Utmattningssyndrom är ett snabbt växande problem i vårt land, studierinom området har visat att detta tillstånd ofta är stressrelaterat. Stress är enreaktion på obalans mellan de belastningar som människan utsätts för ochde resurser som han/hon har för att hantera dessa belastningar. Att drabbasav utmattningssyndrom kan bl.a. innebära en minskad förmåga tillrörlighet, vilket också innebär svårigheter att klara det dagliga livetsaktiviteter. En av arbetsterapeutens uppgifter är att hjälpa patienter hitta enhälsosam balans mellan arbete, vila och fritid.

Stress i arbetslivet anses vara den främsta orsaken till utbrändhet/utmattningssyndrom, men det finns forskare som menar att det är värt att även studera individfaktorer i detta sammanhang. Syftet med denna studie var att fokusera på ohälsa bland medberoende individer genom att undersöka om dessa var mer utbrända/utmattade än icke medberoende. I undersökningen deltog 92 personer. 45 studenter ingick i en kontrollgrupp och 47 medlemmar i självhjälpsrörelsen Alanon ingick i experimentgruppen.Deltagarna besvarade en enkät, bestående av två självskattningsformulär; Karolinskas utbrändhetsformulär samt ?the Holyoake Co-Dependency Index?.

Det finns idag ingen konsensus om den optimala rehabiliteringen efter en främrekorsbandsrekonstruktion, vi vet heller inte idag huruvida rehabiliteringen skaspecificeras efter parametrar som kön och ålder. Studien var en korrelerandetvärsnittsstudie med syfte att ta reda på om det förelåg någon skillnad i postoperativlårmuskelstyrka 4-7 månader efter en korsbandsrekonstruktion med avseende på kön,ålder, skada och typ av operativt ingrepp. Av de 330 aktuella försökspersonerna var detendast 74 personer som godkänt deltagande och uppfyllde kraven förinklusionskriterierna. Försökspersonerna testades i en isokinetisk dynamometer(Biodex)för maximal styrka(60gr/s) och uthållig styrka(180gr/s). Resultaten presenteradesgenom ett Limb Symmetry Index.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine whether hedge funds generate higher risk-adjusted returns than traditional managed funds in Sweden.Methodology: This study was based on quantitative data about the funds historical returns. The funds historical returns were taken from the database Morningstar and the risk-free rate from the Swedish central bank. Random samples of 36 funds have been divided into three portfolios in the form of a hedge fund portfolio, stock portfolio and mix fund portfolio.Result & Conclusion: The study concluded that the stock portfolio has shown the highest average yield for the study period where all portfolios below market index. Hedge fund portfolio has achieved the highest risk-adjusted return calculated by the portfolios Sharpe Ratio. Of all hedge strategies, arbitrage had the highest average return and risk-adjusted returns..

Denna studie baseras på kvalitativa semistrukturerade djupintervjuer med personer med olika fysiska funktionsnedsättningar om deras upplevelser och erfarenheter om funktionsnedsättningar, sexualitet och genusgörande. Kategorin funktionsförmåga är i många diskurser omarkerade. I det icke uttalade om kroppars olika förmågor förväntas och blir en funktionsfungerande kropp norm. Min studie grundar sig på ett teoretiskt samarbete där Robert McRuer?s cripteori utgör referenspunkten.

Syftet med denna C-uppsats är att söka förståelse kring hur personalen inom socialpsykiatrin iEskilstuna kommun, interagerar och bemöter psykiskt funktionshindrade. Empirisk data harsamlats in med hjälp av fokusgruppsintervjuer med personal som är verksam inomsocialpsykiatrin. Intervjuerna är halvstrukturerade till sin karaktär, då de dels är fördefinieradeav oss författare men också tematiserade. Detta ger utrymme för respondenterna att berättaom sina upplevelser kring interaktionen och bemötandet. Vi har i denna studie använt oss avsymbolisk interaktionism som teori, för att ytterligare kunna förstå och fördjupa oss i detmaterial som fokusgruppsintervjuerna resulterat i.

The knowledge of the chloride content and its fluxes and patterns in trees is insufficient. Increased knowledge would be desirable, one of many reasons is to be able to more efficiently meet the problems that the substance causes in the pulp industry. The purpose of this study was to examine and describe the chloride concentration of Norwegian spruce (Picea abies L. Karst.) in the south of Sweden. Furthermore the aim was to be able to predict chloride concentration from readily measurable site factors.

The aim of this study was to examine how heads of unit in charge of personal assistance (PA)for the disabled experience and handle ethical dilemmas and situations within theirworkgroups when The Work Environment Act and The Swedish Act Concerning Support andService for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments collide with each other. The methodof the study was to use semi-structured interviews based around three main topics; the head ofunits opinions about the value and purpose of The Work Environment Act in theadministering and implementation of personal assistance services, the problem solvingprocess and the head of units own individual experiences of ethical dilemmas or workenvironment-related conflicts or situations within their workgroups. Four heads of unit wereinterviewed for this study. The results of this study showed that the interviewed heads of unitexperienced a lack of clear and factual information about how they were meant to solvedilemmas emerging from the two laws conflicting with each other regarding the rights of thecare recipient to layout their personal assistance to their liking, versus the rights of thepersonal assistant to have acceptable working conditions. The heads of unit could not rely onlegislation and/or other specific directive documents when work environment-relatedproblems arose.

Voltage sag indices are a way of quantifying the performance of the power supply, as far as voltage sags are concerned. Indices can be defined for individual events, for individual sites, and for a whole system. A standard method for single-event methods is part of IEC standard 61000-4-30.This thesis emphasizes the importance of voltage sag indices and different methods for calculating three-phase voltage sag characteristics. Three-phase events measured in a medium network voltage over period of one month were analyzed, results examined and statistically evaluated. An algorithm for calculating voltage sag characteristics and indices was created in Matlab.

Hur företag förhåller sig till rankinglistor tros enligt tidigare forskning bero på ett proaktivt agerande från företagens sida för att motverka risken att dras med ett dåligt rykte, vilket är något som företagsledare i dag ser som den mest oroande risken. Ryktet kan ses som en reaktion på ett företags arbete utifrån uppfattningar från dess intressenter gällande företagets beteende. Dessa reaktioner och uppfattningar kan tydliggöras genom bland annat rankingar och andra mätningar.Syftet med denna uppsats är att öka förståelsen för hur företag förhåller sig till rankinglistor. Undersökningen utgår från Sustainable Brand Insights (SBI) årliga index över Sveriges mest hållbara varumärke och genomfördes genom intervjuer med sex av de 20 högst rankade företagen, samt SBI. Studien visar för det första att företagen förhåller sig olika till rankingen.

This study is aimed to increase the knowledge about the Swedish immigration authorities? assessment of the asylum applications based on particularly distressing circumstances, submitted by disabled undocumented migrants. Making an attempt to explain the reasons of asylum-seekers? health deterioration during the asylum process, this study determines the factors in migration authorities proceedings affecting such deterioration. Documents in five personal files concerning six disabled asylum-seekers, whose applications were declined, were studied by applying two observational methods: content analysis of the documents in the personal files and non-participant observations made during receptions of undocumented migrants at the Swedish Asylum Committee.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate Komm-A, a model for usingcommunication books in clinical practice for people with aphasia. The studyconsisted of two group studies and one case study. One of the group studies had apretest-posttest design and consisted of nine couples; a person with aphasia andhis/her communication partner. The material used was Quality of communicationlife scale (QCL), Communicative effectiveness index (CETI), Goal attainmentscaling (GAS), and a questionnaire to the communication partner. The other groupstudy consisted of seven speech-language pathologists who worked with thecouples according to the Komm-A model.

EPiServer is a content management system where users can publish information on a website by using a web browser. EPiServer has a built-in search engine that is very simple. Many customers using EPiServer web publishing system is in need of more functionality than is offered by EPiServer's built-in search engine. The purpose of this thesis is to develop additional functionality extends that the built-in search engine in EPiServer. The assignment was also to identify what need to be developed in order to give customers a better  opportunity to help their visitors find the right information on their website.Since this thesis was started in 2005, a number of commercial search engine productsentered  the market and it has become more common for companies to invest inthese products instead of using the simple search engine that's built into EPiServer.These products have many of the features that have been developed in this thesis.Another crucial difference between EPiServer?s built in engine and other products isthe method used to index content.

AimThe aim of this study was to map the injury panorama of traumatic injuries related to ice hockey in Sweden 2006-2011. In addition to that the aim was to compare whether there were any gender differences regarding traumatic ice hockey injuries. MethodThe present study was based on data from the Folksam insurance company between 2006 and 2011. The population consisted of ice hockey players in a club affiliated to the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation and that had sustained a traumatic injury related to ice hockey that resulted in medical care and then was reported to Folksam. The results are presented with descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation, median range and frequencies. ResultsThe head was the most common injury localization followed by the upper extremity where the shoulder accounted for a high number of injuries. Fracture was the most common type of injury for both male and female players.
