The purpose of this thesis is to study to what extent the methodological theories are being reflected in the construction of user surveys at public libraries in Sweden. The study has been conducted as a qualitative literature study in two parts. The first part is an examination of literature concerning survey methodology; the second part is a study of three user surveys conducted at Swedish public libraries after 1995. Our main results indicate that the theories about methodology are followed in part, though it cannot be determined whether this is due to any actual methodological studies, common sense, or just copying other surveys. In our study we have found some areas of user survey construction that need further attention and that would benefit from more extensive methodology studies on the part of survey designers.

Background: An effective management of the healthcare's organization on one disaster site is considered as a condition in order to decrease damages and suffering at them as been hit of an accident. Aim: The aim of the study was to examine KAMEDO-reports concerning prehospital medical management on disaster sites. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om ledningens förståelse för Revenue Management (RM) påverkar kundens uppfattning om ett rättvist pris. De frågeställningar vi behandlar i uppsatsen är följande; Hur påverkar ledningens förståelse för RM frontpersonalens arbete med verktyget? Hur uppfattar frontpersonal att kunden reagerar på RM? Slutsatser: Teori och fallstudie visar att ledningens förståelse är en grundläggande faktor för att arbetet med RM skall ha möjlighet att vara förenligt med ett kundperspektiv. Vårt syfte med uppsatsen är att utreda vilka faktorer som är av vikt för en framgångsrik förändringsprocess samt vilken påverkan ledarskap har på faktorerna. Vi genomförde en kvalitativ undersökning där vi intervjuade tio personer som är yrkesverksamma på två hotell i Sverige. Vi intervjuade respondenterna om den förändringsprocess som ett hotellkedjebyte innebär, och om den ledarstil hotellens general managers anser sig ha och ha haft under bytet. Våra sekundära källor utgörs av teorier inom framför allt service management, change management samt ledarskap/management. Vi har använt en blandning av induktivt och deduktivt arbetssätt.

The breakdown of the ratification process of the EU constitution was in Sweden blamed on a lack of a debate concerning European issues. The constitution can be seen as the best and latest, but in no way the only, example of this problem. The breakdown can also been seen as proof of a larger legitimacy crises within the EU. The aim of the study is to determine whether or not there really was of lack of debate concerning the constitution in Sweden. When the producers? responsibility for packaging was introduced in Sweden in 1994 the industry set up public recycling stations to facilitate the collection of the waste material. In order to establish recycling stations at suitable locations the municipalities assist the industry?s service organization for operation of the recycling stations, the Package and Newspaper Collection Service (Förpacknings- och tidningsinsamlingen, FTI). The objectives of this thesis are to improve the service of the public recycling stations within Lidingö town and to increase the accessibility to these stations for the inhabitants of Lidingö.

This masters thesis takes the providers perspective on public library story times for children. The main questions are: What perspectives can the providers have? How does the perspective affect the content and how is the story time drawn up? Five story time providers were interviewed about the purpose of their story times, the methods they used and the content they chose. A model with four criteria was used to analyze the result of the interviews. The criteria were: adult criteria, consideration of the childrens view, pedagogical criteria and literary/story time criteria.

Abstract The purpose of the essay was to investigate how you can work with conflict management through drama, to promote the meeting with children from many different cultures. I also wanted to see how the work may be different in a heterogeneous or homogeneous group of children.In the background I lift up what a conflict can be, what kind of conflict management methods there are, how to work with drama education as well as what ethnic conflicts can be.The literature studies have shown that there are different types of conflicts and that the conflict management methods are many. In an attempt to get answers to my questions I?ve had drama lessons focusing on conflicts in a heterogeneous and homogeneous group of children in grades 3.My study has shown that conflict management through drama can increase the understanding of other cultures and promote the meeting between children. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur tre pedagoger upplevt förändringar i sin yrkesroll med fokus på dokumentation. Hur har talet om dokumentation förändrats under deras år som verksamma inom barnsomsorgen, vad är den bakomliggande orsaken till denna förändring och vad har detta för betydelse för förskolläraryrket? Detta är frågeställningar som behandlas i studien som bygger på tre Reggio-Emilia pedagogers berättelser kring sitt yrkesliv. Studien har för avsikt att med inspiration från livsberättelseansatsen sätta in förskollärarnas berättelser i en samhällshistorisk kontext. Detta görs genom att analysera dem ur ett Newpublicmanagement-perspektiv samt ur ett educare-perspektiv..

The purpose with this essay is to examine and create an understanding for what meaning graffiti and street art has for those who practice it. Furthermore, the practice of graffiti and street art is seen in relation to how urban space is produced. Five semi-structured interviews and one group interview has been made to answer the questions "What meaning does graffiti and street art has for those who practice it? Can it be seen as a way to construct identity?" "How do the artists relate to existing ideals about public space?" and "Does the artists see graffiti and street art as a resistance against the normative representation of the city, in that case, how?" The theoretical framework consists of Mitchell's ideas about public space, Tonkiss' definition of social order, Lefebvre's spatial triad, de Certeau's concept of strategy and tactics, the concept of appropriation and Castell's theory about collective identity. The results showed that the practice of graffiti and street art can be understood as a more complex practice than earlier research has shown.

The purpose with this thesis is to illustrate companies? way of using Key Account Management in the organization. We developed the four following research questions: Why do companies choose to use Key Account Management? How do companies identify and choose their key customers? How does a key account manager work? How do the skills needed by a key account manager look like? The results showed that KAM offered several important benefits, mainly of economical characteristics.
