Nätverkens betydelse för turistdestinationen : en studie av gotländska turistrelaterade nätverk

The tourism industry is growing and with its growth competition between destinations rises. In competition, cooperation and collaboration between tourism operators seem beneficial when creating an attractive and dynamic tourist destination.The purpose of this study is to describe and discuss the significance and influence of tourist related Networks at a tourist destination, and therefore this study aims to examine the question: What significance do the tourist related Networks have at a tourist destination?This study focuses on seven Networks on Gotland that are tourism related, and the representatives of the Networks were interviewed in order to get their view on the network and its significance to the destination. The study shows that Networks have an important role in creating a unified tourist product of the destination, and in reaching out to the potential visitors through joint destination marketing. The study also shows that the tourism related Networks helps to improve the reception of the tourist at a destination and to secure the quality of the tourist destination and its tourist products..

The aim of our study was to examine how Swedish journalists use the three social Networks Facebook, Twitter and blogs to find news. We wanted to study which group of journalists that were using these Networks most frequently and why. We also wanted to find out which of the three Networks they use the most.We made a questionnaire which we sent out by e-mail to 400 Swedish journalists. 215 of them participated in our study.We analyzed the results of the responses from the questionnaire and discussed patterns and relations between them.The study establishes that the majority of the respondents believe that the Networks are very useful and effective in their work.Our results show that out of the three social Networks the journalists who participated in our study prefer to use blogs as sources in their line of work, as they are full of information from individuals and contain unique facts and stories.Alongside the results we discussed how social Networks might be used in the future of journalism. Most of the respondents are aware of the possibility that they may need to increase the usage of them eventually, and that they will be an important part of the journalistic work process in the future. .

The internet has become an increasingly part of everyday life with digital artefacts like smartphones and tablets. We?re looking at the usage of social Networks and how the usage relates to traditional addiction. We conducted a quantitative research where 84 poeple finished our web survey. Our research focused on addiction, time spent on social Networks, normal and non-normal usage and general user patterns.

The purpose of this thesis was to illustrate the connection between personal Networks and entrepreneurial business in the music industry. It also aims to examine how and why entrepreneurs in the music industry use personal Networks in their entrepreneurial business activities. In order to explore the extent to which entrepreneurs in the music industry obtain support through personal Networks, a case study was conducted based on interviews with entrepreneurs in various areas of the music industry. The study has shown that entrepreneurs in the music industry clearly see distinct advantages through the use of their personal Networks, especially in terms of an enhanced supply of resources and through an increased amount of business opportunities. Personal Networks have also shown to constitute a considerable amount of moral support for the entrepreneurs in the development process of the entrepreneurial business.

Bara, bara vara "vänner" : En explorativ studie av den professionella socialarbetarens användande av sociala medier inom socialtjänsten

The aim of this study was to enlighten social workers experiences of social Networks direct influence in Swedish social services, and in which ways those influences are manifested. Some of the issues that are being explored in this study are: The separation of the private sphere and professional duties; boundaries and dual relationships that occurs inside social Networks; the use of social Networks as a control-instrument in authority exercise towards clients; and social Networks arising impact on social work. The empirical material was collected with nine qualitative interviews with social workers stationed at different social service departments in a Swedish municipality. Also one qualitative e-survey was sent out to, and answered by four social workers with a managerial position in the same municipality.The results reveal that several informants have experienced different problematic situations involving clients within the social Networks. This study shows that the informants are very restrictive with what information (text and pictures) they publish on their facebook-profiles, because of their position of authority and the awareness of the possibility of always being watched.

Musikmarknadskommunikation 2.0 : En studie av hur svenska independentbolag i musikbranschen kommunicerar med sinmarknad via sociala nätverk på internet.

This essay has a purpose of looking at Swedish independent labels in the music industry and how they communicate with their market through social Networks on the internet. There have not been much research about this in the past and we hope to contribute with knowledge to the area. In mind we had the changing music industry, an evolution of the internet and viral marketing communication.To answer our research question we decided to conduct three interviews with people who worked at independent labels and had market communication as their area ofresponsibility. The three independent labels in our study were based in Sweden, except for one that is based in London, England as well as Stockholm, Sweden. We selected the independent labels based on their tendency to work with marketing communication in the social Networks on the internet.

The purpose of this thesis is to create a greater understanding of relationships and Networks on regulated markets. This includes what the climate are like on such a market and how different aspects within relationships and Networks are affected by regulations. By the use of a deductive approach, a qualitative study was performed. This was carried out by interviewing different actors on the Swedish market of alcoholicbeverages. The theoretical framework includes relationship quality, consisting of power and dependence, cooperation,adaptation and trust.

Från droger till förvandlande gemenskap : En studie om de sociala nätverkens betydelse utifrån LP-verksamhetens eftervård

The aim with our study was to understand former addict´s experience of social Networks from the Lewi Pethrus foundation (LP foundation) aftercare. The method we have used is qualitative semi-structured interviews. We have interviewed eight persons, four men and four women. They have all been in contact with the LP foundation and are today drug free. The result of the study has shown that the fellowship, in the different social Networks have been very important to maintain a drug free life.
