Den svenska elmarknaden avreglerades den 1 januari 1996 och handel och produktion med el öppnades upp för konkurrens. Idag fungerar den nordiska elbörsen Nord Pool som den dominerandemarknadsplatsen för all handel med el inom Norden. Varje dag samlas aktörernas bud för utbud och efterfrågan på och systempriset baseras på producenternas marginalkostnader och konsumenternas betalningsvilja. Den internationella marknaden innebär att den gränsöverskridande handeln med el ökar. De nordiska stamnäten är inte dimensionerade för denna omfattande handel vilket ger upphov till flaskhalsar i stamnäten.

Det nord-australiska pama-njunganspråket djambarrpuy?u har studerats med avseende på finita egenskaper. Det går att påstå att det finns en finithetsdistinktion i djambarrpuy?u eftersom det finns satser som kan uttrycka vissa egenskaper (t ex tempus, modus, aspekt och nominativt/ergativt subjekt) samtidigt som det finns satsliknande konstruktioner som inte kan uttrycka detta. Ett möjligt samband mellan finita kriterier i djambarrpuy?u är förmåga att fungera som talhandling och förmåga att overt kunna uttrycka nominativt/ergativt subjekt, men detta behöver studeras närmare.

The area around the stream Orsundaan, which runs trough the valley Harsbacksdalen, is famous for its beautiful landscape. The upper area of Orsundaan and Harsbacksdalen is situated just south of Heby in Uppland, Sweden. Even though the area is protected by different nature conservation acts, it is difficult to find any information about the geodiversity in the area. Geodiversity, or geological and geomorphological diversity, includes the concepts of geoprocesses and geoelements. Very high geodiversity could be seen at an inventory of the geomorphology in the upper area of Orsundaan and Harsbacksdalen.

The goal of this project was to make the requirement process at the Swedish Coastguard more effective. The first step to achieve this was done by locating bottle necks in the process with value stream mapping method. The result of this study showed that the biggest restriction in the requirement process was while examining older requirement documents to understand what elements were suitable for the particular project. This was followed by a study of literature, interviews and theory of Lean Production with the ambition to investigate how the requirement process was handled on other companies and how to improve the process on the Swedish coast guard. This led to a number of potential enhancements of the process which later was evaluated.

Centrala Skellefteå har en rutnätskaraktär och i stadens periferi återfinns en trädstruktur. Denna uppdelning av olika strukturer bidrar till en fragmentering mellan stadens centrum och periferi, Trädgårdsgatan som löper i nord-sydlig riktning har potential att minska denna barriär. För att kunna minska denna barriär måste vi vara medvetna om att Trädgårdsgatan är ett offentligt rum kopplat till staden som helhet. Arbetet har resulterat i ett förslag, där redovisas hur Trädgårdsgatan har potential att utvecklas för att minska den fragmentering som finns i staden. Resultatet fokuserar inte bara på Trädgårdsgatan som ett stadsrum, utan även som stadsrum kopplad till staden som helhet.

Denna uppsats undersöker vad som har hänt med den bilaterala handeln mellan EU och Chile sedan associeringsavtalet mellan dem trädde i kraft för fyra år sedan. Teorin om effekter av tullsänkningar säger att ett borttagande av en tull bör leda till välfärdsvinster genom prissänkningar. I uppsatsen framkommer att det är tveksamt om några sådana uppstått då tullarna redan innan avtalet var låga och inte många tullar har sänkts. Inte någon av parternas export tycks ha ökat avsevärt till följd av avtalet. Analysen av varuhandeln visar att parterna varken före eller efter utnyttjar några stordriftsfördelar i handeln utan att det snarare handlar om en typisk nord-syd-handel med användande av komparativa fördelar.Uppsatsen avslutas med ett ifrågasättande om huruvida ökad handel till följd av tullsänkningar och en större gemensam marknad egentligen var parternas syfte med att inleda samarbetet..

This study?s aim was to explore how the social media Twitter is used by Swedish political leaders and how they manage the relationship between having both private and public conversations in a new public sphere, the social sphere. In Sweden, studies in this area are yet to grow. We achieved our aim by responding to our three questions at the issue: What kind of content is published in each of the politicians Twitter stream? Are the politicians private or public persons on Twitter? Are the politicians using Twitters interactive functions? We conducted our analysis by performing a quantitative content analysis.

The web as an arena for news reporting and information sharing to consumers has grown for many years in the expense of the traditional newspapers. The revenue stream has however not followed the same transformation which has led to a remarkably lower profit when news and articles are distributed through the web. Banner advertising is a method that is commonly used by online magazines to generate profit where advertisers pay to expose their message. One method to measure banner ads effectivity, and indirectly, what the advertiser would pay, is through Click-Through Rate (CTR), how many clicks a banner ad receives in relation to the amount of banner views. One of the variables that play an important role in the banner ad effectivity is the placement of the banner ad.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva och analysera lean som processtyrningsansats i de två olika kontexterna tillverkning och hälso- och sjukvård. | Metod: Vi har genomfört en jämförande undersökning av explorativ karaktär genom flerfallstudier. Vi använder oss av en metod där vi utifrån vår empiri drar slutsatser och skapar prövbara hypoteser. | Teoretiska perspektiv: Vi har använt oss av teorier utifrån Lean Thinking; Specify value, Identify the value stream, Flow, Pull och Perfection. Även Kaizen har varit betydande.

Ny nationell höjdmodell är ett projekt som utförts av Lantmäteriet på begäran av regeringen sedan år 2009 och beräknas vara färdigt år 2016. Datainsamling sker med hjälp av flygburen laserskanning. Syftet med studien är att kontrollera noggrannheten av laserdata som ska användas för framställning av ny nationell höjdmodell i Sverige. Noggrannhetskontrollen utfördes på området Årsunda ? Ockelbo (syd ? nord) och Storvik ? Forsbacka (väst ? öst).

This paper examines the professional role of the music journalist and how it has been affected by the expansion of the Internet. The study aims to examine  the profession's outlook and how professional music journalists are working to reach the public with interesting information, despite the fact that the audience of today often can be first to deliver the news. Through qualitative research interviews with three current music journalists the professional role and its development is examined. Based on theories and previous research on journalism, how the media communicates and its importance to society, what it is to be a music journalist and the spread of digitization and the impact of file sharing the results are analyzed. The conclusions of the study are that it isn?t a profession that is disappearing but rather a profession that is working towards a new future.

Denna uppsats analyserar bearbetningsfasen vid översättningen av "La protección de los derechos humanos en el Sistema Interamericano. Manual para defensores y defensoras de derechos humanos" som är utgiven av organisationen CEJIL (Center for Justice and International Law) som verkar i Nord- och Sydamerika. Först ges en förberedande textanalys där källtexten och förutsättningarna för översättningen beskrivs. I den följande analysen studeras översättningsproblem som rör textens komplicerade meningsbyggnad och tunga koordinationsfraser. Utifrån olika teorier och artiklar om svenskt klarspråk studeras det vilka strategier som har använts för att skapa en enkel och tydlig text på svenska.

Increasing attention is being given to acid sulphate soils wherever they occur. The problems that leaching sulphate soils gives with significant lowerings of pH and mobilization of heavy metals influence large spectra of our society from fisheries to agriculture to construction. Mapping these soils is consequently of great importance and the methods of doing this is very much lacking in function and precision. This study was therefore carried out to investigate whether conductivity in running water can be used as a simple instrument to identify acid sulphate soils in the catchment. 31 coastal streams in the county of Västerbotten were analyzed for different catchment properties such as occurence of marine sediments and basic water chemistry including conductivity and sulphate.

Erosion in coastal areas is a common problem all around the world. The range of the problem depends on several factors, i.e. type of bed-rock and soil, wind and wave climate. Another factor is whether the area is of high interest, i.e. if the area is important for tourism and recreation, if there are houses and other buildings close to the shoreline or if it is a site of special scientific interest.
