Background: There is a newly founded national sports education program. This newly founded national sports program comprises of several different sports of which football is one of them. Before a football player can reach the European- or national elite the player usually is first developed in clubs and their respective academies where a lot of time is spent on fine tuning the players? individual skillsets.The main goal for the NIU program is to develop future elite athletes to different sports. When it comes to football, the Swedish Football Association and the Swedish school board have together developed a study plan which will serve as a guideline for the NIU-football classes in Sweden.

Early contact with both parents is important for children and it is important to reach out to both mothers and fathers through parental education groups. Parent education program for fathers can lead to more fathers taking parental leave and becoming more involved in the care of their children. A lot of men lack support from the community after the birth of their child. The aim of this study was to illustrate district nurses? experiences of meeting first-time fathers.

Background: The district nurse's competence description is comprehensive and sets high standards for a wide range of skills. The population's need for health care will rise according to life expectancy, lifestyle diseases and multi-morbidity increases. To graduate as a district nurse, 75 higher education credits are needed and after graduation, the district nurse must have developed both personal qualities and gained skills that makes it possible to work in primary care, child / school health care and home care. Aim: The aim of this study is to highlight the newly qualified district nurse experiences in developing professional identity and describe on how this development affects nursing.Method: In the pilot study a qualitative method with an inductive approach was used, and data collection was made by four semi-structured interviews. The interviews were analyzed using qualitative content analysis.

The aim of this study is to examine how the induction period for newly employed upper secondary school teachers is implemented in practice, in relation to the Swedish Education Act and the National Agency for Education?s general guidelines. Although this induction period has been legally mandated since 2010, both previous research and current statistics indicate significant shortcomings or wide variation in its practical execution. The study is based on a qualitative interview study involving 13 school leaders. The interview responses were analyzed using three complementary theoretical frameworks: Lipsky?s theory of street-level bureaucracy, Meyer and Rowan?s concept of decoupling, and Schein?s model of organizational culture.

I have chosen to write this essay on language development in a preparatory class due to the fact that I live in a city where diversity is big and newly arrived students from different countries are constantly increasing in schools. My study has been made in a preparatory class in Södertälje. The National Agency for Education highlights the deficiencies in preparatory classes and believes that education is not adapted to each student's knowledge and maturity and it is therefore difficult for students to reach the goals in school. According to studies by the National Agency for Education, it appears that many newly arrived students do not recieve study guide in their native language, a resource that they are entitled to. In this study, the efficiency of a newly launched predatory mite, Amblydromalus limonicus, has been examined for its potential to use as a biological control agent in cucumber production. A. limonicus can be used for biological control of two thrips species, Frankliniella occidentalis and Thrips tabaci. Field trials were conducted in greenhouses of two conventional cucumber growers in Scania, the southern part of Sweden. This report describes the development of a web site for co-workers on leave of absence at Volvo Cars Engine AB and graduated students at Volvo Upper Secondary School in Skövde. The aim of the web site is to be a complement to existing communication channels in the promotion of the contact between the target group and the company. The work was divided into two parts; the first consisting of a preliminary study used to identify the information which the target group finds absent in their absence from their place of work/school, and the second part consisting of the development of a proposition of content layout and web site design. The finished proposition was presented along with a couple of alternatives for the technical implementation. Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative study was to illuminate and analyze what girls with ADHD say they experienced during their school time. The study will also answer the questions of issues; how did the girls say they were treated by their teachers and classmates and which pedagogical experiences can we learn from their statements?Method: In order to investigate this, six semi structured interviews were carried out. I decided not to interview girls in their school age, but women with ADHD who has already graduated, since I believe it can be very sensitive for young girls to talk about the subject and they are not able to give the overall perspective on their school time that I was looking for.Result: The results of the interviews shows that all of the women felt misunderstood during their childhood and they all had bad experiences from school.Conclusion: One of the conclusions of this study is that there are not sufficiently knowledge about girls with ADHD and many of them are not diagnosed until they are grown up which leads to that the girls does not get the support they need in school..

The aim of this study is to, by individual interviews focusing on specific dimensions of supervision,examine how integratively educated PTP-psychologists experience the interactionin the supervision they receive as a part of their PTP-work and to describe if and how theyexperience that these components of the supervision promote, does not exert a direct influenceon or restrain the preservation and development of an integrative psychotherapeuticapproach and -attitude. The eleven people who are interviewed for this study all belong tothe group of psychologists who graduated from the first group of psychologists with an integrativepsychotherapeutic approach at Örebro university in the year of 2007 and who arenow completing their PTP-work. The interviews were analysed according to a qualitativecontent analysis. The results show that ten out of eleven PTP-psychologists experience thatthe interaction in the supervision is either good or excellent and that this promotes or doesnot exert a direct influence on the integrative approach.Keywords: Supervision, PTP-psychologist, integrative approach..

Many children and adolescents up to the age eighteen come from other countries alone to Sweden to seek asylum. Sweden receives many unaccompanied children and the number of unaccompanied children is increasing every year. There are various reasons to why the unaccompanied children flee their homeland to come to Sweden. Many of the unaccompanied children come from countries such as Somalia, Afghanistan and Eritrea. The unaccompanied children?s families choose to send their children to Sweden to protect them from armed conflict and other social or political unrest going on in their homeland. This essay aims to explore how the integration of the newly arrived unaccompanied children works in schools.

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to deepen my knowledge in how teachers can teach pupils with reading and writing disabilities, and also find out how a co-operation with remedial teachers can look like.The study is based on qualitative interviews with two teachers and two remedialteachers.The study shows that the two teachers´ co-operation with the remedial teacher appeared to bedifferent. The teacher who had the longest work experience was the one of the two that had a co-operation with the remedial teacher, the other teacher who graduated in 2007 did not have any co operation at all with the remedial teacher.The study also showed that the teachers and the remedial teachers in the study had different opinions about what method to use for pupils with reading and writing disabilities, and that the LTG method was the one most frequently used .All the participants in the study agreed that reading and writing disabilities is a large area, andthat there is a large variety in difficulties among the students . Some of the difficulties the participants had experienced were problems with decoding, pupils that had problems with learning the letters..

When foreign children first arrive to Sweden, the first contact they get with the local society is through primary school. Therefore, the primary school have the fundamental role to attend the foreign and their families.The teacher plan for primary schools (Lpfö98) make it very clear that children with foreign background are given the full support in their development in a multicultural society. The aim of this report is to investigate how two pre-school teachers and one school counselors? work with these newly arrived children in preschool to support their integration in the preschool.As the role of the primary school is so vital for children with foreign background in this new society, I would therefore like to take the opportunity to explore and show how meaningful the role is of teachers to integrate these children into the Swedish primary schools.In this report, the theory part is treated based on integration and on the schools suspension to multicultural backgrounds. For this report, I even stress the support of the primary school and how they meet the foreign children and their families.
