Earth?s resources have been exploited unsustainably. If an entire conception of exploitationof natural resources does not change now, this will entail enormous costs in the future.This insight has lead to a recently increased interest in clean technologies among privateequity capitalists. In the fourth quarter of 2006 about 10 percent of all private equityinvestments made in the US market were placed in the cleantech industry. Despite a goodinvesting climate in Sweden, Swedish capitalists have shown little interest in cleantechinvestments.

Resignations are common in all business sectors and can also be found among forest machine operators in the forest business. As the industry today faces a lack of forest machine operators it is justified to determine why machine operators choose to quit their jobs. The aim of this study was to a) find out the number of machine operators that have resigned b) identify and analyse the cause for these resignations c) identify the reasons why the machine operators started to work in the forest and d) give suggestions on different measures that will limit resignations amongst forest machine operators. A questionnaire was sent to machine operators who have quit working as employees, contractors or as employees for contractors with Holmen Skog during 2003-2007. 32 machine operators responded to the questionnaire. Interviews were made with 10 machine operators who had answered the questionnaire to gather more qualitative data. The results of the study indicate that fewer forest machine operators change profession than employees in other occupations in Sweden.

This essay describes my work as a director in a specialized orientation within psychodrama, surrealistic psychodrama. Using the language and performance techniques of theater and under the guidance of a director, psychodrama creates an improvised narrative or story. The essay describes several dramas I have directed, reflecting on my actions and choices as a director and group leader. I examine whether my working method has allowed me to be spontaneous and creative, which I believe the example of "The dangerous bear" demonstrates. The process enabled me to establish trust and receptivity so that a newly constituted group dared to investigate conflicts in symbolic ways associated with illness and death.

Bakgrund: Diabetes typ 2 utgör den vanligaste diabetesformen, och cirka 4 % av Sveriges befolkning uppskattades ha diabetes 2010, varav nästan 90 % av dessa utgjordes av diabetes typ 2. Sjuksköterskan har en viktig roll i att stödja och vägleda patienten utifrån dennes upplevelser och behov.Syfte: Att beskriva hur vuxna patienter upplever att diagnostiseras med diabetes typ 2.Metod: Denna studie är en litteraturstudie baserad på tidigare forskning kring diabetes typ 2, och kommer att fokusera på fenomen relaterat till patienters upplevelser av att få en diagnos. Författarna identifierade sex teman: Upplevelser och känslomässiga reaktioner vid diagnos, Information och kunskap, Lära sig leva med diabetes, Att förneka sin sjukdom, Eget ansvar och egenvård samt Syn på framtiden.Teoretisk referensram: Som teoretiskreferensram valdes  Afaf Meleis' Transitionsteori som bygger på tanken om att människor går igenom transitioner i livet av olika art.Resultat: Resultaten visade att deltagarna upplevde att få en diagnos som diabetes typ 2 på olika sätt beroende på hur deras liv sett ut tiden innan diagnos. Det framkom också att kunskapen kring diabetes varierade och att deltagarna hade olika behov av information och stöd vid tillfälle för diagnos.Diskussion: Att få en diagnos som diabetes typ 2 kan upplevas olika och vi har sett att det finns vissa faktorer som kan påverka upplevelsen. Faktorer som vi menar kan ha en inverkan är: den information och det stöd som ges vid diagnos, samt vilket bagage och vilken förförståelse personen i fråga har sedan tidigare..

Syfte: Undersöka hur nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskor upplever sin första yrkesverksamma tid och om utbildningen upplevs ge en tillräcklig förberedelse inför yrket.Metod: En deskriptiv kvalitativ studie. Åtta sjuksköterskor som arbetat mellan åtta och 18 månader på en medicinsk avdelning intervjuades med semistrukturerade frågor. Alla var kvinnor och i åldrarna 24-36 år. Analysmetoden som användes var kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: Det upplevs som en stor omställning att börja arbeta som sjuksköterska. Det var mycket nytt att lära och de upplevde yrket som ansvarsfullt, vilket kunde kännas skrämmande.

Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskors upplevelser av det första yrkesverksamma året och om utbildningen ger en förberedelse inför yrket.Metod: Studien har genomförts som en kvalitativ intervjustudie innefattande sju intervjuer. Dessa har analyserats med manifest innehållsanalys.Resultat: I resultatet har framkommit att utbildningen givit sjuksköterskan en god grund att stå på, men kräver mer medicinsk inriktning för att uppnå kraven som ställs på den legitimerade sjuksköterskan. Det anses även att ett för stort fokus ligger på vetenskaplig metodik och allmän omvårdnad, samt att den nuvarande pedagogikkursen bör omstruktureras. Sjuksköterskorna upplever svårigheter på arbetsplatsen i form av bristande kunskap inom medicinska områden samt administrativa uppgifter. De önskar mer verksamhetsförlagd utbildning då de anser att detta är den mest fördelaktiga metoden för att förberedas inför sjuksköterskeyrket.

BACKGROUND The economic crimes related to the taxation authorities (SKM), aim at evading paying taxes and/or wrongly obtaining tax revenue. SKM has noticed that many newly established companies have intended to be carried on, only for a short period of time and with the aim of generating grant-revenues and in the meantime omit to pay or wrongly account for taxes. SKM wants to investigate the possibilities to develop a method of analysis to identify those corporations. PURPOSE The purpose of this essay is to make a survey of, and identify companies, who fail in their obligations concerning income-tax return and paying taxes and charges and to try to see what is characteristic for those companies in order to find out a method of analysis. Further a study of literature will be done especially concerning who will commit economic crimes and the reasons why they do it.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskors upplevelser av arbetsrelaterad stress samt att beskriva deras upplevelser av vad stress kan leda till för konsekvenser. En deskriptiv intervjustudie med kvalitativ ansats genomfördes. Datainsamlingen utfördes genom åtta semistrukturerade intervjuer. Det insamlade materialet analyserades med kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys. Huvudresultatet påvisade att nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskor har upplevt stress under sin första tid i yrket, bland annat till följd av att det är en tid av osäkerhet.

The purpose of this thesis has been to signify what creates quality for the dwellers. Bycreating a definition of the term we have showed how well the qualitycriteria?s has been fulfilled in the newly built one family house area Pumpkällehagen in Viskafors.The questions the thesis gives answers to is: What is quality for the dwellers inhousebuilding of today? and How well have these quality aspects been carried out in tracthousing areas? These questions have taken us to our main goal: To describe what qualityfor the dwellers is and how well it has been carried out in a certain area.The literature review is describing what was published before the making of this thesis.From four different publications within the concept of quality an analysis template hasbeen enacted. This template has been used for our case study, but is also supposed towork in future analysis of tract housing areas.Interviews was carried out with the areas architects; Ola Nylander and Mattias Karlsson,as well as the client; Mikael Bengtsson. From these we have gathered their point of viewon the background of the area, as well as their view on the term quality for the dwellers.Our work has brought us to enact nine different quality aspects, which we considercreates quality for the dwellers:? The Non-measurable properties? The rooms relative connections? Sufficient and user-friendly property complements? The property complements connection to the apartment? Location of the apartment and connections to the environment? Opportunities of outdoor activities? Orientation and transportation within the area? The social unity? The cost of the apartment and its form of tenureFrom the case study, using the analysis template, we can state that Pumpkällehagen is avery successfully built area where most of our assessment criteria?s and quality aspectshave been fulfilled.

Access for disabled people in the outdoor environment is an important and accurate issue for landscape architects. The demands on public places are increasing and the aim is that everyone should be able to use the environment and be a part of the society. To enable this, landscape architects must put and extra effort to their design. This report shows examples from Uppsala Travel Centre where different ways of travelling meets in one place and many people pass on a daily basis. The area is newly built and should thereby represent modern solutions that enable access for disabled people.

This two years master?s thesis is about book circles for children, arranged by the public libraries in Sweden. The purpose is to gain knowledge about how children experience their participation in book circles, and how they experience their own reading. It focuses on children aged 10 to 12 years, and their leisure reading. The research questions are: What are the book circles? function for the participants? How and why do the children read? What kind of literature do they like? Do the children experience that their reading has developed through their participation in the book circles? What parts of the reading process do the book circles influence?The theoretical framework is threefold.

Garden center and market gardens are a growing trade, undergoing great changes with new actors and purchasing habits. The interest in gardens and plants is steadily increasing, official statistics show an increase of garden plants and flower consumption, of an annual 3 per cent. Garden centers and market gardens are in great need of development to be able to tackle the prevailing competition, and maintain a steady growth. Many companies are heading for a generation shift and are founding it difficult to find and employ younger managers. The aim of this report is to examine different strategies of garden centers and market gardens through the manager/ owner?s views and opinions about competition, growth and success.

AIM: To investigate  newly graduated nurses opinions on their introduction and preceptorship at Akademiska Sjukhuset in Uppsala. METHOD: A descriptive cross-sectional study using qualitative and quantitative evaluations. Data was collected by a questionnaire containing open and closed questions. Totally 42 participants took part in the study. Data analysis was obtained using descriptive statistics, thematic analysis and content analysis.

The main purpose with this master's thesis was to develop a survey with the intention to examine what expectations the JM AB:s customer had on a future garden and also to discuss if the lawn has a symbolic meaning in gardens. The lion's share of the thesis is based on a survey, aimed at people in the company's customer database. The intention was to examine what expectations they had on their future garden and if their expectations were met when they later bought a house from the company. The work also consists of interviews and visits to areas with newly built homes. I interpreted the result from my surveys as the lawn on its own being is a strong symbol for a garden and also signals a social status of the owner. To the company the pre made lawn on a role is a way of saving time and easily achieve what the customer request. The company wants to create a concept of a "preset-garden" that meets the company's vision as well as the expectations of the customer.

The purpose of the thesis was to map the hydraulic load on the Knivsta river from stormwater runoff, and build a platform for further studies of pollution loads on the rivers ecosystems. New residential areas are planned to be built in Knivsta municipality and it will have an impact on stormwater flows to Knivsta river. To examine the impact this will have, simulations were made in the area as it stands today and after expansion work. The work includes calculation of flows from the populated areas but also from the catchment area around it consisting of woodlands and fields. Because of expected climatic changes which may affect rainfall, the simulations have been performed with different return periods for rainfall data.
