How do the administrators of nature reserves experience the communication with the land owners concerned? The article is a qualitative study within the environmental communication subject. The study has been performed through qualitative interviews with administrators of nature reserves. Being in action the administrators must know how to communicate with people. The result of the study shows the administrators lack a language to describe their experience of the communication with the landowners. .

The mobile jukebox is an idea for a new kind of smartphone application that would allow users to dictate the music playing at various establishments. The mobile nature of the innovation allows for the possibility of a more ubiquitous service. Conducting a quantitative as well a qualitative study, the authors have found significant interest in this innovation service among potential users and potential distributors of the service. Furthermore, it is shown what aspects are important for decision makers to make a decision on whether to integrate the service into the operation of potential distributors of the service.  .

AbstractOur life-experiences and our background form the way we act and the activities we are involved in. The overall purpose in this thesis has been to study what habits are to be found in different activities related to the outdoors and how these habits have been developed. Hopefully this work can contribute to a better understanding of the meaning of habits in our lives and thereby play a part in a further differentiated talk about habits and knowledge in society. The background and my theoretical approach has been three views of habits:In practice these patterns of habits are not separable so this approach should be seen as a way of making the development of habits clearer. Another purpose is to study how the following concepts can be related to habits: Reflection, master-apprentice, episte?me, techne, phronesis, interest and tacit knowledge.

By transcribing one drum solo recorded and performed by myself and another performed by Philly Jo Jones, a drummer I?ve heard and listened to through out my life, I try to find answers to the question: How much are we influenced by the music and the musicians we listen to?My experiment starts with me recording a improvised drum solo and then transcribing it. Then I found and transcribed a drumsolo by Philly Jo Jones that I had not heard before. Det här arbetet handlar om flow och hur begreppet samverkar med olika aktiviteter i våra liv. Bakgrunden till flow förklaras inledningsvis i kapitlet om teoretisk bakgrund och sätts senare i relation till inre förändring, socialt samspel, fysisk aktivitet, kommunikation, samt pedagogik. Syftet med arbetet är att ge svar på hur flow kan användas i undervisning. Som metod för datainsamling har jag gjort en gruppintervju med fyra lärare aktiva vid Musikhögskolan i Malmö. Gruppintervjun fungerade som ett vardagligt samtal mellan fyra personer och resultatkapitlet är sammanställt i sex rubriker: Introduktion; Personernas uppfattning om flow; Vägar till flow och hinder på vägen; Gruppflow; Flow, kvalitet och kommunikation; samt flow och undervisning.

AimThe aim of the study was to develop a method for the survey of play movement demands and temporal patterns in order to enable a descriptive study of the defensive players in American Football. The overall aim was to  improve the understanding of how American Football is played to create opportunities for enhancement of current or developing new training methods to better suit football.MethodFifty plays from a Division 3 college football game on video from 2005 was divided into sequences of action for one player each from the defensive line, linebackers and defensive backs and analyzed with the video analyzing software cSwing. Every players sequence of action was recorded in a spreadsheet and noted on a scaled football field where distances were measured and together with time stamps from cSwing velocity was calculated.ResultsUsing this method it was possible to describe the play movement demands and temporal patterns which was the main task of the study. The defensive end worked on an average 4.61 seconds per play, the distance was 12.4 meters and average speed 2.5 m×s-1. The linebacker worked on an average 4.35 s per play, 13.7 m and at a mean speed of 3.0 m×s-1.

As a consequence, there are increased emissions of dangerous greenhouse gases. Transports are often mentioned as an area with high impact on the environment.

This thesis is about the interaction between composition, notation and interpretation and what occurs between the fields with an extended notation.The purpose of my thesis is to examine the possibilities tothoroughly describe and map the sounding samples through composition prototypes.The thesis has a qualitative approach, and the empirical material consists of different documents about notation and from interviews with musicians and students about the instruments used in the thesis.It also consists of 17 compositions recorded at Örebro University School of Music as an appendix.The analysis shows that the context in which the symbols are found, play an important role in performing them. Många studier har påvisat en skillnad mellan förmågan att benämna verb respektive substantiv hos patienter med hjärnskada samt hos kontrollgrupper (Caramazza & Hills, 1991; Mätzig, Druks, Masterson &Vigliocco, 2009; Szekely et al., 2005). Samtidigt bedöms aktivitetsord utifrån vissa studier vara mer krävande att tolka, vilket kan vara en bidragande orsak till skillnader i benämningsförmåga (Liljeström et al., 2008; Mätzig et al., 2009).Action Naming Test (ANT) är ett verbbenämningstest utformat av Obler och Albert 1979 (Barth Ramsay, Nicholas, Au, Obler & Albert, 1999), vilket översattes till svenska och normerades av Lindahl och Oskarsson inom ramen för ett magisterarbete i logopedi (2011). I normeringen genererade vissa ord många felsvar och sågs som problematiska, och en reanalys av det insamlade materialet efterfrågades. Syftet med föreliggande studie är att genomföra en förnyad analys av insamlade data och ta fram en ny normering för ANT i en population svenska vuxna, efter exkludering av problematiska ord.I syfte att undersöka vilka ord som gav upphov till många felsvar och orsaker till detta, gjordes en ny genomgång av 120 tidigare insamlade testprotokoll, samt en felsvarsanalys baserad på Barth Ramsays och medarbetares utvecklade modell (1999). Efter genomgång av angivna svar, analys av felsvar och ordens användningsfrekvenser i svenska språket, exkluderades tolv ord.  Jämförelse av resultat mellan tre åldersgrupper (20-30år, 31-65år, 66-83år), två utbildningsnivåer (?12 år, ?13 år) och kön gjordes både före och efter borttagning av de tolvorden.

The purpose of this essay is to discuss different memory techniques used by pianists so I can feel secure while performing during concerts. How do pianists learn to memorise music? According to me, are certain memorisation techniques more effective than others? Do pianists use different methods depending on repertoire? To find my answers, I have studied two other pianists? outcomes on the subject as well as applied my chosen memorising techniques on five pieces from different epochs. These techniques include visualising my fingers when they play on the keyboard, listening to the pieces many times, practicing short specific parts one hand at a time, singing the melody while playing the accompaniment, studying the scores without playing, as well as analysing the harmonic sequences..

De fick möjlighet att ge sin bild av hur de ser på populärmusiken och hur den har påverkat deras yrkesutövning som kantorer.
