Under litteraturstudier har konstaterats att det saknas en modell som skulle på ett mer nyanserat sätt visa hur det faktiska strategiarbetet bedrivs med plats för känsla och intuition. Strategier är verktyg att nå drömmar om framtiden och det är därför rimligt att anta att känsla och intuition finns med som en stark beståndsdel. Denna studie utgår från Simons modell för strategisk ekonomistyrning. En annan grundläggande teorigrund är Minzbergs strategimodell och mer specifikt: hur Simons har använt denna. Dessa två modeller har sammanfogats till en analysmodell.

We found that there are different causes of stress, such as school, media, friends, demands from various quarters and choosing education.The interviews showed that some kind of stress was possible to handle for the adolescents, for instance by making schedule. Some stress from society was, on the other hand, more difficult to avoid..

Syftet med denna studie är att ta reda på lärarnas uppfattning om sin undervisning, samt om undervisningen bedrivs med hänsyn till elevers inlärningsstilar. I mitt arbete har jag använt kvalitativa intervjuer som ger djupa beskrivningar av den intervjuandes värld. Intervjuerna består av två huvudfrågor, som beroende på svar, skulle leda till eventuella följdfrågor, valda i förskott för att täcka alla områden som jag hade intresse för. Resultatet pekar på alla lärare bedriver undervisningen med hänsyn till elevers inlärningsstilar, men de gör inte detta utifrån inhämtat kunskap om teorier om inlärningsstilar, utan utifrån erfarenhet, känsla och intuition..

This thesis introduces Kongjian Yu?s design approach in terms of industrial heritage conservation in connection to transformation and urban design. The approach is examined respectively on two cases from China and USA. The thesis give a brief introduction to current achievement in conservation research and general profile of industrial conservation practice. Based on case and theory study, Yu?s design approach is carefully applied to an industrial area Nyhamnen in Malmö and a design proposal is produced.

Stress and burnout is a common healthproblem among different workcategories today. The aim of this study was to investigate possible presence of stress and burnout among radiographers and if there was a connection to number of years in the profession. Maslach Burnout Inventory was used as an instrument to investigate the possible presence of  burnout, supplemented with questions about stress. The instrument contained a total of 33 questions and was handed out to two hospitals in south of Sweden with a total of 51 respondents. The study showed that the most stressful situations arose due to workload, negative stress, bad working environment and high time pressure.

Forskning har visat att mekanisk rekryteringsmetod är den metod som bäst kan predicera framtida arbetsprestation. Många rekryterare litar dock på sin intuition istället och det finns således ett gap mellan vad forskningen visar och hur rekryterare gör i praktiken. Syftet med undersökningen var att studera individfaktorers relativa betydelse för rekryterares grad av subjektivitet vid beslutsfattande. En webbenkät skickades ut till rekryterare och 106 svar erhölls. En multipel regressionsanalys visade att en känslobaserad beslutstil i vardagen var en statistiskt signifikant prediktor för rekryterares grad av subjektivitet.

Today?s farmers are constantly affected by the fluctuating world market prices on grain and thereby the price risk that comes with the price fluctuations. The volatile prices of grain increase the price risk within the business, which in turn affects the profitability of the business. The fluctuating prices together with the increased price risk within the farm business have opened up the market for hedging instruments. In this master thesis project, the aim is to identify the underlying end-values of 30 Swedish farmers? related to their choice of using hedging and the product; forward contract.

The aim of this study is to investigate how Lunds Vokalensemble achieves its goals and in which way the goals influence the choir's work. The study also explores the choir's artistic process. Qualitative interviews and observations were used as a method. Four singers and the director participated to the interviews. The results show that the choir's artistic goals have quite an influence on many aspects of the choir's work, both in a musical and a social way.

The purpose of this Bachelor?s thesis is to describe and analyze the implementation of Facebook in a public library. A case study consisting of qualitative interviews and studies of documents containing goals for the library has been conducted at a public library going through the process of implementing Facebook in their operations. The theoretical framework for this study consists of Everett M. Rogers?s stages of the innovation-decision process and his characteristics of innovations as perceived by individuals.

AbstractI have chosen to make a study of the learning of reading and writing, as well as other learning difficulties that may occur, in this research.My choice of subject is based on the realizations I made during my time as a student teacher; that each teacher has his/her own way of teaching reading and writing. Sometimes, however, learning difficulties occur, and this insight caught my attention. It made me think about the underlaying reasons and how we, as teachers, can bring attention to these difficulties. With these questions in mind, I recorded my observations based on a series of interviews and literary studies in an attempt to answer my questions. The resulting research emphasizes how important the actions from the teachers are, as well the importance of having variety in your lesson plan.

Studiens syfte var att beskriva hur ett positivt motivationsklimat kan utvecklas i en golfförening baserat på medlemmarnas uppfattning av existerande förening. Femton stycken golfare (9 manliga och 6 kvinnliga) i åldrarna 15-76 år från tre olika klubbar i Sverige deltog i studien. I studien användes ett kvalitativt angreppssätt och en egen komponerad intervjuguide utformades utifrån bl.a. Vazou, Ntoumanis och Duda (2005) forskning kring motivationsklimat. För att analysera rådata användes metoden kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

Tidigare studier har visat att faktorerna KASAM, flow samt prestationsbehov har betydelse för hög upplevd arbetstillfredsställelse. I denna studie undersöks om dessa faktorer även är aktuella under svenska förhållanden. En enkätundersökning genomfördes på 137 anställda på tre olika företag för att mäta om de tre faktorerna kan predicera arbetstillfredsställelse. Resultatet visade att KASAM, och särskilt komponenten meningsfullhet, var en stark prediktor av arbets-tillfredsställelse. Även flow, och särskilt dimensionen inomboende arbetsmotivation, hade ett signifikant prediktionsvärde medan det visade sig att prestationsbehov inte predicerade arbetstillfredsställelse.

Through a case study at an IT company we have attempted to ascertain how a company's organizational culture affects its designers' way of working. By examining what ?type? of designers the employees are and how this is reflected in their work, we hope to have correctly determined what their organizational culture looks like and thereby have achieved a plausible result in our study.Aside from two interviews with the company's CEO, we also performed eight observations at the company, where we tried to blend in with the employees, to better determine their way of working together.We have found that the designers' trust in their own instincts has led them to rarely act on feedback from clients ? they only pick out the proposals which have a ?mainstream? potential. We have also discovered that their design approach is something they don't feel inclined to discuss amongst themselves. As it is often ?indescribable?, they go with their intuition and unspoken design conventions..
