Uppsatsens syfte avser att beskriva hur ACB Laminat, ur ledningens perspektiv, arbetar med lönsamhetsstyrning. Vidare ska eventuella brister i detta tillvägagångssätt belysas och analyseras, för att förslag till tänkbara åtgärder ska presenteras för företaget.För att nå uppsatsens syfte har en fallstudiebaserad kvalitativ studie använts. En tydlig avgränsning av vad som ingår i undersökningen och vad som ligger utanför finns då uppsatsen enbart avsåg att undersöka ledningens syn på hur företaget arbetar med lönsamhetsstyrning. En kvalitativ ansats har använts för att genom en djupgående intervju belysa en helhet och med hjälp av mina egna tolkningar finna en förståelse i det undersökta.En beskrivning på hur företaget, enligt ledningen arbetar med lönsamhetsstyrning har presenteras. Vidare har undersökningen resulterat i att brister i företagets arbetssätt funnits och förslag till hur de kan avhjälpas har presenterats.

Under de senast fem åren har det inom den svenska polisen genomförts flera större organisations- och arbetsmetodreformer. 2005 började Rikspolisstyrelsen arbeta med en av dessa, Polisens underrättelsemodell, PUM. Inom ramen för denna arbetsmetod ska Verktyg för planlagd operativ polisverksamhet, VPOP, användas. Denna rapport undersöker hur väl arbetet med VPOP fungerar och attityden till att arbeta med detta på ordningsavdelningen hos polisen i Umeå. Resultatet baserar sig på studier av centralt producerade dokument angående PUM och VPOP, och på intervjuer med olika befattningshavare på ordningsavdelningen i Umeå.

Barn som diagnostiseras och medicineras för ADHD ökar kraftigt. Både diagnosen och medicinen påverkar barnen på flera olika sätt i livet. Syftet med studien var att undersöka livskvaliteten enligt The World Health Organisations (WHO) fyra domäner (WHOQOL) hos barn som är medicinskt behandlade för ADHD. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturöversikt där tio vetenskapliga artiklar utgjorde underlaget för resultatet. Granskning av artiklar gjordes enligt Friberg.

This essay highlights the Swedish retail companies? engagement in ethics and environment issues as a part of the business concept. The Customer is today more aware about what is going on in the world than ever before. Two of the main reasons are the Internet and the globalization. In relation to the customer being more aware about the situation in the world today, the demand for products which have been produced in consideration of ethical and environmental values has increased.

The purpose of this essay is to draw attention to a rather new phenomena, virtual bullying amongst young people. Bullying has been known for a long time but today, bullying has found new ways of expression. New technology, which includes the Internet and cell phones, has given the bullies new weapons to use in their bullying.The study I have done has been qualitative and contained interviews. Represents from two communities, Playahead and LunarStorm, and two organisations, BRIS and Friends, all together five persons (two persons from LunarStorm) have been interviewed and had the opportunity to tell me their view on virtual bullying.The results show that young people see the new technologies as a valuable prolongation of their reality that they won?t give up if they don?t need to.

The subject field studied in this essay is environmental scanning. The aim of this study is to analyse how three public organizations within the subject field sustainable development work with their environmental scanning. Most organizations have to relate to their surroundings such as clients and competitors. Environmental scanning is another very important field that organizations have to relate to in their work. This essay has three questions in focus which are the following;How is the work with environmental scanning in the three organizations arranged?How does the work with environmental scanning differ in the three organizations?How important is environmental scanning for the subject field sustainable development?The study was carried out through four conducted interviews with key persons within the three organizations.

In recent time Hemnet has faced an intensified criticism because of the latest introduction of ad-fees, and not least because of the take-over regarding Swedbank Fastighetsbyrån and Svensk Fastighetsförmedling. There is a growing concern amongst real estate agents about the development for which the Swedish real estate advertising market is taking. Many of the competitors on the market that have previously experienced difficulties in establishing on the market now see their opportunity to make use of the situation that has emerged regarding Hemnet. By offering better and more lucrative terms they could potentially bring in enough real estate agencies to pose a real threat on the advertising market.Hemnet is part-owned by four organizations, Fastighetsbyrån, Svensk Fastighetsförmedling, Mäklarsamfundet and Fastighetsmäklarförbundet. All of which have a 25 percent share in Hemnet.

Bakgrunden till denna uppsats grundar sig i att det finns en utbredd litteratur kring implementeringen av miljöledningssystem i organisationer. Däremot finns det färre studier om hur miljöledningssystem bör förvaltas kontinuerligt efter att systemet har implementerats. Författarna har identifierat den interna kommunikationens roll som viktig i förvaltningen av ett miljöledningssystem, i detta fall ISO 14001. Mot bakgrund av att intern kommunikation är en viktig beståndsdel i arbetet med ISO 14001 ansågs det av författarna relevant att titta djupare på hur den interna kommunikationen kring miljöarbetet fungerar inom en decentraliserad organisation. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka och identifiera viktiga faktorer som påverkar intern kommunikation inom en organisations miljöarbete. Genom att identifiera dessa faktorer är målet att öka förståelsen för hur organisationer kan förbättra sin interna miljökommunikation och således sitt miljöarbete. Forskningsmetoden för studien är kvalitativ med en induktiv ansats, det vill säga att genom att titta på ett specifikt fall kunna se generella mönster som sedan kan återfinnas i litteraturen.

The aim with the study is to find key factors relating to internal marketing and to improve the process between the operating organization and its customers. A qualitative study is carried out within an organization active in the Swedish healthcare. The qualitative approach is carried out by collecting empirical data through observations, personal interviews and group interviews.The Physiotherapy Clinic at the Karolinska University Hospital is in the focus of the empirical study. The study locates existing differences in perceptions and comes up with recommendations for actions to improve the process of organisations within the Swedish healthcare and their customers. The study's results are that internal marketing can bring a lot to service-selling organizations and that the organizations internal conditions are as important as the external ones.Communication appears to be a key factor for an organization that has applied internal marketing.

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att analysera varumärkeshanteringen i olika ideella organisationer i Sverige. Metod: I denna uppsats har författarna använts sig av kvalitativa metoder samt utgått från en abduktiv ansats. De primära data är fem intervjuer med fem ideella organisationer i Sverige som arbetar för olika ändamål. Dessa intervjuer har valts utifrån ett bekvämlighetsurval. Resultat och slutsatser: Av resultatet framgår det att de ideella organisationerna arbetar med sitt varumärke beroende på vilka resurser de har, vilken storlek organisationen har och vilka ändamål de arbetar för. Författarna av studien anser att varumärkeshantering inte är ett högt prioriterat område för samtliga ideella organisationer eftersom de behöver lägga sina resurser på rätt företeelse, vilket är deras ändamål. Om organisationerna skulle lägga mycket tid på varumärkeshantering och marknadsföring skulle detta leda till att allmänheten blir skeptiska och börja undra om organisationerna använder pengarna på rätt sätt.

Colours have been proven to have both a great physical and psychological impact on human beings. This essay investigates the rebranding of 37 Health Care Centers, located in Norrbotten, Sweden, and how 10 interviewees have experienced the new choice of colour on the logotypes of these Health Care Centers.The theoretical framework used in this research process, consists of theories related to rebranding, the communication process, encoding/decoding and Goethe?s Theory of Colours.To gather information about how the 10 inhabitants have experienced the new choice of colour, a semistructured form of interview was used. In addition to these interviews, three people employed by Norrbotten County Council (NLL) were interviewed, to get to know more about the rebranding process and the message behind the chosen colours of the logotype.Results show that the inhabitants had an overall positive reaction to the new colour choices, but that younger target groups lacked information about the new logotype and the rebranding.Due to these results, recommendations were made that NLL should expand the quantity of media channels to reach these younger target groups, and thereby be able to attract more patients to their Health Care Centers. NLL would also profit from investigating the inhabitants experiences related to the new colour choices themselves, but in a larger scale, to achieve greater knowledge of how to proceed with colour choices in the future..

Denna studie belyser föräldrautbildning på individ-, organisations-, och samhällsnivå. Vårt syfte är att beskriva samhällssynen på föräldraskapet och föräldrautbildning i ett historiskt perspektiv för att kunna lyfta dagens syn på föräldraskapet och den speglar dagens föräldrautbildning. Vi ställer oss frågorna om de manualbaserade föräldrautbildningarna som diskuteras i samhället har ökat, vem som har initierat dem och vilka utmaningar som föräldrar ställs inför som de behöver hjälp med? Med hjälp av den kvalitativa forskningsmetoden har vi växlat mellan litteraturstudier och tematiska, halvstrukturerade intervjuer med deltagare och ledare för föräldrautbildningar samt telefonintervjuer med tjänstemän på en kommun. Vi har valt det sociokulturella perspektivet som teoretisk ram i vår analys av deltagare och ledares upplevelser av föräldraskapet och erfarenheter av föräldrautbildning.

Learning Resource Centre, or LRC, is an international phenomenon and a response to the changing society that came with the development of information technology. The LRC concept spread internationally during the 1990s and began to influence Swedish collage libraries at the end of the decade. The main purpose of this study is to analyze if and how Swedish college libraries have incorporated the LRC concept. Is there a Swedish LRC model? Is the LRC concept still interesting or was it a trend that is now out of date? Interviews with eleven people from six college libraries aim to show how they define the concept LRC and how it has been integrated in to their organisations.

Men's violence against women is an issue that exists all over the world. There are several scientists and organisations that work with this issue in one way or another. In Sweden an organisation called ROKS, and a scientist called Eva Lundgren, has been in the limelight for medias attention several times. The impression has been given that Eva Lundgren is a very controversial scientist and that her research is very different from other research about men's violence against women.The aim with this essay is therefore foremost to look at research from different scientists and compare them to Eva Lundgrens research. I found three so called levels about why men use violence against women.

The economic crisis has affected the airline industry as much as it has affected all other industries in the world. The small airlines and maintenance organisations must find new opportunities and options in order to survive the harsh crisis. Priority Aero Maintenance is now an approved maintenance organisation performing maintenance on aircrafts, engines and components. The company sees economic gains in the future by becoming an approved organisation that follows the European Aviation Safety Agency guidelines (EASA) and meets the requirements outlined in the rules of Part-M.In order for the company to become an approved organization, responsible for continuing airworthiness of aircraft, a handbook should be presented to the local authority. This handbook describes the company?s responsibility for the continuing airworthiness in order for the authorities to get an insight into the company and its work.This thesis resulted in a draft of CAME (Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition) and this draft has been approved by Priority Aero Maintenance.The CAME will in the future be used by the company as a basis for developing a more detailed manual to be presented to and approved by the Swedish Aviation Authority (Transportstyrelsen)..
