Den ideella verksamheten och dess betydelse för individen The voluntary organisations meaning for the individual

In Sweden the voluntary socialwork is a complement to the public authorities. The voluntary organisations has become more important considered helping people in different situations of need.The aim of this study has been to examine the voluntary organisations meaning for individuals.The aim was reached through interviews by five guests from different organisations. We have also interviewed two employees from the different organisations to find out if there is any differences in their way of work.This study indicates that the organisations means a lot for the individuals. The social network, something to do during the day, a kind treatment but also the milieu are factors that seems important for the individuals. The organisations even creates a feeling of connection and satisfy other kind of needs.

Utveckling av ergonomiskt mikroskopstativ för produktion av optoelektronik : Development of ergonomic microscope stand for production of optoelectronics

Students at Jönköping School of Engineering were given an assignment from Jönköping municipality, to evaluate their decision support system, QlikView. The students have also developed proposals for improvement with focus on usability.The Jönköpings municipality has currently got 11000 employees and consists of nine different administrations. The target group for QlikView is approximately 600 first-line managers.The intention of QlikView is that the users can get an overall picture of their business by having all information in just one system.The purpose of the thesis is to obtain a picture of what the users think about the system today and present relevant suggestions for improvement, which the Jönköping municipality can use when the introduction of the new version of QlikView takes place. The research questions that the study aims to answer are:? Has QlikView got a user friendly interface?? How can the interface be improved to become more user friendly?Theories that this work is based on is Jacob Nielsens ten usability principles and Ben Schneidermans eight golden rules.

Twittra, gilla, mäta - En studie av åtta företags arbete med sociala medier

This thesis investigates and analyses the social media strategy of eight companies. How the companies measure and evaluate their activity and investments in social media channels in general, and Facebook in particular is studied through qualitative interviews. The findings are then compared and analysed. Findings indicate that companies' social media presences to a large extent are dependent on individual employees with high levels of interest for the area and that companies that have integrated social media into their others operations see more value from their efforts..

Synsätt på elever med läs- och skrivsvårigheter : En komparativ undersökning mellan två stadsdelar

Den här uppsatsen handlar om vilket synsätt pedagoger, skolledning och den politiska nivån har på elever med läs- och skrivsvårigheter. För att ta reda på rådande synsätt på dessa elever har vi valt att göra en kvalitativ respondentintervju med sex pedagoger, två skolledare samt två personer från stadsdelsförvaltning. För att ta reda på vilket synsätt man har på elever med läs- och skrivsvårigheter. Vår studie syftar till att göra en empirisk undersökning för att skapa oss en bild om vilka rådande synsätt på elever med läs- och skrivsvårigheter som finns inom våra skolområden. Vi har studerat tidigare forskning och historik som kan ligga till bakgrund för rådande synsätt på elever med läs- och skrivsvårigheter.

Nervositet : Om mentalt arbete vid musikalisk instudering

Studien är en föremålsanalys med semiotik som metod, och är en jämförelse mellan det konceptuella konsthantverket och kläder från varumärket Viktor & Rolf som drivs av Viktor Horsting och Rolf Snoeren. Syftet är att analysera hur två utstyrslar från Viktor & Rolf kan definieras på olika sätt när de placeras inom olika områden. Dessa områden är klädkonst, mode och konsthantverk. Här tolkas även hur de sammanhang som utstyrslarna visas inom  (modevisning & museum) påverkar definitionen av dem. Frågeställningarna lyder:Hur påverkar sammanhanget föremålets identitet?Hur kan ett och samma föremål tolkas när det placeras in i områdena för mode, konst och konsthantverk?Vad krävs för att ett föremål ska kunna betraktas som ett superobjekt?Analysen uppmärksammar några aspekter av hur vi definierar och tolkar föremål.

Att skapa förutsättningar för lärande på science center

Uppdraget som låg till grund för detta examensarbete var att utveckla Vattenfall Science Centers utställning och verksamhet. Uppdraget formulerades i ett syfte att studera hur sciencecentret som koncept kan utvecklas genom att pröva hur ett sociokulturellt perspektiv pålärande yttrar sig i skapandet av en interaktiv installation. Målet med arbetet är att föreslå hurett science center kan formas och utvecklas för att skapa förutsättningar för lärande.Arbetet delades upp i tre delar. Första delen består av en studie av litteratur med syfteatt få en övergripande bild av den forskning som berör lärande på museer. Målet var att belysaviktiga aspekter för lärande på museer.

Social Software Roadmap : Implementering av sociala verktyg internt i organisationer

Today more and more companies are looking out to adopt a new generation intranet, a social intranet where all employees can engage to express themselves and share information. There are large expectations on these new services, which have the opportunity to create high business value if used actively and qualitatively. However, there is a large challenge in knowing how to best implement these services in an organization in order to achieve this. This paper has investigated how an implementation should be made by defining obstacles for the implementation and adoption, discussing how they could be overcome, investigating what incentives could be used to foster usage and finding common success factors for an implementation.By a qualitative research method, consisting of five case studies and two focus area interviews we found a number of steps that must be followed for an implementation to be successful. First the conditions of the organization must be investigated in order to see whether or not social tools are suitable.

UGL-courses (Understanding Group and Leader), given in Sweden since the beginning of 1980, are a frequently used leadership course in all sectors of the working life. This essay purpose was to compare course members experienced benefit between two educational organizers. No earlier studies in the subject where to be found. The method chosen was quantitative. A questionnaire was sent to participants in Swedish Defence Forces and The Swedish Confederation of Professional Employees.

Implementering av balanserat styrkort i sjukvården : Fallstudie av Ängelholms sjukhus.

70 % of all implementations of Balanced Scorecard fail. In this essay, we look into which difficulties that exist when implementing a Balanced Scorecard. We have chosen the general hospital of Ängelholm for our case and we have made qualitative interviews with key persons in the organization to explain these difficulties. The most difficult problem the hospital faced was to make the employees motivated for the change. It is important that the management is encouraging and is taking an active interest in the implementation as well as experience, patience and having a long term focus.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur autenticitet konstrueras i en nätgemenskap som bland annat ägnar sig åt att återskapa historiska kläder. Gruppen heter Vi som syr medeltidskläder och återfinns på Facebook. Konversationerna mellan medlemmar i gruppen analyseras med en netnografisk metod. Det teoretiska ramverket för undersökningen består av en konstruktivistisk syn på autenticitet, subkulturellt och socialt kapital, kategorier, dikotomier och formella och informella hierarkier. Undersökningen visar, bland annat, att autenticitet konstrueras genom konversationer mellan medlemmar i gruppen som har högt subkulturellt kapital och står högt upp i den informella hierarkin, med stöd av medlemmar högt upp i den formella hierarkin. Resultaten visar också att medlemmar med högt subkulturellt kapital ofta har en relation till museum och universitet och att dessa institutioner påverkar konstruktionen av det autentiska även här.
