In this qualitative study the authors explores, by studying several quality-development models what quality in leadership is. The models are: Total Quality Management; SIQ?s model for customer-oriented organizational development; the EFQM excellence model; the ISO 9000:2000 standard; and Six Sigma. These models will be compared from Deming?s list for upper management; the Situational Leadership Theory; and the Contingency Theory.

Syftet med detta examensarbete ?Utvärdering av övervakningsapplikation DMCG i SL Access? är att vara ett underlag för en ny version av programmet. En kartläggning av applikationens uppbyggnad, funktionalitet och gränssnitt gjordes. Synpunkter och förslag från operatörer som använder programmet samlades in och sammanfattas i rapporten.Den nuvarande versionen av programmet har ett antal brister i de tre områdena. Detta presenteras i examensarbetet så att SL kan använda detta för att skriva ett ändringsförslag till leverantören ERG.

I linje med tidigare forskning bör adoptivföräldrar bli mer öppna för att adoptera ett barn med funktionsnedsättning eftersom det är färre och färre friska barn som blir aktuella för adoption (Glidden, 2000, s.397; SOU 2003:49, s.144-145). Studiens syfte var att öka kunskapen om hur nöjda adoptivföräldrar är med samhällets stöd före, under och efter genomförd adoption av ett barn med funktionsnedsättning. Studiens frågeställning var om adoptivföräldrar till barn med funktionsnedsättning anser att de har fått tillräckligt med stöd från samhället före, under och efter genomförd adoption. För att besvara frågeställningen användes en kvantitativ metod, vilket bestod av en enkätundersökning som var riktad till 31 adoptivföräldrar. Efter inkomna svar gjordes analys av empirin och en resultatredovisning där vi använde teorierna om anknytning och empowerment.

Studien belyser Ku Klux Klans utveckling från bildandet under 1800-talet till 2000-talets början, med hänseende till deras religiösa ståndpunkt i en värld av skiftande religiositet. De frågeställningar som bearbetas ämnar besvara hur Ku Klux Klan motiverar sina åsikter och existens utifrån en teologisk ideologi. Syftet är även att belysa deras ursprungliga förhållande till religion och religiösa institutioner samt eventuell utveckling som har skett över tid.
