Attraktiv arbetsgivare : En kvantitativ studie inom Luftfartsverket
This study was carried out at Luftfartsverket (LFV Group, Swedish Airports and Air Navigation Services). The aim was to study what characterizes an employer of choice and further to examine how well the employees at Luftfartsverket feel that their employer lives up to this image. A quantitative method was applied in the form of a selfdeveloped questionnaire. It was answered by a random sample of employees at Luftfartsverket.The results showed that salary, good leadership, good relations to colleagues and a sense of participation were important factors to be an employer of choice. In the organization at hand good colleagues were the most fulfilled factor whereas good leadership were the least fulfilled factor.
Kriskommunikation i ett senmodernt samhälle ? exemplet Svenska Röda Korset
The purpose of this study is to examine how an organization communicates during a crisis and how a crisis can affect an organization's reputation/credibility in late modernity. The focus is on how the Swedish Red Cross handled crises from summer 2009 until spring 2010, and how the organization's reputation/credibility was affected by the fact that society has changed. The methodology used is a quantitative and qualitative text analysis. The results show that crises affect organizations, how much depends on how open they appear to be and how much credibility they have with them when the crisis begins. Getting to know the late modern society, to understand how it works, can bring benefits to an organization during a crisis.
Ledarskapets samband med arbetstillfredsställelse
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and leadership style as well as participants' perceived leadership style and job satisfaction. Sixty-two participants answered a questionnaire containing 56 questions regarding perceived leadership style and job satisfaction. The leadership styles examined in the study was transformative, transactional and laissez-faire leadership. The results showed a relationship between transformational and transactional leadership and job satisfaction but not with laissez-faire leadership. The results also showed that employees experienced a laissez-faire leadership.

This essay aims to create an understanding of how leadership can be arranged in a company that embraces new technology and telework, and how it can be experienced from the employees' perspective. In order to make it possible to investigate this purpose are three questions formed; ?How is the leadership perceived??, ?How does telework into motivation?? and ?How does telework into communication??. A presentation of previous research is given, focusing mainly within different types of leadership, distance, and telework. Based on this, three interviews was made in which respondents? experience of telework was in focus.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the Swedish laws regulate the proactive work of employers to prevent employees from getting sexual harassed or harassed on the basis of sex. The purpose is also to investigate how employers are supposed to handle employees whom have been sexual harassed or harassed on the basis of sex. Sweden has a segregated labor market which means that women and men tends to select different professions. This leaves marks on the equality for women and men, which also has effect on the fact that women and men are being harassed in the workplace or situations associated with the work. By investigating genderresearch I am hoping to find out why more employees get sexual harassed or harassed on the basis of their sex in segregated professions.The definition of sexual harassment is unwanted behavior that alludes on sex, and thereby violates the person?s dignity.

These workforces are those most affected by brutality and for ages it has been looked upon as a part of the psychiatric line of work. This viciousness is threatening the safety for both the personnel and the patients.
Att uppleva och upptäcka kunskap : Lärares erfarenheter av att använda en upplevelsebaserad utställning i undervisningen
Inslag av upplevelsebaserade utställningar, såsom museum och science centers, i skolans verksamhet är ofta uppskattade av både lärare och elever. Utbudet av utställningar har ökat de senaste 15 åren och forskning som gjorts inom området visar att det finns brister i hur lärare använder den externa resursen som dessa utställningar utgör. Resultaten pekar på att klasserna ofta är oförberedda och att utställningsbesöket sker som en isolerad händelse som inte införlivas i det arbete som äger rum i skolan. Kunskap om hur den informella lärandemiljön i utställningen länkas samman med den formella lärandemiljön i skolan är önskvärd och detta arbete syftade till att bidra till sådan kunskap. I studien har elva lärares erfarenheter av att använda en upplevelsebaserad utställning i undervisningen undersökts genom en kvantitativ och en kvalitativ metod.

This thesis aims to explore the use of costumed interpreters at museums. Firstly the thesis examines how extensivethe use of historical costumes is in Sweden, along with some international comparisons. Later on the differentways that the clothes are used is examined, and the costume as a resource for learning is discussed. In the lastpart of the thesis the ?function? of the costume is examined.
När tilltal blir trösklar : En studie i hur museum och skola samarbetar för att bemöta elever med funktionshinder
Studien belyser hur bemötandeaspekten av tillgänglighetsarbete för elever med funktionshinder kan se ut i samarbetet mellan museum och skola. Jag har intresserat mig för hur man som institution ser på den psykosociala miljön och vilka insatser man gör på museet i den pedagogiska verksamheten för att nå ökad tillgänglighet och bättre bemötande. Det mellanmänskliga mötet är av stor betydelse för hur en person med ett funktionshinder bemöts visar de studier jag tittat på. Samhällets lagar och förordningar visar sig ha en vägledande betydelse som påverkar på individens förutfattade meningar och attityd och som i sin tur påverkar bemötandet av personer med funktionshinder. Skolan och museets förutsättningar för att samarbete i lärande syfte har vidgats genom Skapande Skola projektet liksom museerna anpassar sin verksamhet uppmuntrar skolan att använda museet som lärmiljö.

Karriärmöjligheter inom Arbetsförmedlingen : En kvalitativ studie om hur de anställda upplever sina karriärmöjligheter
This qualitative study aims to examine what career opportunities the Swedish employment service Arbetsförmedlingen can provide, as well as how the employees perceive their career development opportunities. Furthermore, we have touched on what it is that makes employees feel satisfied with their job and workplace, and also stay in the organization. The study was conducted on one of Arbetsförmedlingen?s offices in northern Sweden and the informants consisted of six employment agents, an executive assistant and a head of division. The result of the study has been analyzed using theories within the field of career development.

This report focuses on work schedules in the retail sector, where work schedules are dynamic and change according to the needs and work schedule is a requirement for an effective structure of the work. This structure is important for maintaining a good order and all this is a requirement for a profitable business for both long and short term future. Work schedule also contributes to safety at the workplace. The purpose of this study was to investigate the transfer of knowledge by work schedules. The HRM employee we interviewed worked in Reitan Servicehandel Sverige AB which includes 7-Eleven, Pressbyrån and Shell.

The aim of this research was to gain a comprehensive understanding of how daily activities impact the organizational culture within the Swedish Police enforcement agency, Polismyndigheten. The study specifically explored the influence of the purported culture of silence on organizational culture. Employing a case study approach, data were collected with a qualitative method from a total of 15 individuals, including students and officials affiliated with Polismyndigheten. The findings were categorized into five distinct groups, revealing a noticeable gap between employees and management. Additionally, the study identified generational disparities and a lack of a clear set of core values.

The concept competence is considered to be difficult to define. Therefore, it may be problematic to define competence in business and to evaluate the level of skills of employees (Thomsen, 2010). In this study the aim has been to identify key competencies for employees working as purchasers for Skanska Nordic Procurement Unit (NPU). These key competencies will afterwards help Skanska NPU to evaluate purchasers? level of competence.The theoretical framework of the study consists of three different parts.
