Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) och konsekvenserna av att ha detta funktionshinder har debatterats mycket på senare år. ADHD anses vara en medfödd uppmärksamhetsstörning av varierande grad som finns hos 3-5 % av befolkningen och påverkar hela livet för den drabbade. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa skillnader i livskvalitet och hälsa hos barn, unga och vuxna med diagnosticerad ADHD i jämförelse med personer som saknar denna neuropsykiatriska störning. Datamaterialet bestod av 11 vetenskapliga artiklar med kvantitativ ansats publicerade år 2000-2008. I resultatet framkom tre områden där skillnader fanns: livskvalitet och fysisk hälsa, livskvalitet och psykisk hälsa samt livskvalitet och social hälsa.

As part of the project Self esteem and Life circumstances among teenagers (started by Johnsson, Lundh & Wångby at Lund University in 2006) results from pilot studies of expressive writing (intervention initially created by Pennebaker and Beall, 1986) among adolescents in six secondary school classes in Sweden were investigated. The study describes changes from pre-test to follow-up on adapted versions of Emotion Regulation Questionnaire and Emotional Tone Index. Different strategies for emotion regulation are focused: voluntary and involuntary engagement and voluntary disengagement (Connor-Smith, Compas, Wadsworth, Harding Thomsen & Saltzman, 2000). The study is explorative. Results show a tendency towards more frequent diary use at follow-up for participants in expressive writing.

Den svenska länsindelningen härstammar från 1600-talet och få förändringar har skett sedan dess, trots att debatten varit häftig. Krav på förändringar av länsindelningarna har ofta ställts, ofta med anspråk på att göra dessa större. Ett stort antal statliga utredningar har under årens lopp behandlat frågan. Jag har i denna uppsats undersökt fem statliga utredningar under 1990- och 2000-talet, dels utifrån vilka förslag man kommit med, dels hur medborgarnas möjlighet till effektivt beslutsfattande och systemens kapacitet att tillgodose medborgarnas önskemål har behandlats i utredningarna. One of the ways that people in today?s society in Sweden are being given information is via different types of media, for example through commercials. Whether it?s a video clip or a still-frame picture, a commercial is an effective way for a company to reach out to potential customers.However, it is not only the messages or signals that may appear obvious that these companies send out when advertising with commercials.

Den sociala kontexten inom idrotten är en viktig orsak till utövares motivation. Sociala skäl såsom känsla av tillhörighet, att vara del av ett lag och social status rapporteras som centrala anledningar till engagemang. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka motiv individer anger till sitt motionerande med fokus på de sociala aspekterna, med en jämförelse mellan könen. Studien utgår ifrån Deci och Ryans Self-Determination Theory (2000). Motiv till deltagande i motion mättes genom användandet av ?The Exercise Motivation Inventory-2?.

Föreliggande studie hade som syfte att öka kunskapen om kärleksberoende som fenomen. Studiens frågeställningar berörde hur ett kärleksberoende yttrar sig samt om det går att likställa med andra beroendeformer. Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med tio kvinnor vilka definierade sig själva som kärleksberoende. Intervjumaterialet analyserades tematiskt och resulterade i fyra teman; Relationernas karaktär, Likheter med andra beroenden, Riskfaktorer samt Tillfrisknande. Resultatet visade att studiens deltagare hade ett tvångsmässigt förhållande till destruktiva relationer.

The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate what the work situation of children's librarians looks like in the year 2000, after the changes in society which took place since the 1980's. Did the tasks of children's librarians change during the nineties, and if so, in what way and why have they changed? Which new knowledge needs emerged for children's librarians during the nineties, and what was the cause of these new needs? Finally I want to know which needs for professional development arose, and how these needs are fulfilled. The thesis is based on qualitative interviews with children's librarians, library managers, library consultants, one representative of the Swedish school of Library and Information Studies and one member of SAB's children and youth committee. The study reveals that the identity of children's librarianship is strongly associated with the stimulation of language and reading.

The purpose of our examination was to survey how one preschool works with so called language groups, if the mother tongue is important and if the informants can see any complex of problems in the inclusive/exclusive way of working with language groups in the preschool. The literature review provides for example the three most important areas of mother tongue, which are the emotional, the social and the intellectual (Ladberg, 2000). Further it describes the difference between the conceptions integration and inclusion, when today the concept inclusion is preferred (Tøssebro, 2004). We were inspired by qualitative interviews as our method and from a phenomenographic perspective described the informants? perceptions about the named phenomenon.

I och med de tre försvarsbesluten 1996, 2000 och 2004 genomgick det svenska försvaret en omfattandereform där stora delar av försvaret avvecklades, samtidigt som en radikal ominriktning skeddeav försvarets huvuduppgifter. 2014 när det nationella försvaret åter börjar bli en huvuduppgiftför Försvarsmakten ställer sig många frågande till varför så lite av försvaret är kvar idag.Uppsatsen syftar till att identifiera vilka drivkrafter som låg bakom denna mycket omfattande försvarsreformoch även se huruvida drivkrafterna förändrades under reformens gång. För att identifieradrivkrafterna används två analysmodeller för beslutsfattande ur Graham Allisons Essence ofDecision.Resultatet visar att de huvudsakliga drivkrafterna bakom den svenska försvarsreformen kan förklarassom ekonomiska och som en vilja från både politiskt håll och Försvarsmakten att använda försvarettill att genomföra internationella insatser. Under försvarsreformens gång har den ekonomiskadrivkraften bestått och förstärkts av ett köpslående mellan de olika partier som behövts föratt en minoritetsregering ska överleva. Viljan till internationella insatser har under perioden kommitatt bli en allt starkare drivkraft..

The recent financial crisis has entailed in a fierce debate whether CEOs variable remuneration has caused unsound risk exposure in public companies. Hence it is considered as interesting to elucidate if this connection exists empirically. With grounding in principal-agent theory, and its implicit assumption of risk adverse agents, this study aims to find empirical evidence for a positively correlated relationship between CEOs variable remuneration and company risk exposure. Through a regression analysis of multidimensional data from 102 listed Swedish companies during the period of 2000-2009, we show that the relationship between CEOs variable remuneration and company risk, in contrast to our expectations, is significantly negative. The coherent result is interpreted as the inherent risk in companies seems to explain the usage of variable remuneration for CEO, rather than vice versa.
