Composers? and choreographers? world of ideas. Aspects of the art process. This inquiry is about the artistic process when composing contemporary music and choreographing modern dance. I have studied three composers? and three choreographers? thoughts about the artistic process and the work that leads to a piece of music or a dance.

The increased interest in relationship marketing and the potential of the Internet as a platform for relationship building activities have given rise to new ways for companies to interact with their customers, such as services based on a freemium pricing model. Based on the premise that relationships are processes consisting of interactive moments of value-creating activities, value is considered subjective, relative and dependent on the context in which the activity takes place. Value is therefore variable given its context and cannot be pre-defined without nuances being lost. Despite the Internet's given role in societal development, our understanding of what contributes to customers' intentions to build relationships with online services is yet to mature.As the music industry is well established on the Internet, alongside the change in how music is consumed, it is thus appropriate to examine activities in accordance with a freemium based service that distributes music online, since it still lacks in academic understanding.This study aims to provide insights about virtual relations and how online services that provide cultural content should relate to there users as well as contributing to the ongoing academic discussion regarding value and how it is manifested by highlighting contextual impact on relational activities. For a rapprochement of relations to online services in cultural industries, this study assumed a practice perspective.

This thesis is about practising on a different level to get an insight to what techniques might work for me as a double bass player. It is about discovering how to use your brain into playing at your best level. I practised both talking and singing to myself and read a lot about thinking and hearing not only the music but every note before playing. The thesis idea came from not having a technique that worked for me while practising alone. Denna studie syftar till att öka kunskapen om vilken syn frilansande och undervisande improvisationsmusiker har kring skapandet av ett personligt uttryck och hur de anser att ämnesområdet kan hanteras i musikundervisning. I bakgrundskapitlet ges en överblick av begreppet personligt uttryck och därefter följer en presentation av tidigare litteratur och forskning inom ämnesområdet. Nästkommande kapitel om teoretisk bakgrund beskriver det sociokulturella perspektivet i egenskap av teoretisk utgångspunkt.Studien utgörs av kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra frilansande improvisationsmusiker med stor pedagogisk erfarenhet i ämnesområdet. I resultatet beskrivs analysen av hur improvisationsmusikers syn på hur ett personligt uttryck kan skapas och hur de som pedagoger ser på undervisning inom detta område. Det framkommer bland annat att ett personligt uttryck handlar om att bejaka sin smak och vilja samt att självförtroende, hantverksskicklighet och inspiration är aspekter att ta hänsyn till.

Their financial revenue comes from advertising spots on the client and registered paid subscribers. Together with Spotify, we have come to a certain focus area where Spotify themselves feel that there is potential for improvement. This area of focus concerns the conversion from using Spotify's free "Open" to the payment options Unlimited and Premium.Objective: We will use an innovation process to achieve an innovation grant that will create more attraction to the payment services.

This Master's thesis concerns the classification of compact discs according to the Swedish classification system, SAB. The purpose of this thesis is to critically study and discuss category Y of the SAB-system and its application in Swedish public libraries. The classification system has undergone great changes from the first edition in 1921 until today. In 1921 there were no musical recordings in Swedish libraries, today they are responsible for a large part of the loans. We discuss how the system's category Y has corresponded with the musical development.

This Swedish essay deals with a study of two tourist brochures of Värmland from two different years, 2005 and 2007. The purpose is to examine what their differences and similarities are through a comparison. My focus is put on what tourist categories the brochures mainly turn to. I want to se if they turn to all tourists or if they lean towards a special group of people.To guide me I have used both textual and picture interpretation.I have created my own tourist categorization as a tool for my study, named The matter tourist-related categorization. It contains six categories which all have some common denominator where tourists will fit in.The result shows that all tourist categories are mentioned even if some are more frequently mentioned than others.Key words: Tourism, brochures, categorization, interpretation, nature and culture..

abstractBackground: Dementia affected patients have increasing problems with memory , impaired language ability, which affects communication and behaviour is considerable. These difficulties may provide an outlet for aggression, agitation and anxiety, and are common in dementia, which is exhausting for patients and their relatives and carers. Behavioural changes are common condition in patients with dementia and affects quality of life and cause unnecessary suffering . Pharmacological treatment that is inserted to relieve these symptoms have many side effects. Printed out more knowledge about non- pharmacological nursing interventions that can facilitate care for patients , relatives and carers are great.Aim: To describe non- pharmacological nursing interventions in dementia care .Method: A general literature review of thirteen scientific papers compiled and described in a result.Results: Compilation resulted in two themes,  Music in dementia care and Stimulation in dementia care and four subthemes, Singing in the care, Listening to music, Activities and Consolation and fillip that showed a dominant positive effect on dementia affected patients and carers and there by create opportunities for caring in dementia care .Conclusion: The different nursing interventions may be useful in dementia care when they show a dominant positive effect on various behavioural changes, it seems memory stimulant and promotes communication between patients and carers which favours caring .Keywords: Agitated behaviour, dementia, non- pharmacological, literature review, nursing. .

Abstrakt Bakgrund: Demens är ett kroniskt tillstånd i hjärnan som kan försämras med tiden och sjukdomen påverkar främst de kognitiva förmågorna hos personer med demens. I Sverige insjuknar drygt 25 000 personer varje år i en demenssjukdom och antalet personer med demenssjukdom kommer att successivt öka i takt med befolkningen blir allt äldre. I dagsläget saknas det läkemedel för de sjukdomsmekanismer som orsakar demenssjukdom.Syftet: Att beskriva hur musikterapi påverkar personer med demens.Metod: Metoden som författarna använde i studien var en systematisk litteraturstudie. 12 artiklar varav tio med kvantitativ ansats och två med kvalitativ ansats inkluderades i studien. Manifest innehållsanalys gjordes med stöd av Forsberg och Wengström (2013).Resultat: Resultatet består av tre kategorier och nio subkategorier. Kategorierna var emotionella förändringar, förändrad intellektuell och social förmåga och förändrade livssituationer.

The demand of nature tourism is increasing and new ways to satisfy tourists are necessary.The goal with this report was to answer that demand by exploring the possibilities for backcountry skiing north of Torneträsk. This area was chosen because it is unexplored. This hasbeen succeeded by an extensive fieldwork. Aspects like topography, routes, slope angles andgeological places of interests where recorded. The results has shown that back country skiingis well suited for this area and poses no negative impact on the natural habitat.

This essay presents an example of the musical life of a female composer active in Sweden during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Through a case study on composer Sara Wennerberg-Reuter (1875-1959), the essay contributes information to her biography, which had been lacking specific details.Wennerberg-Reuter's biography has been discussed regarding traditional roles of women in music, her relationship to her own artistry and other active women composers, and finally the contemporary reception of Wennerberg-Reuter as a legitimate composer. Aesthetical theories prevalent during Wennerberg-Reuter?s life has been applied in these discussions, such as those presented by Citron, Öhrström and Hanson, combined with Citron's additional theories considering masculine/feminine elements in the musical approach.The main conclusions reached regarding the specific conditions enabling a professional status as a composer and woman in Sweden during the given time are;a) the liberal permission by the family to pursue higher education in composing, since this was in opposition to the traditions of the time.b) the access to a network of musically active women, from which a sense of being part of a female community can be created.c) the acceptance from musical institutions such as higher educations, composer's societies and media critics..
