AbstractThe purpose of this essay is to investigate the priority rules in the event of termination due to redundancy, the rules functions according to the Swedish labour market and which other alternatives that exist besides the priority rules. The alternatives to the priority rules which are introduced in the essay are the Danish Flexicurity-model and a proposal from the Långtidsutredningen 2011. The rule of priority is a very controversial law at the Swedish labour market, which makes the essay also describing the criticism against the rules. The criticism that the essay presents claims that the rules of priority contribute to immobility effects for particularly older employees. Further on the essay presents the criticism towards the rules, that they disadvantage young employees on the labour market.  The essay investigates also what the researchers say about the criticism.The results that are presented in the essay points to the fact that the rules of priority contributes to the immobility effects of employees but the rules can not be claimed to be the only reason.

Upplevelsen av anställningsrelationen under en outsourcingprocess

This study explores employees subjective experience of their employment relation before and during an outsourcing process and has its starting point in the concept of the psychological contract. Eight employees, in the process of being outsourced, were interviewed. The focus was on ?the employees? individual experiences and stories about the subjective and perceived employment relationship. Data were analyzed using basic qualitative analysis.

Samarbete, autonomi och stora personalgrupper : En personalvetenskaplig fallstudie om förutsättningar för medarbetare i en grundskola

The study is based on a human science perspective in which we are interested in the school as a workplace for adults and work with personnel issues. The aim is to contribute with new knowledge about what conditions an employee considers important to carry out their work, and employees' experiences of working in large personnel groups.We have made a case study in a Swedish local primary school for students in lower ages, with between 60-70 employees. We conducted nine semi- structured interviews with a hand-picked selection of employees from different occupational groups in the school. The study is empirical data -driven qualitative with abductive approach. To analyze the collected datamaterial, we have used the empirical data -driven thematic analysis.From the results of the study some aspects appear clearly; employees need to be seen by his/her boss, importance of employee autonomy and employee experience of stress.

Nya gränssnitt mellan människa och hav: interaktiva teknologier för ett marint upplevelsecenter.

This thesis project explores technologies that enable people to experience the world through animals' senses in order to spark interest in and awareness about the marine environment and its inhabitants. The project is carried out as part of a planned ocean themed science center. The purpose is to explore how a greater understanding of the marine environment can be achieved using interactive technologies. The thesis is based on a theoretical framework consisting of academic works on experience, learning in a museum context and sensory perception. Our proposed designs are a series of, primarily, wearable devices that translate sensory experiences and principles from the marine world to humans.

Tillbyggnad till Nationalmuseum i Stockholm

I mitt förslag betraktar jag Nationalmuseums klassicism och dess symmetrier som ett system i flera skalor, ett obundet system vilket det är möjligt att bygga vidare på. Det är ett system där massa hela tiden ställs mot tomrum, och där rytmen i allt från pelare till stora rymder och motsvarande massivitet harmonierar mellan huvudbyggnaden och det tillbyggda. Det är en byggnad avsedd för kroppen: man ska röra sig runt den och i den och känna hur det rytmiska pågår; hur massan och tomrummen får rörelse och vill flyta in i varandra och där volymerna får tyngd och gravitation i denna spänning. Jag har tagit fasta på det monumentala, inte nödvändigtvis som storskalighet, utan som någonting annat, mer mystiskt. Där tar jag stöd i Aldo Rossis Architecture of the City.

IT-säkerhetspolicy ? efterlevs den av anställda?

ABSTRACT The main purpose of IT security policies is to protect companies against intrusion and unwanted spread of information. Statistics show that IT related crimes tend to increase and because of that it is important, from the company?s side of view, to be well prepared. The IT security policy is an important part of that preparation. A lot of the crimes related to IT can be deduced indirectly to employees at the companies where the crime takes place.

Berätta något! : Att använda berättelser på museer

Det här arbetet handlar om berättelser som ett sätt att skapa identitet och sammanhang. Jag har inriktat mig på berättelser på museer; hur berättelserna kan se ut, vilken funktion de kan fylla och vad man bör ha i åtanke när man vill använda sig av berättelser på ett museum.Arbetet bottnar i teorier kring historiemedvetande och berättelser som identitetsskapare och tar även upp frågan om historisk korrekthet och hur man kan hantera berättelser som handlar om svåra saker. Jag har ställt frågor till museipersonal om hur de ser på berättelser och hur de använder sig av berättelser i sitt arbete.Mitt arbete har dels varit inriktat på museer i stort och dels mot ett specifikt museiprojekt, Två museer i Fisksätra, som drivs av Nacka kommun. Syftet har varit att undersöka hur museerna i Fisksätra skulle kunna samla in och använda sig av berättelser för att förmedla information och skapa identitet..

Varumärkesvänner och relationsreklam - En kvantitativ studie av medarbetarkommunikation på Facebook

Marketers of today are confronted by the fact that it is increasingly difficult to gain the customer's attention, as they first have to break through the ad clutter. In a landscape where the general attitude towards advertising is negative, one way to successfully deliver the message to the customer involves communicating through personal impact. By using stimuli containing identical information with different senders, this thesis seeks to quantitatively explore whether brands can make use of the personal networks of its employees, in their social media marketing strategy. The purpose of the study is to investigate if communication via the employees could enhance traditional communication effects, such as buying intention and electronic WOM intention. Furthermore, the study aims to examine which role the employee should hold when communicating on behalf of the brand, and if the communication effects vary with the degree of product involvement.

Skola och museum - samarbete eller motarbete? (School and Museum - Cooperation or Resistance?)

Avsikten med det här examensarbetet är att studera ramfaktorerna för användning av museum i undervisningen, vilka resurser museer har för studenter och att undersöka tre lärares attityder gentemot användningen av museer i undervisningsprocessen. Avsikten är också att undersöka vilka historiedidaktiska effekter som användningen av museer i undervisningen kan ha. Målet är också att försöka ta reda på hur samarbetet mellan skolor och museer kan utvecklas och förbättras. Metoden som använts är kvalitativa intervjuer med tre museipedagoger samt tre lärare. Undersökningen visar att det finns tre typer av ramfaktorer som påverkar användingen av museer i undervisningen; konstitutionella ramfaktorer, organisatoriska ramfaktorer och fysiska ramfaktorer.

Title: A study about conditions for leadership in knowledge-intensive firms.Authors: Cecilia Ekström and Niklas SandbergKeywords: Leadership, knowledge-intensive firm, hierarchies, followers.Background: Leadership is becoming one of our greatest social myths and is considered a total solution for many problems that occur in an organization. The view of leadership is usually from a top-down perspective, which contributes to an often underestimated view of the follower. Just as it is important to understand the leader's view of leadership, it is important to understand how employees view the structure from which the leader derives its legitimacy. The existing conditions in knowledge-intensive firms, such as autonomy, place special demands on the formal leadership.Purpose: The purpose of this study takes an employee perspective, to understand what the conditions are for formal leadership in knowledge-intensive firms.Method: A qualitative research method was used and empirical material was collected through interviews with employees in knowledge-intensive firms. The empirical material was analyzed by the respondents? mental images which were set against the theoretical framework of the thesis.Conclusions: The conditions for formal leadership in knowledge-intensive firms make it advantageous to have a leader with a withdrawn role.

En oviss framtid. Vart går allmänheten idag för att uppleva och lära sig historia och vart går den imorgon?

The purpose with this paper is partly to find out what people of different ages do to learn more about the past, and partly what they believe will happen within the next 50 years with institutions like traditional museums and the relatively new theme parks. How will the museums and theme parks evolve? Will they evolve? Or will they disappear?To solve these questions I have sent out a questionnaire to people of different ages. I have also been in contact with employees from different museums and theme parks in Skåne. I have used literature written by archaeologists among others.

"Jag skulle vara där en natt och så blev det 14 år" - en kvalitativ studie om hur socialsekreterare förhåller sig till sammanbrott i dygnsvården av unga

Swedish and international research indicate that many measures made by social services, concerning children and adolescents who are taken from their homes to an institution, are interrupted prematurely for different reasons. The word "breakdown" is used when a measure granted by the social service is broken before the projected time has passed. Research concerning how social service employees are influenced by measures being interrupted prematurely is very limited. The aim of this qualitative study is to examine how social service employees in Malmö are influenced by the premature interruption, "breakdown", of measures concerning children and adolescents who are taken from their homes to an institution. The theoretic basis for the study is Symbolic interactionism, especially the theory of Stefan Morén concerning conditions for change.The study is based on interviews with social employees, relevant material from research in this field and an examination of the theoretical basis.

En ny forntid? : ? förändringar i basutställningar om forntiden 1972-2005

The purpose with this thesis is to study how the arranging of archaeological objects in permanent exhibitions has changed over time. To find out about this I have been analysing three museums with prehistorical permanent exhibitions. The exhibition at Statens Historiska museum was produced in 2005, Nationalmuseum in Köpenhamn was produced in 1972 with additions from 1988 and 1995 and, finally, Malmö Museer exhibition which was produced in 1977. These exhibitions have been compared to analyse developments during the last 30 years. The result shows that there are different ideals within the exhibitions.

Ledning och övriga anställdas upplevelser av attraktivitet på arbetsplatsen ?Mora of Sweden? looks at how management and employees at the Swedish manufacturing company ?Mora of Sweden? perceive an ideal attractive company and what factors that determine one, as well as how these two groups perceive the situation at their own company. The main purpose of the essay is to compare the management?s point of view with that of the rest of the employee respondents? perspective. While doing so the author concludes that there are several factors such as how the employees feel about their physical working environment as well as their salary, of which the management lacks understanding or perceive differently and that there needs to be more of an open dialogue between the management and the employees..

Konstpedagogik i skolan och på museum : En jämförande studie av två pedagogiska praktiker

Denna studie avser undersöka två pedagogiska praktiker med utgångspunkt i bild - och konstundervisning. Genom att intervjua en bildlärare och en konstpedagog undersöks deras arbetsmetoder och förhållningssätt till konst och bilder. Metoden som används är en kvalitativ semistrukturerad intervju. Resultatet analyseras med hjälp av konstpedagogiska teorier formulerade av Anna Lena Lindberg, Carol Duncan, och Helene Illeris. Även ramfaktorteorin finns med i bakgrunden som teori.
