results we found was that the Danish people often were represented as different kinds of stereotypes.

Angelica archangelica (Garden angelica) is the only Medicinal and Aromatic Plant (MAP) with a Nordic origin. The plant can reach up to three meters when cultivated. Angelica archangelica is used as flavouring in additives, honey, beverage base, essential oils, fol-klore medicine and as ornamental for decorative purposes. Commercial cultivation is mainly focused on root production. Production countries are Poland, Netherland, France, Belgium, Switzerland, and former Czechoslovakia with an overall yearly world production of 1000 kg of essential oils.

The term euthanasia is derived from the Greek terms eu meaning good and thanatos meaning death, "good death". The penetrating captive bolt is an effective method of euthanasia, when use of drugs is inappropriate. The horse becomes immediately unconscious and falls to the ground. First after the blood is emptied from the body the horse is dead. The use of injectable euthanasia agents is a rapid and reliable method of performing euthanasia. The aim is to stop the flow of oxygenated blood to vital organs and tissues. The muscle relaxants may be used either in combination wih or following an anaesthetic dose of barbiturate, their use use as a sole agent is totally inhumane.

The concept competence is considered to be difficult to define. Therefore, it may be problematic to define competence in business and to evaluate the level of skills of employees (Thomsen, 2010). In this study the aim has been to identify key competencies for employees working as purchasers for Skanska Nordic Procurement Unit (NPU). These key competencies will afterwards help Skanska NPU to evaluate purchasers? level of competence.The theoretical framework of the study consists of three different parts.

Denna teoriprövande fallstudie försöker svara på frågan om små staters ökande militära internationella ambitioner, och villighet att ta militära risker är ett förväntat beteende utifrån ett brett realistisk perspektiv. I centrum för undersökningen går den svenska säkerhets- och försvarspolitiska utveckling under luppen. Uppsatsen har en hög abstraktionsnivå och under undersökningens gång görs tre nedslag som alla försöker belysa realismen aktualitet. Inledningsvis undersöks dagens oklara hotbild, för att därefter ta en närmare titt på de motåtgärder som EU- länderna gemensamt har bestämt sig för, varvid begreppet Peace support operations belyses ur ett realistiskt perspektiv. Slutligen diskuteras hur realismen kan förklara små staters agerande varvid olika möjligheter diskuteras.

Monuments are raised all over the world of several different reasons. A monument dosen´t only refer just to itself, it also tells something about the historical context they are risen into. The overall purpose of this study is to try to reveal how history is used through the process, and rising of the monument "Vindarnas Boning" in Karlstad, Sweden 16/6, 1967. The historical narrative around this monument is about to show the importance of the esthetics, the main forces around the monument and last, how the monument legitimacy is maintained. Throughout those analytic tools, according to this study, I will try to examine possible other reasons behind this monument than the official one, who is to act as a remembrance of the finnish immigrants who settled in the unpopulated deep forests of Sweden and enabled to maintain a minor community separated from other influences, during the 16 th century and onward.

Changes in swallowing function are common in elderly and chronically ill individuals. Therefore it is important to be aware of these changes and their prevalence. The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence of dysphagia in nursing homes in the municipality of Linköping, and to correlate dysphagia with variables that can be a cause or a consequence of dysphagia. These variables were gender, age, MMT-result, dentition, weight loss, medical diagnose or number of medications. The intention was also to examine the additional information regarding dysphagia supplied by pulse oximetry.Sixty nursing home residents aged 74-101 years were chosen to participate in the study.

The report describes the production of graphic correspondence and marketing material for DUCIS(Dalarna University Centre for Irish Studies).A logotype symbol is created on the basis of an element from the Celtic art, and a graphic material thatharmonies with this ideal of style is built around the symbol. A unique visiting card, correspondence cardand letterhead is produced to strengthen the identity of DUCIS outwards.The work proceeds with an international education folder which is an important element in the marketingwork for the MA-education which starts in the autumn of 2003. Two posters, one for the opening ofDUCIS in may 2003 and one for a conference in 2004, are produced. Finally, a redesign of the book coverfor NIS, Nordic Irish Studies, is carried out.The report describes the working process consisting of meetings, practical work and other elementswithin the process. The conclusion is that the work has been quite successful and that this, to a largeextent, depended on an engaged and supporting commissioner.

Efter kalla kriget har den generella hotbilden ändrat karaktär. Stater och samarbetsorganisationeragerar olika mot de nya hoten. Avsikten med uppsatsen är att utifrån ett sjömaktsperspektiv undersökaoch diskutera hur utvecklingen av de svenska sjöstridskrafterna, särskilt internationella korvettstyrkan(IKS), förhåller sig till den hotbild och de samarbetsmönster som framträder idag. Följande frågorligger till grund för uppsatsen:1) Hur kan nya typer av hot hanteras inom sjöarenan?2) Vilka nya samarbetsmönster kan urskiljas inom sjöarenan och hur förhåller sig Sverige till dessa?3) I vilken mån är svenska sjöstridskrafter, särskilt korvettstyrkan, användbara i den nuvarandehotmiljön och i förhållande till de nya samarbetsmönster som kan urskiljas?Den teori som används är modellen sjökrigets metoder, som huvudsakligen grundar sig på amiral Alfred T Mahan och Sir Julian Corbetts teorier om hur att vinna krig till sjöss.Metoden är litteraturstudier, som omfattar: nya typer av hot, IKS, NATO operation Active Endeavouroch samarbetsorganisationer.
