This degree project focuses on the importance of being professional doing a job at the same time as being able to express one self in a professional way. The degree project also focuses on how the work as an environmental- and health inspector could be made easier by making the inspectors aware of their language and open to change. Finally the focus of this degree project lies on how positive contacts can be made with people despite them being informed of difficult or unwanted things.In order to get an overview of the inspectors? communication skills today the environmental- and health inspectors at the environment office in Laholm´s municipality were evaluated. The inspectors´ communications styles and languages were checked on the basis of the ?Nonviolent Communication model? by Marshall Rosenberg.The content and the result of this report were presented for the head of the environment office, the chairman of the committee and the participating inspectors in Laholm´s municipality.

Studiens syfte har varit att undersöka huruvida individer som väljer att utbilda sig i en kommunikationsmodell upplever förändring i interaktion med andra människor efter avslutad utbildning. Studien är kvalitativ och grundar sig på en hermeneutisk forskningsansats vilket innebär att vi har tolkat några individers upplevelser av sin utbildning i Nonviolent Communication (NVC), både före, under och efter utbildningen. Vi har använt oss av semistrukturerade intervjuer med en man och åtta kvinnor. Åldern på respondenterna har varierat och de har arbetat eller arbetar inom olika sociala yrken.I tolkningen av det empiriska materialet spelar Randall Collins begrepp interaktionsritualer en viktig roll i tydningen av utbildningstillfällets betydelse för respondenterna. Moira Von Wrights tolkning av George Herbert Meads olika begrepp är vår andra huvudteori, och den blir relevant i förhållande till den perspektivväxling som många av respondenterna beskriver att de upplevt efter utbildningen.

BAKGRUND: Vi blev inspirerade att göra denna studie då vi under ett flertal föreläsningarunder vår utbildning kom i kontakt med empatisk kommunikation(giraffspråket). Det var Marshall B. Rosenberg?s Nonviolent Communication(NVC) som fångade vårt intresse och vi ville undersöka om pedagogeranvänder sig av empatisk kommunikation i förskolan. Vi valde att göra vårstudie i en förskola där pedagogerna hade gått en mindre fortbildning inomNVC.SYFTE: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka sex pedagogers uppfattningar omanvändningen av empatisk kommunikation i förskolan.- På vilket sätt uppfattar pedagogerna empatisk kommunikation?- På vilket sätt uppfattar pedagogerna betydelsen av empatiskkommunikation?- Upplever pedagogerna en förändring i arbetet med empatiskkommunikation efter genomförd fortbildning?METOD: En intervjustudie inspirerad av fenomenografi.

This is a study about the communication interaction in the context of the reference work at some public university-libraries and some private company libraries in Gothenburg and Borås. The primary purpose of the study is to investigate the communication interaction in a library situation. The second purpose is to deepen the knowledge, understanding and to establish what is important in this communication. Focus has been on how the intermediaries communicate and how she or he perceives this communication. The intermediary needs to manage the communication with all the different patrons and different information needs of the patrons.

This is an art-remix project that focuses on a dream about art and music remixed and made within a context of nonviolence. The goal is to create temporary (and in the long term hopefully stabile) spaces of peace. It will be done within places where change needs to come, where it needs to be heard/seen/experienced. Weapon exports from Sweden are increasing even though there is research showing that nonviolent resistance in conflict is more effective. In this essay I discuss nonviolence and how I can implement that in my work to find a meaningful work for both me and my neighbours.

Facebook´s importance has grown significantly regarding crisis communication. A deficiency concerning what types of companies has been investigated earlier and how their crisis communication should be carried out on Facebook, has been identified. The aim of this study is to examine the crisis communication of a smaller company on Facebook and explore how this communication has been received by the company?s recipients. We apply an explorative approach on to a case study in order to answer the aim.

This thesis is a case study of the informal internal communication at a Swedish government agency called Swedac. The purpose of the study was to investigate how the employees perceive and use the informal internal communication, what communication media they utilize for it and how the informal internal communication correlates to certain aspects of the organizational structure. In order to achieve this, six qualitative interviews was carried out with employees in the organization. Since informal internal communication is not a well-defined concept I explained my view of the concept in the thesis. The results show that the informal internal communication is very important and fairly widespread at Swedac.

To lead is to communicate, a main part of the leadership. 80 % of leaders working tasks involve communication of some kind. The ambition of this study is to analyze how four leaders of an international technique consulting company experience and handle community and technical development during their professional courses. The leaders have a various experience of leadership which adds depth and width to this study. To perform the study qualitative method has been used in the form of personal interviews.The result indicates that change is not always beneficial in every aspect of communication.

This thesis concerns the subject of social media in the internal communication, how it can function to improve the communication among the coworkers. Good Old has been the web agency of our case study, through them we have gained understanding of the phenomenon. Media and communication theories and interviews have given us the foundation of the thesis.Our conclusion shows that it is beneficial to use social media internally in the type of company that Good Old is. Furthermore, the result shows that it can improve the communication, increase organizational learning and unity among coworkers. Finally social media can make organizations more effective..

En funktionsanalys av IKEA Uppsalas interna kommunikation)Author: Fredrik JohanssonAim: The purpose of this study is to analyze the internal communication at IKEA Uppsala.Are the channels of communication working efficiently? How is the information received by the employees? Finally I will make a few suggestions on how the internal communication can be improved.Method/Material: The method used in this study is quantitative. The internal communication at IKEA Uppsala is analyzed based on the results of a questionnaire. 75 employees at three different divisions were given questions on how they appreciate the communication channels at IKEA in Uppsala. 50 answers were received.Main results: The results clearly show that even though the internal communication at IKEA seems to work well in general, a few of the channel needs to be improved.
