In year 2000 the Swedish Public Service television started a new series of programmes named Mediemagasinet. The purpose was to expose the work of journalism through the eyes of a journalist. The programme showed different types of tasks and problems that have to do with journalistic reporting. The form of Mediemagasinet wasn?t anything new but the content was presented as the very first of its kind.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how the competitiveness of family firms is affected by governance mechanisms. The thesis addresses four governance mechanisms: inefficient labor markets, inefficient capital markets, self control and altruism. We have conducted an abductive method to be able to perform a qualitative research study. In this study two family firms have been examined, ROL and Indiska Magasinet. We conclude that the presence of inefficient labor and capital markets within the studied family firms give rise to negative effects in terms of difficulties of hiring talented employees.

Samtidigt har offentliga organisationer de senaste 15 a?ren ga?tt fra?n att fo?respra?ka skyddandet av information till att bli mer o?ppna och utbyta information o?ver organisatoriska gra?nser.Denna kvalitativa fallstudie underso?ker informationssa?kerhet i en interorganisatorisk samverkan mellan svenska kommuner.

In organizations today Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is becoming a common means to try to gain legitimacy and credibility for their business. A successful CSR strategy has the potential to generate positive outcomes for a company and reaching out to stakeholders about the corporation?s contribution in the field is an important part of the work. In this study I examine how the employees at Max Hamburgare receive the corporation?s efforts within sustainability, how it is perceived and what this means to the employees.

Efter att ha ägt fastigheterna benämnda som Polstjärnan, belägna i stadsdelen Lindholmen på Norra Älvstranden i Göteborg, under många år ställs Wallenstam nu vid ett vägskäl. Med byggnader som åldrats och ett område som utvecklas ifrån dem växte fastighetsutvecklingsprojektet Polstjärnan fram.Syftet med arbetet är således att utreda en framtida utvecklingsplan för fastigheterna som är väl förankrad i området Lindholmen och kvarteret Polstjärnegatan-Karlavagnsgatan. Till att börja med ville jag få en bild av Lindholmen ser ut och vad det finns för planer för fortsatt utveckling i området. Därför kontaktade jag Johan Altenius, planarkitekt på stadsbyggnadskontoret i Göteborg och Anna Eckerstig, byggprojekt och verksamhetsansvarig på Chalmers Fastigheter.För att sedan skapa en gällande utgångspunkt för arbetet har flera personer på Wallenstam intervjuats. I dessa intervjuer har de fått ge sin bild av fastigheterna, dess historik och tidigare tankar på vidare utveckling.

Rules for damages that are effective are important to create legal security and a public procurement that fulfil economic effectivity. Those rules are effectivly created for example when the demand of evidence is possible for the damaged supplier to fulfil. Yet the rules cannot be too low without leading to an uncertain procurement for the public purchaser. Thus one have to balance the interests of a public purchaser against the interests of a damaged supplier. This balance leads to a public procurement involving rules of damages where the public purchaser cannot escape duty of damages just because the demand of evidence is too hard to fulfil..

The aim of this essay is to find out how different factors influence the occupational role in a rehabilitation garden. The study is based on two qualitative interviews with and shadowing of the gardeners in the rehabilitation gardens of Alnarp and Gröna Rehab in Gothenburg. The result shows that the main factors that influence the occupational role is the gardener?s background, the garden/place, the participants, the team and the possibilities for development. The occupational role appears to consist of several different roles; the team-worker, the activity and project manager, the source of inspiration, the educationalist, the informer, the therapist and the fellow human being.

Today it?s common that companies and organizations are facing several challenges and problems when it comes to making their IT-environment more efficient. Some of these are the management of user?s computers and file security. Comput-er users are often tied to their personal computer due to personal programs and files.

IT is a natural part of the work today when it comes to projects. There are many aspects that are wholly or partly dependent on IT support actions to proceed efficiently. Although there is still situations where IT is deselected as a tool. The factors that make it look like this is not always included in the calculation, which resulted in the failure that could have been remedied with the right tools to solve the problems. The project form which today is increasingly common with all major groups involved enables IT tools' impact also becomes an increasingly provided they are used properly.

This project has revolved around finding better ways of overseeing vibrations of the gearbox at a wind power station. The gearbox has been a huge problem at the stations located at Gässlingen and the sooner the warning of an incoming breakdown is at hand the more money you can save from preparations. The work has been carried out together with Askalon AB in cooperation with consults from ÅF. Askalon is a company with a department focused on overseeing vibrations and it is in collaboration with that department the work has been carried out. During this work, new positions for the sensors and new methods of gathering and analyzing data have been worked out. This was then implemented at a wind power station to be tried out on site.

In the digital era, new services have entered the public libraries, like seeking information on the Internet, in databases, newspapers online etc. But many citizens do not know that these services exist. The libraries have a democratic responsibility to inform about them. In the county of Östergötland a project started in 2001 where libraries in five small municipalities built websites in which they present all their electronic services available. One of the aims was with the help of different kinds of marketing to reach special groups of people, like adult students, small companies and politicians.

En viktig aspekt vid e-handel är att kunden känner förtroende för e-handelsapplikationen och företaget. Denna rapport redogör för vilken inverkan multimediala inslag har för förtroendet av en e-handelsapplikation, vid initialt användande. En undersökning har genomförts med hjälp av en kooperativ utvärdering av fyra e-handelsapplikationer vilka innehåller olika typer av multimediala inslag har.Resultatet av undersökningen visar att multimediala inslag inverkar positivt på förtroendet för e-handelsapplikationer. Studien utgår från att interna förändringsprojekt inte alltid lyckas men de behövs för att anpassa och modernisera organisationen. Det är ett sätt att hantera den snabba förändringstakten i samhället och konkurrensen med andra. Antalet projekt ökar liksom kraven på resultat och på vad projektledaren ska kunna. Ett ökat fokus på människorna och på förändringsmotstånd är framgångsfaktorer i uppgiften att ändra på medarbetarnas beteende. Grunden för att leda projekt, skriver Jansson och Ljung (2009) är att hårda och mjuka perspektiv måste mötas.Studien handlar om hur projektbeställaren ser på att ge projektledare med pedagogiska kompetenser implementeringsansvar eller projektledaruppdrag i interna förändringsprojekt eftersom det finns behov av lärande vid förändringar.Teorin är kopplad till vår undersökning om huruvida organisationer kan utnyttja en dold resurs ? pedagogiska projektledare ? för att skapa bättre interna förändringsprojekt, att utföra de uppgifter som sammantaget kräver pedagogisk kompetens.Studien har utgått från en kvalitativ metod i form av kvalitativa intervjuer och tolkande analyser för att ge ett tillräckligt djup i svaren.
