Abstract The technology has made it possible for you as a train traveller to be available in other places than stations and on the train. You now have the possibility to communicate by the phone or through the Internet to get information about the train you want to take. Development in mobile technology gives us new possibilities to communication. We want to find out whatever SMS would be a suitable approach to inform passengers about delays. The problem formulation is ?If the technology is available to inform the passengers about delays in an more effective way than today, then why not use it? The ?Kustpilen? that operates in Blekinge and Skåne is the case for our study.

The purpose of this study is to examine the Swedish national student organizations attitudes towards school food and the school food debate between 1957-1982. The previous research on the subject maps the historical background and development of the school meal, but lacks a contemporary student perspective from the chosen time period, not least on a deeper and more political level. The theoretical starting points in the study concern organizations and their influence on public authorities as well as student influence. These theoretical frameworks are used to describe the conditions for the currently active national student organizations; Elevf?rbundet and SECO, in the political arena.

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a serious postoperative complication and nurses should therefore observe symptoms in an early stage and implement preventive provisions, for example use of graduated compression stockings (GCS). The nurse is also responsible for making sure that ordinate GCS tried and used correctly by the patients. The aim of this study was to investigate the latest research regarding the efficacy of GCS in prevention of postoperative DVT and if there are any incorrectness in usage. And assess guidelines and recommendations for the usage of GCS. Method: Literature review.

Hjälpmedel är ofta en förutsättning för att personer med funktionshinder ska klara av sinaolika dagliga aktiviteter.Syftet med uppsatsen är att genomföra en jämförelse mellan Örebro län, Västmanland och Södermanland hur tillfredsställda brukarna är med sitt hjälpmedel och service.Resultatet visaratt majoriteten av brukare i de tre olika länen är tillfredställda med sitt hjälpmedel och service.Det högsta medelvärdet visar att brukare i Örebro län var mest tillfredställda med variabelneffektivitet och varaktighet, brukare i Västmanland var även de mest tillfredställda medvaraktighet. The progress in the field of technology is often described as massive and its development has had a great impact on the social development (Vetenskapsrådet, 2012). As a result of the digital evolution, there has been a change in the way customer and company interact (Normann, 2011). The traditional way for players to interact with each other required an interaction human to human (ibid), a mode of interaction that now can be replaced or supplemented by todays technology and often Internet-based solutions (Salomonson et al., 2013). These technological solutions, the technical interaction, are often referred to as self-service systems. These systems enables the customer to carry out the tasks previously performed by the company (Hilton and Hughes, 2013).

Public service, om alla, för alla? : En studie kring generation Y:s minskade användande av public service

Syftet med denna uppsats är att kartlägga och identifiera en yngre generations, 18 till 30 år, preferenser för konsumtion av etermedia (Tv) inom ramen för uppdraget om public service samt hur de väljer och värderar de tjänster som erbjuds inom Tv-branschen. Det som undersöks närmare är orsaken bakom den minskade användningen av de tjänster som SVT erbjuder gentemot de kommersiella kanalerna och vad denna generation efterfrågar av det utbud som existerar.En kvantitativ metod kommer att användas för undersökningen och de empiriska data som undersökningen grundar sig på kommer att erhållas genom en enkätundersökning som sker via Facebook samt Itslearning där sammanlagt 106 personer deltar. Resultatet analyseras sedan med hjälp av tidigare genomförd forskning och inom teoriområdena värdeskapande, Service Dominant Logic samt tjänsteutveckling.Resultaten visar att denna generation efterfrågar underhållning som främsta värdeskapande aktivitet, i första hand hos de kommersiella kanalerna. Public service anses inte erbjuda ett större utbud av värdeskapande program och visar sig vara den främsta orsaken till varför minskningen av public service sker. Under förutsättning att SVT skulle önska öka generation Y:s konsumtion av public service, så skulle ett genomförande av följande ändringar rekommenderas: en större fokusering mot ett ökat utbud kring underhållande program föreslås som förbättringar som public service kan genomföra och kan om det utförs korrekt attrahera fler individer från denna målgrupp.

Pollen analysis of a peat core was used to reconstruct the last 2500 years of vegetation history, with focus on the impact of anthropogenic disturbance, in Hamra National Park, central Sweden. In addition, analysis of pollen in soil samples was performed in an attempt to locate ancient cultivation plots in the National Park. Nätspel och spelberoende bland programstudenter vid Luleå tekniska universitet

På senare år har spelmöjligheterna och aktiviteterna på Internet exploderat kraftigt och indikationer visar på ett ökat spelintresse. Syftet med detta examensarbete var att, med hjälp av en webbenkät, undersöka förekomsten av programstudenters nätspelsvanor vid Luleå tekniska universitet. Antalet programstudenter som genomförde webbenkäten, vilken baserades på South Oaks Gambling Screen (SOGS-R), var 675 och av dessa hade 252 satsat pengar på nätspel. Resultaten visade att de programstudenter som nätspelar utan problem var ca 31,8%, problemspelare ca 3,7% och troliga spelberoende/patologiska spelare ca 0,8%..

Begreppsbubblor/Visuella representationer i matematikundervisningen : En studie om bemötandets och undervisningens betydelse och möjligheter för elever med koncentrationssvårigheter

The aim is to examine how students with attention difficulties may demonstrate their mathematical understanding through visual representations. A curiosity about how students think about mathematics, national tests and Concepts cartoons has also permeated the study. With help of observations combined with interviews and actively work for a week, the study shows an idea of how visual representations can help students with concentration difficulties to stay focused on their tasks. I chose a selection of pupils to do some mathematical tasks from the national tests which they had not been able to solve before. Now in the form of Concepts cartoons, which I designed, they managed to solve the same mathematics data. In my study treatment and interaction reveals as key pillars for a successful educational work with the students with concentration difficulties. Thus, all pupils who previously have been unable to solve these assignments on the National test were now able to show their mathematical understanding supported by visual representations..

Nu är det mål igen : En studie om målsättning hos innebandyspelare i herrlandslaget

The purpose of the present investigation was to identify how knowledge about goal-setting is developed and applied in practice of male players in the Swedish national floorball team, by using a qualitative methodology. Participants were 6 players playing for the Swedish national team. They were asked to respond to the interview questions in relation to their perception of setting goals for a successful outcome in sports, how their goal- setting process has developed and how they deal with goal setbacks and goal attainment. Results revealed that Swedish national players in floorball employed goal setting often for both individual and team goals in practice and competition. In addition, many interesting findings regarding the process of goal setting emerged in the result.
