Kvarvarande urinkateterisering i form av KAD eller suprapubiskateter är en vanlig behandlig vid olika problem med urinvägarna.  Författarna har i en systematisk litteraturstudie med innehållsanalys som metod haft som syfte att belysa erfarenheter hos människor som levt med kvarvarande kateter under en längre tid. Vi har sett att bristen på kunskap om dessa människors erfarenheter och livsvärld är ett omvårdnadsproblem som kan innebära ett lidande för dessa människor. Huvudresultaten är att livet med kateter kan ge erfarenheter av både negativ och positiv art. Erfarenheter vi valt att lyfta fram har delats in i fyra kategorier och är främst av vardaglig karaktär.

Vid förtäring tenderar både människa och djur att göra små pauser för att läsa av sin närmiljö. Dessa pauser har visat sig ha en negativ korrelation till hur många individer som finns i en grupp. För att fastställa resultat från tidigare forskning på människor och möjligtvis utreda fenomenet genomfördes en observationsstudie på olika platser i södra Sverige där matservering förekom. Sammanlagt 48 individer ingick i studien, deras tid och frekvens av avläsning i närmiljö registrerades för att sedan sammanställas med information om gruppstorlek och könstillhörighet. Studien hade inte för avsikt att finna orsaker till fenomenet men förklaringsmodeller tas upp och redovisas för ökad förståelse av forskningsområdet.

The purpose of this Bachelor?s thesis is to examine university librarians? perceptions of information literacy, of students? information literacy and of education in information literacy. The focus is on how they perceive the students? information literacy development during their university studies. Also of interest in this study is how librarians think that their teaching in information literacy should be included in the students? other courses. Three librarians at a Swedish university library were interviewed using qualitative interviews.

Some word processing programs save information that not all users of the program are aware of. This information consists of a number of things. Example of that is who the writer of the document is, the time it took to write it and where on the computer the document is saved. Text that has been changed or removedcan also be saved. This information is not shown in the program and the user will therefore not be aware of its existence.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka effekterna av en omvänd aktiesplit med avseende på avkastning, likviditet och volatilitet. Metod: Undersökningen bygger på en kvantitativ metod och vi har valt att använda oss av en event study. Urvalet består av 15 bolag noterade på Stockholmsbörsens A- och O-lista under perioden 1993-2003 som genomfört omvänd aktiesplit. För att beräkna den icke normala avkastningen använder vi oss av marknadsmodellen. Som jämförelseindex har vi valt Affärsvärldens Generalindex.

This thesis examines the ideological implications of an emerging shift in human rights-issues regarding information. As Intellectual Property becomes increasingly important to the economy of developed nations previously commonly owned or unprotected information runs a real risk of becoming privatized. The World Trade Organization and its binding agreements GATS and TRIPS are subjected to a critical ideology-analysis, with special efforts to elucidate possible effects on the public service realm and its commitment as provider of free information as a human right. The result suggests that not only does a threat to information as such a right exist, but that its ideological basis however seemingly rooted in a liberal/neoliberal context actually in its express views on information deviates from liberal/neoliberal theory in many ways, and that there are theoretical inconsistencies in that same ideology..

The purpose of this Master thesis is to examine and describe dog breeders? information activities. Questions posed in this study are:? What are the information needs of dog breeders?? How does the dog breeder seek and use information?? How can the relationship between serious leisure and information activities be described?The theoretical framework consists of the sociologist Robert A Stebbins? theory about serious leisure. The study is based on a qualitative methodology.

Denna undersöknings syfte är att studera om attityden till reklamens två informationstyper skiljer sig åt. De två informationstyperna är individeffekterna och produktegenskaperna. Det var även intressant att se om attityder till reklam för skönhetsprodukter är beroende av självkänslan och om individers attityd till reklam beror på vilket gymnasieprogram de läser. I undersökningen deltog 60 försökspersoner som läser på gymnasiet. Av de 60 deltagarna läser 30 på det naturvetenskapliga programmet och resterande 30 på det samhällsvetenskapliga programmet med inriktningen ekonomi.

Intranets has been marketing as the tool for solving the organisations information problems. My interest is to see how an intranet works in an organisation. This study was an investigation about the use of EkaForum, the intranet of Eka Chemicals, at the Rollsbo division. The study aimed to evaluate how EkaForum is being used, firstly as a transmitter of information and secondly as a communication tool for the organisation. The study was constructed as a quantity survey based on a questionnaire with 24 questions and was sent out to the staff of Rollsbo division.

Vårt syfte med den här uppsatsen har varit att göra en litteraturstudie kombinerat med våra egna tankar och idéer om självförtroende i matematik. Vi har i sammanställningen av forskningen i huvudsak koncentrerat oss på svensk forskning.Det har visat sig att svagt självförtroende i matematik påverkar resultaten i matematik negativt. Faktorer som upprepade misslyckanden, ogynnsam undervisning och föräldrar med negativ inställning till matematik har visat sig ha en negativ påverkan på självförtroendet i matematik. Elever som kommer från hem med arbetare och småföretagare har visat sig ha sämre självförtroende i matematik än elever som kommer från hem med högre tjänstemän och storföretagare. Det har även visat sig att flickor har sämre självförtroende i matematik än pojkar.

During the last decades the evolution of information technology and the increasing ability to access information have been discussed in many ways. In the beginning the focus was on the technology but now the discussion is more and more about the use of information and how to develop knowledge out of it. There is an ongoing discussion about the difference between knowledge and information. The subject of this Master s thesis is to find out if and how the Swedish elementary school has written into its mission statements to help the pupils to become information literate. For this purpose I have examined literature about information literacy and pedagogic as well as legislation and other documents that control how the Swedish elementary schools work.

The aim of this study is to examine present forms of interaction between Child Welfare Clinics (Barnavårdscentraler, BVC), and libraries. The study departs from the user?s perspective, i.e. how the parents evaluate the information they are given about the library and its resources to provide information they want in their present and new situation. In two local communities the survey looks into how parents of babies are informed about the library in meetings arranged as part of the information and support program provided by BVC.

The aim of this study was to examine if an organisation that strives for democracy and participation, also possess an open information culture. This study deals with the information culture in a social movement organisation, Attac Gothenburg. To achieve the aim, following questions were asked: What is the organisation culture like, is it open or closed? What is the information culture like, is it open or closed? What is the information culture like, in relation to the identity of the organisation? The focus has been put on earlier research in social movements, organisation and information culture. In this qualitative study I have collected material mainly from interviews.

The aim of this study has been to investigate actors? methods for acquiring information that is necessary for their profession, with a focus on the more random methods they might possibly use. The study is based on the following questions: What information needs do actors have in relation to their profession? Which methods do actors use to procure information? Which information systems do actors use? What role does the library play in the actors? acquisition of information? Through an interview study with 10 informants a picture is formed of the actors? information behavior. With the help of theoretical ideas regarding random methods of acquisition, we describe which information needs actors have and how they acquire that information.

This work studied the information flow and information handling among different parties. The study focused on how educational materials on national tests from The Swedish National Agency for Education is managed by school principals and teachers and how the information is passed on to students. The data material was based on observations and interviews at two different high schools. Six teachers and their classes and principals participated in the study. The Agency was also interviewed.
